We spent 4 days in the hotel at an apartment - a family of 2 grown-up and 2 girls (2 & 9). The apartment was big enough to take a rest without any major issues. Several times we lack a second bathroom as we need to take a turn taking a shower and it took some time before dinner. The room was not clean enough for our taste. There were some spider's nets, per shelves of the wardrobe were covered by a thin layer of dust, and we found some clothes under the sofa. Cables are hanging under the desks. The minibar fridge was so noisy so I had to turn it off since day one, which wasn't an easy task as I had to fully take it out of the cabinet to reach its socket. We book our vacation as Half Board. The included breakfast and dinner are in a no more than 3-star hotel, and not even close to a 5-star one. When we took something from the menu for lunch it was really good and tasty every single time. The menubportions are good and the prices acceptable. The stuff in the restaurant is a little bit slow but at least they are smiling and polite. The SPA center is good. There are a lot of pools and a jacuzzi. The water temperature in kinds pools was perfect, in the main pool too high and got, in the swimming one also perfect. The steam baths were lacking steam most of the time. The saunas were are good temperate. The ambient temperature in the SPA area around the sauna and steam baths was too low and it was cold. The air temperature next to the pools was also perfect.

Good hotel and SPA, but very busy. The restaurant has good food but the gym is not great. The minimum amount of basic equipment and a bit outdated. There are a lot of hiking and biking trails in the vicinity. Overall good hotel, would stay again.

Room was not bad but personnel are undertrained on the verge of rude. Don't let you spend 5 minutes in the restaurant area where you would want to sit with your computer (lobby's setting is totally uncomfortable). Food is nothing special. Spa facilities are OK with some remarks: tiles are slippery as they shouldn't be, sauna's not properly hot while the water in the main pool is burning hot. Some people poohed in the pool (not that it was hotel's fault) and the cleaning was sloppy. Not really a five star hotel, more 3 1/2 stuff.

Update from this year: We visited on work days and it was much more peaceful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. I tried a few from the SPA procedures and they were ok but not great and I had a paraffin hand care procedure that had no care in it. They just got my hands in the paraffin that was on a shelf in one of the massage rooms, I wasn’t even seated, got the gloves on, asked me to wait 20min in the siting room, then removed the gloves with the paraffin and that was it. It felt a bit rushed or careless for the money. We also used all the available pools and they were clean and the areas around them were cleaned frequently but the pools were left with a lot of missing tiles or broken stuff around them. Overall it was ok but the small things make bad impression. Old review: This hotel has a lot of pools and SPA facilities that are really nice. We also saw that it is cleaned regularly. We would have had a nice overall stay if we went there only for the workdays. The main problem was the restaurant and more specifically on the weekend. The food was ok but the lunch menu was the same every two days and if you haven't paid for lunch it is better to go somewhere else. The food overall was ok and the waiters were polite. But when we tried to reserve a table for two for dinner for Friday night (during our stay) first they said it was ok but when we went for dinner the manager of the restaurant was very rude and said that they don't make table reservations so we had to sit where we find a table. We were ok at first but when we entered the restaurant we saw that there were a lot of tables with reservation signs. When we asked the same manager why they say that they don't make reservations and there are reserved tables he was even more rude and said that the reserved tables are for more than two people and since we were only two we could find a place somewhere. Then he literally escaped from us and the conversation whitout saying anything else. He never even apologized for his tone, behaviour or rudeness. We were very disappointed and the rest of our stay was not pleasant at least.

The villas are awesome, staff, amenities, food.. everything great.. BUT the SPA’s floor is extremely slippery and dangerous even for adults. My kid is leaving for our hometown with huge bruise on her forehead. For few hours only in the spa I saw two more kids to slip and fall on the ceramic flour.. Definitely don’t recommend for families with kids under 11-12 years old..

If you love pools- this is the place! Just the indoor ones are 2 - one Olympic for swimming only (Bless!) and another warmer one for chilling and water play. The outdoor ones are 2 - gigantic one and a beautiful infinity one overlooking the forest. Vasko does the best massages. I keep going back. Oh and the spa is amazing- lots of options. I am a fan.

A great hotel with a fantastic Spa center. 3 indoor pools, 1 outdoor pool, all the services of a great spa center. Different kind of saunas, steam rooms, relaxing rooms, park with amacas and professional massage center with a wonderful service: romantic treatment for two, 3 hours of pure relax with private sauna, steam room, huge jacuzzi, massages and fruit and champagne. The restaurant offer a taste food. Competitive price. Beautiful rooms. Approved!

Nice hotel, but in kids pool there is more adults than children. Zero control.

Great place to spend a weekend or a few days vacation. The hotel is clean, in a nice setting, with nice facilities. The pools are fantastic, especially the infinity pool. The apartment we were staying in was huge, with a beautiful view of the pine forest. The staff is polite and helpful. The spa, on the other hand, is disappointing. Although there are many contents, except for one steam bath, nothing really worked. Unheated saunas, salty room with an unpleasant smell, suspicious towels .. If it were not for the swimming pools and the balneo content, the hotel as a spa hotel would be in trouble.

Great hotel with several pools and excellent Spa. The service is perfect. The only downside is the horrible music at both open air pools, which was a real torture.

Really good Spa. Reasonable pricing. Peaceful location but lacking view. Walking distance from downtown. Excellent a la cart dining. Excellent service. Tight rooms though. Poor indoor kids' playground. Gaming room is a joke. Dirt parking across the street - annoying in bad weather.

Good hotel with a large spa, but terribly noisy inside. Many people with screaming children. I suggest to the owner to separate the children's pool with partitions from the ones for adults! I felt the moment of relaxation only outside in the outdoor warm pool, where it was snowing and it was very beautiful and quiet! I recommend, but during the week to visit it. Rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and clean. The food was very tasty.

Excellent spa. The infinity pool on the roof is very cold 🥶. Nobody wants to go inside the water, it would be perfect view if they keep the temperature 30 degrees, not 24. The inside pool is warm enough and very nice 👌 Staff is kind and friendly. One of the best hotels in the Velingrad for relaxing with the mineral water and fresh air.

The hotel must have been great when they opened, but clearly it needs maintenance. The view is great, the park around the hotel is also very nice. However, the outside pools are cold, even in the beginning of June. The only outside pool with hot water is with broken tiles, which make the bottom of the pool very rough. The hotel has wonderful spa facilities, but no drinking water is provided, unless you buy it from the bar. The humidity around the inside pool was too much, so we had to go to the outside pool with the kids.

Our room was in a really good spot with a terrace facing the mountains and forest. The spa was really good. There were many options to choose, many pools and personal favourite jacuzzi outside next to the forest. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. We would definitely visit again.
