Most stores have closed inside the mall. Very disappointed. Target, JCPenny and a sports store are the only large retailers left. One nice thing to see was the Vintage Carousel ride. $1 USD to ride.

I like this mall, although it's not my favorite, and is the only one available at Fort Gratiot Township. Sadly, Macy's store will soon be closing its doors for good; Subway restaurant has suffered the same fate as some other chain stores as well. I'm hoping that the entire mall doesn't close down.

I used to love shopping here but it's like a ghost town now. There are hardly any stores left open and basically almost all the good stores went out of business. They don't even bother running the carousel for the kids most of the time. Edit: the mall is coming back to life! There are a lot more stores now. Love the Michigan store! It's nice to see a lot of places busy and you can tell people are actually returning because the parking lot isn't empty anymore.

Wow. This place used to be great fifteen years ago. What happened? 😲😳 Walking around in here now, it seems much like a trip down memory lane. However in this case, I think this might be part of the problem. An old Gen-X mall rat that used to haunt this place, can't help but feel critical with the current lack of direction that this place has in the here and now. At least the carousel still operates.

Very nice mall. Unfortunately, the stores aren't fully occupied as is the case with most malls today. Hopefully they can build this one back up. Nice food court and beautiful carousel inside the main entrance.

New to area. My daughter lives the carousel.(is only $1 and parents ride for free with child) Mall is clean, but noticed a lot of empty store spaces. Unfortunately i feel most malls are ending up like that with all the online shipping

Not sure if COVID got them, but this mall has a lot of stores closed up, very empty looking. Target is great there and five below but the stores in the mall are slim picking.

Nice to see it hasn’t died like other malls. A lot of new stores so it’s relevant again.

There's so many empty shops! ☹ I remember when it was always super busy and there were more shops. COVID hit everyone hard though and the shops that remained are still amazing. Taking off 2 stars because I feel my experience was very limited.

I love the mall. It’s so fun. It’s an awesome place to just hang out with ur friends if u don’t know what else to do. Also the food court OMG ITS AWESOME. there are some pretty good stores here. I 100% recommend going here.

The mall isn't as good as it once was, but it's also not as bad as it once was. I'm not complaining about a place of commerce that still employs a lot of people in this community. Also, the theater is really nice as well.

I don't understand why they haven't put in bowling lanes. There is ample space. Amazing, first downtown dried up and city management wouldn't do something. Then add a mall. As long as Canadian economy is better than USA it would work. Well, bowling next?

It hanging on with some interesting shops. It’s clean and well maintained. Of course it is not like the time I went the first weekend it opened.

Very busy today! Great to see people out and about again! Security guard was on task today making sure the teenage crowd wasn’t disturbing families with small children and the older generation that were having a Sunday family day!

Was there today. Very empty and most of the stores I remember are gone. Reminds me a lot of the Eastland Mall. Its now being demolished.

December 18, 2022 This place is a great place to visit to go shop inside, eat out and enjoy a movie or just enjoy shopping with someone you loved hanging out with. Peace be with you all! Lisa Lavergne

More lively than some malls in Orlando, FL - excluding the 1 or 2 touristy malls. However, the food court is petite and dimly lit.

A decent mall though it closes so early. I've heard it used to have later hours. It'd be nice if they returned.

It was great. Always clean. Bounce house was awesome. Lots of fun activities for kids. Went to go shopping and ended up spending the whole day in mall.

This place is amazing. So happy to see actual stores coming back. Thought we were going to lose this place for a while but it’s still here and actually more stores are popping up. I’m very thankful for this place

This mall is unfortunately a victim of the aggressive takeover of online shopping. Birchwood Mall contains several stores with unique and appealing items for sale. While the amount of stores is limited, what is there is well worth it. For Canadian citizens, there are machines that change CAD to USD and vice versa. The staff in the individual stores are nice and helpful if you need assistance. Would recommend this mall.

No stores open in this mall only Target that i shop at. You get a strange feeling of abandonment when you walk down these long hallways. NO PEOPLE! Don't use the bathrooms here you will regret it! Its like everything else in the area, post industrial and on the decline. This mall and a few others on 24th need to be torn down. Maybe use the space for a hospital or a school.

Wasn't to happy with the mall most of the stores were empty or closed. But overall it is a pretty mall if you're just going for looks
