I just found out they never deleted my card information from my last visit. Last time I called the intercom to exit the garage as my card was not reading, and it’s counting hours as if I never left the parking… I was there yesterday for 1 hour, and inserted my card to leave, and it showed over $1,200!!!!!! There is no live customer service to discuss this issue. I was told to e-mail the customer service. I really hope they delete my information and charge me $10 that should have been charged to my card… I will write an update in the future…

Parking garage is centrally located and within walking distance of all of Downtown Detroit's attractions. Very clean. Short alley has a couple of intimate resterants. Highly recommend to visit one or two. Parking is $10.00 for a Sunday without a game $25/$30 for Lions or Tigers game. Getting in and out may be a bit difficult with narrow entrance and exit.

$4 every 20 minutes but overall clean and easy to get in and out. Just FYI no ticket prints out you have to use a credit card if you're not a member and use to it to leave.

Z Parking is the perfect place to park to explore downtown. The paintings on each floor are amazing and it’s a close distance walk to everything. My sister and i walked through all floors to look at the different art. It took us about an hour to get through it but we couldn’t even tell that an hour had passed. It is also attached to The Belt which is super convenient. There are security cameras on each floor and a security guard at the gate for anyone feeling uneasy about being downtown. Very safe and fun!

Buyer beware! This deck recently switched to an AI powered billing service that uses vague and unclear signage to trap you into having to pay "parking violations" under threat of sending the fines to collections. Parking attendants, while nice, are misinformed on the payment policies and give you the exact opposite instructions you need. The customer service is pathetic (powered by AI bots - no live representative to speak with) and will claim that ambiguous QR codes qualify as informative signage.

Good luck getting in or out. They only accept cards but the card reader almost never works. You'll be stuck in line, sometimes holding up one lane traffic, for about 3-15 minutes just trying to enter. This process then repeats when you need to leave. If your card doesn't scan after 10 times you can try the intercom but you'll probably just sit there retrying until it magically works or you decide to awkwardly backup with cars behind you. Sometimes, an assitant will be there to help but they'll just do the same thing with your card until it works. If a vending machine can do it almost everytime shouldn't a dedicaded scanner always work? After reading the reviews it seems s though this has been an issue for at least 3 months. I don't understand how such a core part of their business is neglected. Invest in a new scanner and your garage will literally fill up faster with no bad experiences. Otherwise it is safe and well kept.

Parked here for Summerslam in August 2023. The price was great for being only .4mile away from Ford field. Other lots near this one was going for double to 3x times the cost. You download the parking App and scan the parking app to enter was fairly easy and straight forward. That was the good now for the bad exiting. Due to the location of this garage you get choked off by all the surrounding traffic. It took one hour to simply exit the garage and I was only on the third floor if higher up can easily wait two hours. I would recommend going out to eat and letting some of the traffic clear prior to leaving.

We’ve tried to use this garage several times in the past week or two. Not once has the credit card reader worked. We’ve either given up and backed out, or had to call for assistance if there’s a line of cars behind us/we’re trapped inside. Have noticed lots of other people running into the same problem. If you call for help the staff are very nice, but it’s just not worth the headache (and the awkwardness of holding up a line of cars).

The view and the artwork was absolutely beautiful. However, for a couple hours of parking at 1pm on a slow Friday was $18 😮 if had known i def would have parked elsewhere

This garage is a perfect example of how modernism doesn’t always work the way we want it to. Both the times I’ve used pre-payed passes at this garage the gate at the front that lowers when the garage is closed or that specific gate is closed, has lowered the moment I scanned my pass, denying me the parking that I payed for on both sides of the building!!! Why did I even bother buying the pass if you’re just going to shut me out for doing so? I will never buy from this scam of a garage again. Park at MGM, it’s 100% free and a comfortable walk to any and every event downtown

Stunning city views, and unique art work on every level make this parking garage a destination as well as a parking spot! I'm a Family and High School Senior Photographer serving Metro Detroit and my seniors LOVE this location!

Such a unique parking experience! Love all the art! I utilized the mobile app pay feature the other day - it was easy to set up and super convenient

Love this parking garage for Senior Photos. The skyline view from the roof and the murals throughout provide amazing backgrounds for senior photography.

Close to Detroit Opera House, but not much else. There was a nice lounge, "The Brakeman" nearby. It was good. Our prepaid parking QR code didn't work and it took awhile to get a parking attendant on the speaker to help us.

Great location and nice spaces. The credit card readers to get in and out are terrible. Lots of times they take several tries or I have to use a different credit card.

My favorite place to park in Detroit. It’s attached to the belt, close to a lot of other bars and restaurants and it feels very safe, and great murals!

I hate parking. But the Z-garage makes parking-lot parking about as pleasant and reliable as it can be. Usually an attendant on hand if the machinery isn't cooperating. Handy stairs right down to the Skip. Easy walk to anywhere downtown. Handy entrance and elevator off Grand. Fantastic murals by street artists from all over the world. Well-lit. Considerate of passing pedestrians. Price seems to be reliably the same every time ($10).

I've never had any problems parking here. Pricing is steep, but the art and surrounding area makes it worth it for me. Close to a lot of places in Detroit and a great spot for photographers.

Very cool parking deck! The walls have been all covered by different artists! Definitely a site to visit if you'd like to take pics. Really cool Alleyway runs along side of the parking deck. There's music, Christmas lights hanging and some table and chairs. Very cool! A perfect spot two people watch!🤪

This is a convenient place to park in downtown Detroit. I park here whenever I'm downtown. I like it because they offer complimentary ChargePoint charging for my PHEV.

Nobody directing traffic after everts to clear the garage. Sat for over an hour waiting to get out. At least the murals were nice to look at while sitting in traffic.

👍👍 I parked here on the weekend and it was great. Got to park the whole day (even after the garage was 'closed') and it was only $10. I drove up to the upper floors and there were zero cars there. Just make sure you drive slow and watch for peds and other cars (it's really not that hard). Also the ele...
