Shri Ambadevi Temple is situated at the heart of the city at Gandhi Square. It is a very old temple and can find it’s mention in the old gazetteers. People from all walk of life and from different parts of India visit this temple. The Navaratri Festival , which falls just before Dasara festival, is celebrated by people & the temple authorities with gaiety & Harmony. During these nine days various cultural and religious programs are arranged. Big mela is held on this occasion which is visited by people from all walk of life with same enthusiasm. Ample number of good staying facilities are available in various Hotels nearby. How to reach – It is 1 Km towards West from Amravati Railway station & 1.5 Km. from Amravati Bus Stand. Ample number of local vehicles and taxis are available from Amravati Railway station & Bus Stand. The Vehicles and Taxies are also available from Badnera railway station (on Mumbai – Calcutta Rail Route). Rukmini, the daughter of King Bhishmak of Vidarbha, hears tales of Krishna’s courage. She falls in love with him. Her brother Rukmiya, arranges Rukmini’s marriage to his friend, King Shishupal of Chedi. Rukmini secretly sends a message to Krishna, and together they plan to elope. The day before her marriage to Shishupal, Rukmini visits the temple of Goddess Ekvira. (This is in Amravati, Maharashtra) Krishna kidnaps Rukmini here. With help from other Yadav, Krishna defeats Rukmini’s brother Rukmiya. King Bhishmak, later arranges the marriage ceremony.

Most of the sports wears in Amravati city you will find in the shops in this temple area. If you want to buy any sportswear, please check the prices in the temple area shops. You will get it at very low cost. there is a photo studio where you can take your own photos and near this area there is Hanuman Vyamya Prasarak Mandal where you can swim and train in different sports. There is facility of devotee accommodation in the temple premises. If you come here from outside the village for darshan, you can stay in the devotee accommodation for a very chip donation. If you want to come to this temple , then definitely come here in during Navratri because there is a very happy and mind-liberating atmosphere. During the nine days of Navratri period, the atmosphere here will feel like heaven. This temple is a place of worship from the very ancient times of Lord Krishna. If you come here and you pray to get rid of your sorrows, your troubles, your financial problems, your physical sufferings, then surely you will benefit from it. Ambadevi Temple is a Hindu temple located in the city of Amraoti in Vidarbha/Maharashtra. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Ambadevi, who is considered to be a form of Goddess Durga. The temple is believed to have been built in the 14th century by the rulers of the Deccan region. It is situated on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River and is surrounded by lush greenery, making it a popular tourist destination. The temple's architecture is a blend of the Maratha and Hemadpanthi styles. The entrance of the temple is adorned with intricate carvings of Gods and Goddesses. The main sanctum of the temple houses the idol of Ambadevi, which is adorned with beautiful ornaments and clothes. The temple is known for its annual festival, which is celebrated during Navratri. During this festival, devotees from all over Vidarbha & Maharashtra come to the temple to offer their prayers and seek the blessings of Goddess Ambadevi. Overall, Ambadevi Temple is a significant religious site in Vidarbha/Maharashtra and a beautiful place to visit for those interested in history and architecture.

Amba mata temple is must visit places in Amravati, Maharashtra. Temple staff seemed gentle and welcoming. The only drawback was the parking 🅿. No designated parking 🅿 for two and four wheeler vehicles. Photography 📸 is banned inside the temple.

One of the ancient time's temple in amravati, there are two temples amba-devi and ekvkra-devi. On Tuesdays there might be some crowd but in normal normal crowd or no crowd sometimes. There is a very small area for parking and road to the parking is very very narrow. If you are planning to visit in a car then park it in parking area which is in front of HVPM.

Holy Shrine place located in d center of the city giving you the endless energy and blessings. Love to visit 💕 the place. Try to bring two wheeler near the temple area as it is very difficult to find four wheeler parking 🅿️. There are many shopping places besides the temple. The goddess faces are very much beautiful very beautiful decoration inside the premises....

This temple holds a rich history, standing as an age-old sanctuary that has been gracefully renovated. Within its premises, one can find two temples dedicated to the goddesses, symbolizing the bond between the younger and elder sister. The atmosphere in both sacred spaces is truly uplifting, resonating with positive vibes. Additionally, the surroundings boast a variety of small shops offering essential home items and delightful toys, adding to the charm of this spiritual haven.
