Nothing really special, but pretty well integrated and newly built thanks to the new cycle path on the coast. On Sundays there were 2 snack stalls. Otherwise it's worth a short stop at best

Wonderful to see the canons and fortifications at point diable. There is parking available but not too much else. Would be nice to have a bit of information about the site posted there.

Great place to stop by when you're on a roadtrip in the south and take some pictures. Do keep your mask with you since there's coastguard patroling the area and the will stop and ask you about your mask.

Nice place to click some photos. The place greatly changed since my last visit 2 or 3 years earlier. I visited on 08th January 2024. There has been work to extend the shore line. Before the water came till the black stone walls.

History cannons beautiful views

This place is in far remote place. It was under construction when I had. Visited. Hope it brings more crowd when it is finished. Since there are not many visitors it feels good. Nice secluded place for family to have a quite time. No special activities available We can just sit by the sea and enjoy the beauty without any disturbance

We only took pictures and stayed for 10 -15 min to see this place. Though it's beautiful to sit at a corner facing the ocean at other side.

These pictures being around 5-6 years ago, i can see how the government decided to preserve some of the island's history today... Still a great open place to reminisce about our old island, if you're from the ol school generation, as too many these days, forget our island's history...

I love this place that reminds us of the ancient battles that took place hundreds pf years back! Britain or French fighting to settle down in this Paradise . Time will go on but the traces will remain forever! Battles have settled down now let peace reign on forever. You can spend hours n hours by the sea. Enjoy!

First time been there. Very easy hike with an Amazing view around... Ruins from 1810 battle of Vieux Grand Port still present...
