My evaluation with the owner Bryan, was more thorough than the 3 doctors I consulted prior. All Physical Therapy is not the same! I was previously getting neck PT somewhere else, I know now, after 4 month, I should have been getting spine PT. Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy, gave me a realistic goal, that I would really feel improvement by the time we hit 10-12 visits, and I have. The entire team has been very patient, accommodating by creating ways to work around the limited use of both of my hands, while rehabbing my spine issues. The atmosphere professional, pleasant, and always keeps you smiling. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone in need of Physical Rehab, especially Spine issues.

From day one, I experienced nothing but a great experience. Brian and his assistants were calming, caring and concerned with respect to my recovery. Becka and Hunter were also very helpful. If you want to experience a great place for physical therapy, with an Owner and his Staff that actually really care, this is the place to go!

My husband saw Brian V. for several weeks after his total knee replacement. Brian is the best Physical Therapist we have ever worked with. He is caring, friendly, knowledgeable and sincerely cares about his patients. This is an outstanding PT business. We recommend them without reservation.

I live out of the country and was in town only for a few days and stopped by here for a free consultation. I’ve been struggling for months with a nagging injury and PT in the country I’m living in wasn’t doing it. I was able to get a very clear diagnosis and suggested trainings to better recover from my sports injury. After a week of doing these exercises at home I felt an immediate improvement and have been able to continue my sport. The service I got was great and the PT did a great job with identifying the problem and prescribing the things to address it.

I had severe low back pain and left leg weakness due to multiple levels of bulging discs and herniations. I could not sit for more than a few minutes, walk for more than 50 feet, and could not do my job. I was on short term disability for close to 4 months. My MD recommended me to have surgery, which I refused to have. I had therapy in two different places, then a faculty professor at Oakland University recommended me to see Bryan Kuhlman. Bryan is an Oakland graduate and OMPT certified. He took his time and explained the process of healing. He focused on mobilization to improve individual spinal segment mobility without aggravating the herniated/bulged discs. In every visit, he spent a great deal of his time mobilizing and manipulating my spine. Then after my back motion improved he instructed me in specific functional exercises that were tailored to me. His hard work and effort paid off and now I can walk for more than half an hour, I can sit for more than a couple hours and I am back to work full time. I feel so fortunate to have had Bryan as my therapist and I am so glad that I didn't choose the surgery option. I was also very satisfied with the support I received from the PT aids, especially Drake. THANKS to BRYAN and HIS STAFF!!!!

I was treated at this clinic for my left ankle and I greatly appreciated that my treatment was specifically designed for my needs as a dancer. My therapist, Rachel, listened to my treatment goals and never stopped working to find a treatment plan that worked best for me. Rachel never made me feel like "just another patient" but instead, I could tell that she genuinely wanted to work her hardest to improve my condition - as I noticed she does with every patient she sees. Not only did I receive sufficient treatment, but this clinic also provides a very fun, welcoming atmosphere. All of the staff never failed to put smiles on faces or attend to any needs of the patients. I am extremely grateful that I was able to fully recover and to enjoy the process along the way!!

I have been treated at several physical therapy clinics for my recent hip replacement. The best results were achieved at Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy. Bryan and his entire staff are dedicated to providing great physical therapy treatment.

My experience at Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy was very positive and I would definitely recommend them! Bryan listened, evaluated and had a plan to treat my lower back and hip pain. Bryan and team were extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. They were very patient and allowed me to video the “at home” exercises so I could continue my recovery. By far, the best physical therapy experience! Mickey S.

I am dealing with lower back issues and after an evaluation by a neurologist, specializing in back and spine pain, physical therapy was recommended. Seeking a location close to home, my insurance company suggested Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy in Auburn Hills, MI. Making an appointment was easy – Karen, at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful and an immediate appointment was set with Brian Venglar, PT, DPT, OCS. From my first appointment to my last Brian was always professional and friendly, gathering information as to my well-being, approaching each issue as they arose and offering many options to assist with my situation. Brian is very knowledgeable, and as we progressed through my physical therapy program, he was able to develop exercises to assist me during and after my sessions. The exercises prescribed were relatively easy, and very helpful in easing my discomfort and improving my range of motion. I feel the goal of improving my activity level while decreasing my pain was addressed and improved. I am grateful for Brian's expertise and assistance! The facility is easy to access (located on the corner of Squirrel and Walton, across from Oakland University Nursing building), very clean, and set up to address many PT situations. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. I recommend OSST and Brian Venglar to anyone who is in need of physical therapy. I will certainly utilize their services again, as needed. ~S Weiss

I had been dealing with back pain and stiffness for close to 2 years before starting therapy here. Bryan K. And Brian V. got my back moving and feeling better than it has in years! They always took the time to educate and challenge me. I’m grateful for the whole OSST Team that helped me along the way!

The clinicians are very knowledgeable, kind, and caring. They go the extra step to solve the root of my issue, and do an excellent job managing my symptoms. I have learned much on prevention, self-care, and how to live a more healthy and pain-free life. Very thankful to all who work there, especially Dr. Brian Venglar, who treated me, taught me about the "why" my pain arose, and the "how" to keep me less painful :)

I love this place! The employees are all so friendly. My experience with Rachel was the best I ever had. I’ve had PT on my knee a few times in the past and it was always a painful experience. I came here and Rachel’s main concern was to make sure I was never in any discomfort. I could barely walk and after a couple weeks, my knee was feeling so much better. I would, and have,o recommended Rachel to many people. They had great experiences as well!

Just finished 4 months of therapy for hip pain and am very happy with the outcomes. I liked the methods & professionalism of my therapist, Derek. Their methods are different from other physical therapy I have had at other clinics. The atmosphere of the clinic is very pleasant and oriented toward patient improvement. All of the employees I met were helpful and pleasant. They have helped me get back to activities I enjoy. I recommend them highly.

Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy is a wonderful place to go for all your physical therapy needs! It is filled with amazing staff and advanced technology for your specific injury. I have been going here for around a year and have had nothing but positive experiences! I have made both huge progress from my injury and personal connections with the staff. Rachel, one of the physical therapists, is one of the kindest and most intelligent people I have come across. I highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about the staff at this location. I worked with Brian Z after coming in for a consult due to a running-aggravated injury. I had been in PT prior for some lower back issues, but marathon training showed me I still had some weaknesses. Brian and his team were so thorough and diligent in getting to the root of my nerve issues, put together a great plan for me, and even went the extra mile to alter my marathon training plan so I could safely get back to running. When I first got hurt, I was seriously wondering if I would have to pull out of my race. Spots in the NYC Marathon do not come up all too often, so I was trying to avoid this at all costs. Luckily, Brian was able to get me back on my feet and running smarter than I had been before. THANK YOU to the whole team for helping me heal, keeping my spirits up, and encouraging me every session. Your thoughtfulness and attention to detail are truly the reason I'm still able to run this November. I could not recommend this location more, and have been shouting your praises to anyone I know who regularly runs should they ever need physical therapy in the future (and as a runner, those odds are high).

My experience at Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy was very positive and I would definitely recommend them! Bryan listened, evaluated and created a workable plan to treat both of my knees. Bryan is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. I really love that he talked to me and not at me. He made sure I was comfortable in my therapy session. I highly recommend them.

I started PT on my shoulder after trying to stop a fall. I went to OSST and was impressed right away by the clean environment and updated equipment. The staff are always friendly and professional, and my appointments are punctual. I work with Derek and he has been great! He listens to my feedback and adjusts his treatment plan based on it. Derek gives me a few exercises to do at home to speed up my progress, which are very quick and reasonable so I actually do them! I do not feel guilted or pressured, and he checks in frequently to make sure I am comfortable/not in pain. If you need PT, I highly recommend!!🤩

Physical therapists did great work with me. Now my pain is gone and I am stronger after only four weeks. They were very attentive to my comfort during treatment. They made sure I was doing exercises correctly, so I feel well-prepared to continue exercises at home. I would not hesitate to go there again if I needed P-T again.

Everyone in this office is so welcoming and professional! This place was recommended to me by someone that works here (Kyle Seidl). Kyle said he knew I would get amazing care here and he was right. It was so worth the 35 minute drive for me! My physical therapist was Brian (not Bryan the owner), and he took excellent care of me. He asked about my lifestyle to accommodate my care plan, he created a safe and open environment so I could feel comfortable asking questions, and he created printouts so I knew how to do each exercise at home. Lexi and Darren were often helping me with my exercises, and they were wonderful at making the exercises fun while insuring I was doing them correctly. There were a couple things that came up during my care, and Brian and Lexi went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. I appreciated that so much. One of the best things about the people here is their thoughtfulness. For example, one time I mentioned I wanted to go sledding, and Lexi and Brian both had lists of sledding places for me the next time I came in. They will take care of you here, and become dear friends in the process!

The absolute best office. This is what physical therapy is all about. Taking it to the top. Takes the time to work with you and address the issues you are experiencing. In just one week I have seen such a significant improvement in my condition that I am feeling positive about my future. Bryan, Shane and the entire staff at both locations are simply amazing.

The staff are amazing here! I am a sceptic when it comes to PT, I have had the worst experiences in the past but this place flipped my mindset around. I initially had a free 15 minute consultation which really put my mind at ease and allowed me to ask questions and voice concerns. The treatment I have received has been compassionate, considerate, professional and very helpful. I’m not ‘fixed’ yet, bodies heal at different times rates, but I am considerably improved and have achieved relief from the constant pain I had been in. It’s a process, but one I am happy to have undertaken here. Staff are SO friendly and helpful and the appointments are easy to schedule. On a side note, they also offer massage sessions and *wow*, it was the best massage I have ever had! My body felt like literal air afterwards and I took a four hour ‘nap’. Love this place!!

This is my first experience with PT and so far, it's been great. Brian takes the time to listen, share tips and demonstrate how to minimize my back pain. Would definitely recommend Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy!

Brian K...is a superb Physical Therapist...as an athlete I have seen many physical therapists over the party 10 years. Brian K and Orthopedic, Spine and Sports is bar none THE best place I have ever been..I recently had a total knee replacement with some early issues with stiffness..I can without a doubt say that if I had not seen Brian K et al That I would not be where I am in my recovery. Brian was diligent in managing my post op therapy. He is an excellent therapist who spends whatever time needed to get the result I was looking for... which was a return to competitive sports. Brian and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and the best...I will never go anywhere but here for my physical therapy needs.. thank you so much to everyone I have worked with... it has been a tough recovery but I am so much better because of you

Danielle Biolchini was very informative as she assessed me as throughout the process of several therapy sessions. I am 66 and had shoulder pain that stopped me from playing tennis. After 6 sessions I was back on the court. At my age, most injuries do not heal that quickly. EVERYONE at OSST was very nice and offered to help continuously. My wife Janet Fava is also very pleased with Danielle's help with her neck/back problems.

I am sincerely grateful for how much Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy and their staff helped me in a time of need. Being a collegiate athlete, it was very difficult to find a physical therapist that would help me recover through a back injury AND still participate and succeed at my sport simultaneously. Their support and care allowed me to continue doing what I love every day. The staff at this location are diligent, personable, and caring. Overall, I had a great experience with Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy.

I could not be more grateful to the OSST Team for articulately explaining the root of my symptoms, complete with a full spine model detailing discs and segments of a human spine. Additionally, I am immeasurably grateful for Rahcel Vuletich (and her students) expertly applying their understanding and craft to treat my wounded back. The whole team at OSST care about each of their patients, whether a team member is guiding me through an exercise for proper rehabilitation, engaging with me in interesting conversations about almost anything, or regularly cleaning therapy beds and machines, everyone at OSST cares about your overall well-being. Extra shout-out to Arianna for every time I caught her cleaning the underside of the therapy beds. I wholeheartedly recommend Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy for physical therapy.

I have been going to OSST on and off for nearly 3 years now (knee, elbow, and shoulder). Brian and his staff have always gone above and beyond to make their schedule fit my needs. The facility is super clean and very well staffed. It's clear they not only hire professionals who know the body very well, but also care about making my life better. I always feel like progress has been made each time I walk out. Their knowledge of the body is very impressive and they always get me using my joints in ways I'm not comfortable without their guidance. I will continue to use to OSST as I become an even older man.

I came to OSST Auburn Hills with unexplainable back and hip pain; and, a lot of frustration. From the start, Rachel made me feel heard as I explained my complaints and limitations. I left OSST with manageable pain and I would request Rachel if I need physical therapy again in the future!

Short version: Bryan LITERALLY changed my life. Long version: I’m 40 years old. I am an avid walker, my job is active, I weight train 4-5 days a week, I enjoy recreational running and biking. I love yoga, spinning, kickboxing. I’m active! Maybe eight years ago I started experiencing some minor hip pain. I went to the doctor and they gave me some steroid for inflammation and all was good. It’s bothered me on and off but 2-3 years ago I started experiencing hip pain and muscle soreness all over my entire body - pretty chronically. For a while I chalked it up to being too hard on my body. The pain got worse and worse. At times it was becoming debilitating. I stretched like a crazy person, I was drinking a ton more water, was eating even better than I normally do, went to yoga four times a week... I wasn’t getting better. I went to my doctor. He did bloodwork which all came back fine. No rheumatoid factor, no signs of arthritis, nothing abnormal. He recommended physical therapy which I did multiple rounds of. I was going to a chiropractor twice a week, acupuncture and cupping twice a week, taking Epson salt baths 3-4 times a week, sitting in the hot tub at the gym at night, doing the sauna at the gym in the morning. I was getting WORSE! My doctor referred me to a neurologist to do some nerve and muscle testing. The tests came back spectacular! Nothing wrong with me. So frustrating! We explored allergies - wondering if something was causing inflammation in my body to cause pain. So I started doing allergy treatments. I was STILL getting worse. We did some more exploring through MRIs and x-rays.... I was eventually diagnosed with double hip dysplasia and hyper mobility. All four surgeons that I met with for opinions told me my options were injections, medication for pain management and ultimately, I’m facing a double hip replacement. Did I just hear double hip replacement?! AT FORTY?! 😭😭😭 One of the surgeons said to go see Bryan at Orthopedic Spine & Sports Therapy in Auburn Hills. Bryan’s location is a 30 minute drive from my home and I had a physical therapist that I loved right around the corner from my house. The doctor said, “You NEED to see Bryan.” I was reluctant because I’ve already been down this road and it didn’t help but, what did I have to lose? I gave it a shot. Oh. My. Gosh. In my first two sessions he taught me more about “my” body (not “the average body”) than anyone has ever taught me. He gave me a ton of do’s and don’ts when it comes to exercising. Admittedly, I was super reluctant to the suggestions but again, I was willing to try anything! I did what he said and within weeks I was feeling 1 million times better. In about two months, I was completely pain-free. For the first time in years and years and years! Still while writing this, I can’t believe it! His entire team is wonderful and I’ve recently started seeing his massage therapist who is also incredible! I’m so grateful that surgeon referred me to Bryan. It was literally life changing. Thank you Bryan, for giving me my life back! I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for me, but mostly for what you’ve taught me.

Words can’t even describe how thankful I am for Orthopedic Spine & Sport Therapy. I had a pretty intensive ankle surgery at a pretty young age and knew this was going to be hard to bounce back as a PE teacher/coach. Derek Behlow went above and beyond for my care and therapy. He pushed me and made sure I was improving every time. The entire staff was AMAZING. I have dealt with many doctors and therapists over the years, but these guys are the best. I would drive very far just to go here again if need be. Thank you Derek for everything!! Highly recommend. 5 stars all day!!

I can't say enough good things about this place. I have been going there awhile and have been seeing Brian V. I have hip dysplasia and eventually will need a surgery but in the meantime Brian has been a great help to me in helping me walk again with no or little pain and just be able to do daily activity without pain. I first was skeptical as I went to another PT place for a while and did not get any results. But once I started here I could already in the first few weeks notice a huge improvement. I had to take a break due to Covid and restarted recently. And again I see a huge improvement already in the way I feel physically and mentally just after a few sessions. Brian V and the rest of the team are very professional, carrying and eager to help and make you feel at ease. Thank you Brian and the team for being such a great team of professionals and helping so many people feel better again. :)

The staff here is amazing! I was a patient of Rachel's for over a year due a back injury and I owe so much to her for helping me heal! She was always an advocate for me with surgeons and helped push me to continue to find a solution to my injury and pain. I would recommend her to family and anyone who is need of a knowledgable, experienced, and caring PT!

Bryan and his team are amazing at what they do. I am a fire fighter that has been off work for over two years from an on the job hip injury. In that time, I’ve had two hip surgeries and treated by other physical therapists with no relief. Since I’ve been going to Orthopedic Sports and Spine Therapy, I am feeling better than I have since the injury. I wish I would have been referred to them prior to my second surgery. It would have saved me from having an unnecessary procedure and going through the recovery process all over again. I also would have been back to work already. I highly recommend that you go and see them for a consultation before going anywhere else.

I came to Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy with a pretty severe spine condition. I’ve been a patient at several different physical therapy locations throughout the years but nothing compares to the quality of care provided at Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy. Rachel went above and beyond in her care for me! Every week she focused her plan on my specific needs to increase movement and decrease pain. My spine condition has never been better. I owe a lot of my recovery to Rachel and the staff here. If you’re looking for a speedy recovery, great care, and a welcoming staff this is your place.

There is physical therapy and then there is physical therapy. If you're looking for an outstanding PT place, I'd highly recommend OSST. They have a wonderful, knowledgeable and hardworking staff. OSST is a more manual based practice, which opens the doors to other treatment possibilities that aren't offered at a lot of other clinics. This makes OSST a game-changer in the PT world because they can provide their patients with a more individualized treatment plan of care. Just minutes from I-75 and M-59, OSST is conveniently located in Auburn Hills, on the northeast corner of Squirrel and Walton Blvd., across the street from Oakland University (within walking distance to OU’s Human Health Building). OSST makes their patient’s health and well-being a top priority. Call today to schedule an appointment, you’ll be glad you did!

I highly recommend this facility, and more specifically Rachel. I moved away from the area and was in need of therapy after a knee surgery. I drove 1.5 hours for treatment. I work in the insurance industry and constantly see facilities who provide “treatment” using a predetermined protocol designed to maximize profit rather than therapy designed for the individual. You will get specialized therapy designed for you at Orthopedic Spine and Sports Therapy which will help your recovery.

I came here one year ago with sciatica issues in one leg. My pain was reduced to zero over a 3-week period with Rachel and her team.I continue to check in for treatment monthly to ensure alignment with my upper and lower body. It is so important to have muscle and bone connectivity through prescribed exercise. The entire team here is outstanding. They have fun together and ensure you are fixed in the process.

👍👍 Corey! 10/10 best massage I’ve had in a while! Showed up on time, made me feel very relaxed and priced just right, would totally recommend!
