Small place with lots of flavour! It’s the first Sri Lankan food we’ve had in Tasmania and we really enjoyed it. Specifically the rice hoppers were wonderful and the Vegetarian Curry Plate that came with a few different curries was so full of flavour! My husband enjoyed the fish curry which is made with thick tuna steaks. My young boys liked the cheese hoppers and the egg hoppers. They even have a little mini shop so we bought a few items to taste at home which included a variety of Sri Lanka biscuits. Also picked up some Ayurveda balm and tea that I’m looking forward to using. The restaurant itself is in an old servo. Inside is very small but there are 2 tables and it fit our family of 4. There was a very nice woman who served our meals. Definitely recommend even if just for takeaway.

Absolutely Amazing food !! We had string hopper chicken kottu and a fried rice with devilled chicken both tasting really good. The fish rolls were just the perfect appetizer. Although we live 1.5hrs away from Lonnie Im definitely coming back. The food is totally worth the long drive😍

Grabbed my dinner from here a couple of times. It was delicious and money worthy all the times. However they just impressed tonight with their exceptional customer service. We went in to have dinner but unfortunately they were sold out of most of the things, but the lovely lady over there offered us few hoppers and chutney, we agreed, all she could manage with whatever she had was 3 hoppers and they didn't charge us anything even if we were agree to pay whatever it costs. Such customer service is very rare and so is the delicious food they serve.
