The bartender was completely rude to begin with. Which when people are drinking doesn’t mix well. Natural reaction is to be rude back. Well long story short she called the security women on me. Which obviously isn’t trained well because she put her hands on me, wouldn’t let me get my credit card off the bar and when told her I wanted my things before I left she proceeded to get more rough with me and struck me in my face multiple times. Ripped my shirt and my bra, my breast were exposed. I filed a police report and will be pressing charges. Good luck honey. Don’t come here. Just Terrible the people hate their jobs. Make it out like it’s your fault they work there. When all I did was come for a good time. Security needs to be trained better or they need to get their security team from a company and not just hire any random hot head that just makes the situation worse. On top of all of that! My credit was being used at the meijer in Detroit! After losing it here. Just unbelievable. Good thing a have a lawyer! You’ll be hearing from me!!!!!!!!!!

What a great dive bar... Wasn't planning on going out into downtown this far away from the hotel, but there wasn't much open. Was headed to another restaurant when I looked down the intersection and saw this place. It was freezing so I stopped in.... I'm so glad I did! What a great little place! Had live acoustic music from a local musician. She was good and added to the ambience. Bartenders were friendly and the alcohol was well stocked. It was Taco Tuesday so I tried one of each taco. The bartender said they cut their own tenders, so I had them too. All delicious. Definitely better than your typical bar food. The tacos we surprisingly tasty - not surprised that they were tasty, but they were tasty in a surprising way. Very Creative. The chicken tenders were fried well. Crispy and light on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. Had the 'Whiskey Buffalo' sauce - sweet version of Buffalo sauce, with a very small hint of Jack. I could drink this stuff. In fact, I think I did - didn't want any of it to go to waste! Could be a little thicker, but it was delicious. Had the Blake's Hard Cider. Never had it before... Was the perfect complement to my food. Completely recommend this place. Will be back.

Fun place to party, not for talking. All floors had really loud music. Since the audience is mixed age maybe a floor with just more normally loud music would be suitable. Live music. Overall very good just not suitable for me and my father when we were there.

Tin Roof is by far our favorite place to tailgate/pre-game lions games! The live music is beyond great, drinks are poured well, and location super close to Ford Field. Top floors weren’t as popular when we got there but the place filled out quick on Thanksgiving!

The music is great. They have different environments with different music in each. The views are perfect. The only reason why they don't get a 5, it's because they don't have variety of spirits in the 4th floor, and shots are overpriced. But altogether is a great place for any occasion

Did the Millennial Brunch prior to taking the peddle bike out for my sister's bachelorette party and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Yummy food, friendly waitress, and the music was on point. They even made sure to have the Lions game. 5 stars ⭐✨⭐✨⭐

Delicious food, great location to Comerica and surrounding. Our family of 4 wanted a unique spot for lunch during our visit, the kids enjoyed the scenery from the rooftop bar, we ALL enjoyed the food (even our picky little eaters!), and although it was a bar and probably not a great spot for kids at night, during the day it was a nice option. *Roof top doesn't have servers, so scan the menu and order at the bar. Chips and salsa, cheeseburger, Casear wrap, BBQ quesadilla, and pulled pork bbq sandwich.

Went to a private party here to network real estate. The event itself was great a little pricey and 20 percent gratuity with out warning but fast service food was cold and not very good. Got chicken nuggets other than that great

It's across the street from Comerica Park in Detroit.. Detroit Tigers.. The burger was great, but once again, it was small and over priced.. Another place that you have to get a loan to eat.. As far as the booze goes, I don't drink..

Very cool place, live music on Friday, Even during happy hour. Server was awesome and informative. Parking is a bit of a hassle especially if something is going on downtown. The only negative here is I believe my credit card was compromised, though not 100% certain. I would return, but might think about bringing cash next time.

They would not give my friend a drink even though she was 21. Held her for 20 minutes and when she threatened to call the police she obviously she said no. They still had to call 2 managers to check. The manager was extremely rude and when I tried to talk to them they were both extremely rude. The waitress was named Kirsten and the manager was Livvy I think,..Do not recommend for customer service at all…Even if you are 21 they won’t serve you or act like you are garbage on the steet.

Great place for a late night hangout. Excellent live music nightly and very reasonably priced drinks and food. Atmosphere is 10/10, love the fried pickles and the nachos. Come here if you are in the city and need a good spot to eat and listen to great live music.

Had a blast here after the Yankees vs Detroit game, had the biggest cups of beers I've seen in Detroit! Didn't get a chance to try the food. But had an amazing atmosphere and live music. Would definitely recommend checking the place out!

A few things I have to say is that the atmosphere is very fun and you have different floors for different vibes, but they start kicking you out at 1:30. In my years of clubbing and also working in bars, 1:30 is usually last call. I often times will end my nights at this club because of the chill vibes on the first floor which means I get there around 1am and I would think that means I have an hour to enjoy a few drinks. No, I was literally told I had to make my way to the door at 1:30am with half a beer in my hand that I had to throw out.

We stopped in here before a Tigers game for a quick bite to eat. They have a limited ball game menu which is perfect because nobody wants to wait forever for their food. Service was great the food was actually good and they serve larger drinks. Not bad for being right next to the ballpark and we would return again. They also had live music on the main floor which was exceptionally loud and also outside in the lot.

Do you from the third row is incredible you can see the baseball stadium in a great view of the skyline. Wings were great everything was price just right. If I had five people for 200 bucks.

I had such an amazing time stopping at this bar! I just happened to stumble upon it, and boy was I impressed. The music was absolutely bumpin’, the atmosphere energetic, and everything was extremely reasonably priced. They even had $2 tacos that day! The best part were the servers though. I can’t remember their names exactly but I believe it was Chelsea, Anna and Nate. Thank you for the great service. I’ve already told all my friends that I’m taking them next time we’re downtown. Thanks again! Cheers!

Food was decent, prices were fair. Worst Dirty Shirley I've ever had but the rest of the drinks were good. This place probably goes hard in the warmer months. The DJ was lame, but we had a good time anyway.

The chicken strips are absolutely one of the best in Detroit. I get them every single time and 3 is pretty filling. The tater tots are awesome. The potato salad is great. The mac n cheese is pretty good too. Love the Tin Roof. The entertainment is so fun. I've seen many people perform there and they are all talented. So much fun, go there and see for yourself!!! I will be coming back for many years!!!!!! Thank you for being awesome Tin Roof!!! Much love.

Music was good, but way too loud! Went to a catered event and was very impressed with everything we tried! Not the best decorated place, but a fun atmosphere and great location in downtown Detroit!

Great place to hang out downtown and listen to live music. Good drinks and food offerings as well. Wide selection of music with multiple floors.

Awesome place! Awesome people! The Tin Roof is now a go to place for us for live music! Saw Jeremy McComb and Dan Olsen 02.19.21. Had added accessibility needs..emailed ahead and they made it an awesome night for my daughter!

Went on a Tuesday, and they had a great performer with an acoustic guitar. She played for over 2 hours, and it was amazing. The beer, and drinks were also great as well. Service was very friendly.

I could have stayed here and watched the game! We had a great time, the band was fun. Nice place to enjoy the end of August. However, we do to have to agree that the bartenders outside were not very friendly.

Great food and music, what a blast we had most definitely will be coming back.
