Well set out shop, can find what your looking for, staff are friendly but seem to prefer having more a conversation with themselves than be seen trying to assist customers

Terrible service from the manager who didn’t even look up from what she’s was doing to inform me that they don’t take Scottish notes !!!! Bit racist I think Shame on you jd sports However Portsmouth took them yesterday no questions asked!! Manager in this store needs training in customer service and manners My daughters all spend lots of money in jd both in store and online. From socks to trainers to jackets !!! Bad service Clothes folding was also unacceptable, the man doing it was having a conversation with the changing rooms lady. Very rude.

incorrect times posted apparently they close 3 hours earlier than posted has at least 3 sales people walking around another great business that would rather turn away customers than do business. even better ... all other shops are open

Paid parking near store, easy access for wheel chairs, wide alleyway between stock storage, no toilets available in store. Staff friendly with out the need to pressure sale.

It was the end of a long shopping day, the first member of staff directed me to the ladies trainers with a smile and was a bit apologetic for the narrow range. Tired and a bit grumpy after being dragged round town by 2 teens for the sole purpose of paying for stuff, I asked a member of staff for help. I told her what in needed, my approx budget and shoe size and she had a scout in the sale rack for things that might suit and also pointed out others that would fit my criteria. She even had a look in the men's section finding a pair that ticked all my boxes. Over all, brilliant service. Quick, efficient, friendly and helpful.

Shop is smaller than the main one one the cities high street. Cashier was a bit moody and blunt

Great customer service, quite a selection of trainers which is what I wanted but also t shirts and jackets etc from Adidas, Nike.

I ordered my item online for Xmas present for my grandson.. wrong item was sent, I got a full refund & £10 good will e-gift card. Thank you JDSports. I decided to go to the actual shop, with fingers crossed they would stock the item. Helpful friendly staff from the moment I entered the shop..they had the item in stock, my visit was at 9am, so I was in & out, an assistant who served me was training on the till .. but very efficient & friendly. Thank you Southampton Store. Would recommend visiting in person rather than online shopping.

Greeted on the way in and the store is the store is ok, attracts alot of people who would sell their kidney to buy a pair of Nike Air Max but is alright.

Well all I can say about this jd is never go there they have a good selection but the staff there are all gormless, 25 mins to check for trainer size and when they came back they had the completely wrong pair of trainers!!! Staff training comes to mind

Very rude staff. Asked for the same size a what was displayed and gave me a completely different size and when i asked for the correct size he was mumbling and when my shoes arrived he threw it behind me. VERY RUDE!
