I made reservations, but when I arrived after brunch, it looked like they weren't needed. I was seated promptly by Clare as I waited for my guest. Their menu selections were endless. Our server, Alex, was great! The food was great! The drinks were great! Make sure you try the flight!

Swing and a miss, again. Came here because my parents wanted to eat closer to their house. Well, this is what the $23 fish tacos look like at Terry's. I think the ownership is too concerned with the Royal Oak locations to even care. They make their money on beer and cheap fried food here. Take some pride in what's coming out of the kitchen if you're going to charge the prices you do. The service and management are great, ownership and kitchen staff- I'm talking to you. This is pitiful. You could update your menu occasionally (every 5 years or so), but if youre not even going to do that, at least execute appropriately for what you charge when 75% of your food comes from the fryer.

Great Atmosphere at this place. You are welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. It is an older wood place near the water so there a distinct smell about the place but it adds to the character. The draft beer list is extensive along with the cocktail list. Many michigan craft bears along with national and world favorites. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms. You can't go wrong here. They were amazing. Careful, they do come out hot. My wife and I then shared the craft beer battered fish and chips with a salad. The salad was small but really good. The craft beer they use for the fish changes. Our night was Oberon. The fish was really good and the fries were crispy. They come in this cool little frier basket. Seemed like just the right amount of fries so you aren't stuffed with starch. We topped off our might with the stores cheesecake. Thanks to Hannah for the great service.

Hand cut fish was pretty good but nothing special to it for 19 USD. Fries were amazing. Mexican soup was delicious also. Servers were great and working hard.

The service was good, food was good. My only thing is I ordered Nashville hot chicken and the chicken was not right. My husband ordered a Terry burger which was good. I told waitress and she put in a new order for me for a Fatty burger. We did not get to enjoy our meal together. At no time we were never given an apology. We paid for both meals and our beverages. I think it would have been a good will gesture to at least buy us a round. We will not be back.

Service was excellent, but $26 for 3 tiny brisket tacos and a small bowl of dry rice? Outrageous prices for what you get. Crab cakes were delicious, as well as the spicy chicken sandwich. List prices when running "specials". Ie, brisket tacos. Crab cakes in pic.

Relaxed atmosphere, great cocktails, and friendly service. They make great fish and chips and I enjoyed everything I tried there. After a meal you can go to the arcade and have some fun with friends.

Awesome seafood restaurant! Fish and chips were perfect, especially the fries. Two decent choices of low alcohol beverages. The restaurant has nautical themed decor throughout. Had a great time! Bonus: DK Arcade is tucked in the back corner, with pinball machines and well-maintained video game cabinets from the 90s.

This is our second time giving them a chance. A disappointment once again. Service from Liz was atrocious. Food came out burnt and cold after waiting 1.5 hours for it. Now before you start getting on me our reservation time was at 7:30 well after the dinner rush. They were far from packed and should not of taken that long to get our food. Needless to say we're done. Legit the only good thing was the shrimp app. That was delicious!

Food was great and the service was pleasant. I did notice that we weren’t attended to as often as others (did not offer to refill drinks, take our appetizers plates away during main course, offer desserts prior to bringing our to go items, etc) but they were friendly towards us.

We had a perfect date night dinner here. Our meals and beverages tasted great, and the service was wonderful. We can’t wait to come back with some spare change to enjoy the arcade.

Great little spot. Plenty of beer selections and the food is above average. The beer battered fish and chips are fantastic and I highly recommend. It came with a cup of INCREDIBLE Ham soup. My daughter had the kids Mac and cheese and although expectations in a restaurant like this are typically Kraft Mac, this cheese sauce had almost no flavor which was a shame because now my delicious fish and chips were subject to thievery. My only real issue were the Buffalo Chicken Ragoons they had on special. They didn't have a price on the menu but I gave it a whirl anyway. The app plate came out with 6 pretty small and overcooked Ragoons with no noticable amount of chicken in them. The sauce inside was pretty fantastic however once I received the bill and saw they charged me $16 I was dumbfounded. If there had been some sort of crab and they were double the size that might have verb a justifiable price. Lastly, our server Cassie was excellent. Will be back!

Reservd a table for 945pm. They were nice enough to call and tell me the kitchen closes at 930 and to come sooner. I do. Food is very good. And the drinks are top notch. Service was very good.

Terry's was great. We dined in the igloo for supper on Sat evening. The food was great, our server was fantastic & we had a blast. The male greeter was quite unpleasant by yelling at the servers on who was taking our table right in front of us, but other than that, everything was great. I would def suggest trying the igloo dining!!

I really love this place.for my favorite blackened prime rib ($35.99) king cut 10 oz meat and 6oz fat but I still loved it! Service excellent as usual, not the cheapest but always good! Lots of lobster treats this time of year we also tried the lobster corn dog, lobster segment with fish batter which could have been thinner to let the lobster shine, perhaps a light seasoned panko with soda water for airiness . Always innovative!

You could not pick a more fun place to be! The food is amazing and they are always doing awesome inventive specials for food and drinks! I had a salted caramel apple martini when I went there last time and it tasted EXACTLY like a caramel apple!! The pomegranate mule is incredible too! A perfect place to bring friends or family. Their brunch has to be one of the best kept secrets in Metro Detroit, get a mimosa tower with your girlfriends!! I love their lobster rolls and they are totally east coast authentic, maybe even better than the ones I had when I was on the east coast! This is a place you can go with friends or bring the family to. They have an awesome arcade area for the little ones if they get restless. And of course the service is always impeccable. The waitresses are so attentive and always friendly. It's definitely one of my regular spots.

This restaurant has an arcade corner at the back! Has some old school arcade games like pac-man and a number of pinball machines in good working conditions. We came here for brunch so it wasn't as busy. Service was good, everyone's super friendly. We ordered mimosas and at the server's suggestion, my husband got the man mosa, which he liked! Their beer cheese dip is pretty good and so is their crab stuffed mushroom. Great for sharing. We got Lobster Rolls and a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was actually spicy so that is a pleasant surprise! We've tried many spicy chicken sandwiches which miss the mark so if you're looking for something with a kick, definitely go for it! Overall, this is a chill place to relax and hang with friends over a beer or just a meal

We always have a great time at Terry's Terrace! There's tasty food, too many drink options to mention, and a great atmosphere. At brunch, we ordered the Beachy Margarita Flight and Barbie Dream Cocktail. Can't wait to see what the weekly features are next time!

Stopped here for a late lunch. Grabbed a very good craft beer that was nice and cold and some food. Service and food was excellent. The French onion here definitely ranks very high in my book for one of the top 5 I've had anywhere. Very fun atmosphere and friendly staff.

The whole staff was very nice. They a large menu to order they are known for their extensive beer selection arcade in the back was definitely a reason we went there. I find the drinks and wine high-priced when compared to the other bars in the immediate area. You are able to get points with credit cards at this location which is also a plus

OMG if I could afford to eat here 3 times a day everyday I would! The lobster bisque and lobster Omelette are to die for! MOUTH WATERING. The mimosas are fabulous, I never come with 3 people so we can't try the tower yet lol. But the atmosphere is so fitting and perfect for families, outings and my favorites.... Dates! I can't wait to try the flights next time. I will have to come for lunch. My date had the fish and chips so I tried his to and it was amazing as well. That batter on the fish, OMG! The service is always amazing as well. Can't wait to come back 10,000,000 more times! Thank you all.

Lobster bisque 🦞 is amazing!! We had a larger party for a birthday, and arrived at different times. We were able to be seated as we came and drink orders were taken accordingly. Our soups and salads were brought out in a timely manner. Entrees were brought out by runners since it was a busy Friday night, and the house was packed (greatly appreciated for warm food). Our server Mary was more than accommodating and provided prompt refills and service along with keeping the birthday girl happy (who was celebrating her 81st). Thanks for a great experience!

Went there today for the 4th of July. Had the margarita flight so festive + cute! It was our first there and kelly was our server such a nice lady! Tried the crabbed stuffed mushroom app she recommended super good! Also had my taste of crab loved they put butter on a little candle to keep it melting. Will be back!! only bad thing id say is the bathrooms are a tad dark for my liking.

First time at this restaurant and it was great. Nikki was a great host and waitress and suggested several drinks and food items. The homemade tartar sauce was delicious and perfect on the fish & chips and calamari.

Taste* Fish and chips-Sam Adam's breading- Overall nice crispy finish but somewhat wet and undercooked texture. Not my favorite fish & chips experience. Waffles & chicken* light breading throws off the should be southern feel to this dish. Presentation was nice but flavor not really anything to go back for. Sidenote-Pinball selection is great but the strange odor in the arcade was foul.

All entrees were very good. The server had several tables arrive with multiple guests per table, so the service was as good as can be expected. The atmosphere is that of a friendly neighborhood bar that makes better food than the average bar. I usually have fried fish and chips, but I ordered French dip this visit. I prefer the fish and chips. One of the members of the party had lobster tails and really liked them. My wife and I each had a frozen well Marguerita and we both enjoyed them.

RESERVATIONS!!!! You know I'm going to ALWAYS suggest that you make reservations (if possible) when you want to go and have a uninterrupted food outing. 😉 When we arrived we were seated right away, the place wasn't too crowded and the atmosphere was nice for a Sweetest day dinner. Our food assistant for the evening was Karen and she was an absolute delight 😊. She was funny and honest when we asked her about the food options. Once our orders were placed the food came out at a fairly decent time. The drinks were meh. The lemon was ok (according to King Lemonade), the daiquiri I ordered was not what I thought so I drink it. 😅 When our food arrived the ribs were not as tasty as we hoped, the chicken tenders were good, but foodies be warned that when ordering the shrimp and lobster alfredo you are going to get "shreds" of lobster and tiny shrimp. So that part was a bummer. Overall we enjoyed our evening. - @according2teau 👽🦄

This place is amazing! Plenty of pinball machines to enjoy; the food was fabulous! They even have a full page vegan menu with gluten free options too. Highly recommend you try this place out at least once. Fun for the whole family. And they have two alcohol addition options for shakes!!! Yum!!

Came here for date night! Food was amazing. Started off with burnt ends as a appetizer, that was really good i highly recommend. Then he got salmon fish and chips with fries which i also recommend. I got the bourbon glazed salmon. We choose the chicken cordon bleu soup which was also super good! While we were waiting for our food a magician came and did some card tricks. Then we ending the night playing some arcade games. Had a wonderful date night❤

Went for dinner fried shrimp where excellent along with fish and chips. Ordered lobster bisque soup which is delicious I love the clam chowder only available on the weekends. Melissa our waitress was fantastic on top of everything we needed. Food came out fast our dining time was a little over an hour. We had an early dinner to heat the rush.

Got reservations and they sit us down at a table that was so wobbly that any time I was cutting my steak, our over price wine was spilling over. We ordered French onion soup which was ok but for $10 I expected a lot more flavor, even the broth was almost clear color. I got the sirloin which was excellent cooked but was kinda bland. Wife got the coconut shrimp and she said it was one of the best she ever had. Both meals came with a soup or salad potatoes and the meal. We l got the salad since we ordered the French onion soup. That never came. We asked the waiter if we could just pay the difference on the soup since we didn’t get salad and said they couldn’t do that but we can take the salad to go. Seriously? Who wants to take a side salad home. By the way, it was our choice on the wine but we looked up the bottle and our glass paid for the bottle and then some. Sold cheaper by the bottle at total wine then what we paid for by the glass. Friendly associates. Good atmosphere.
