Great little place that is popular with the locals. The food quality is good, but I have had better prepared fish and chips (crispier...) at other locations in the area. (Hence...4 stars) The best thing about this place is their prices! They are significantly cheaper than other carry outs in the area, and their meal deals make feeding a group or family even cheaper. They have plenty of other items besides fish on their menu for your friends and family. They also have fresh fish (whole fish and filleted) as well as fresh green lipped mussels. The service was quick and courteous. We waited less than ten minutes for our order. We will definitely return again here because of the lower prices and quick service.

2nd time there and the first time was bad but this time the fish isn't cooked properly and batter is soggy and the potato fritters are still uncooked the only thing I eat were the chips.. Don't recommend

Great staff....friendly and efficient. Fish always fresh......but would like a change of taste with their fish used for deep fried takeaways.... They used have generous amount of chips but now these are prepackaged for the staff. Lso used to be cheaper while maintaining quality but now the hamburger meat patties are so thin and they are no longer the cheapest in GI.... I hope they go back to giving bigger chips portions and also once they thick cut my chips....wow what a fantastic difference. Yep there is still plenty of potential with bigger portions, better meat patties for their hamburgers etc. I like them overall.

Yum food, good atmosphere.

Cashier got the order right (we got the receipt) but the order slip for kitchen (we were given the slip when we picked up) hasn't got the fried bread that we ordered, and somehow we were given more potato fritters? Not sure what happened there. We didn't check our order before we left so it was too late when we realised it. The chips were shoestring fries, which was a bit disappointing as we prefer the thick cut more. They were quite greasy. Potato fritters were thick and a bit undercooked for our liking. Portion was okay. The whole order was under average, but staff were friendly though.

Food is served fresh every time we’ve been here at your Glen Innes location. Definitely recommend this one and the staff are lovely.

First time getting food here, snapper for two with $2 chips. $16 all up. The batter was nice and thin (hard to find that, not a fan of the thick doughy stuff) chips were good too. We'll be trying some other things in future, the fish burgers, the egg/fishburger sounds really good and the prices are good too. Glad to support local as well, thanks for the lovely food and service
