The ambience and food is great. Their staffs are very cordial and helpful. We had Thai soup and Calamari. ✔ Soup taste was great. Had a authentic flavor. ✔ Calamari was moderate. A bit to oily for my taste. ✔ The ambiance, decoration and music is top notch. ✔ Loved their service and behaviour.

It was a mixed experience. Mostly good. The food and the atmosphere was excellent. But the service made a mistake they also rectified it beautifully. I am really thankful for that. The price is usual to other restaurants. They wanted to try Asian foods in a little new way (new for Bangladesh). All in all a very enjoyable experience.

We tried grilled squid and octopus. That dish was one of a kind and so was their seafood fried rice.all the dishes we tried were tasty. The environment was pleasant. However the one thing that was really bad in all that was the long serving time.

Visited one of my favourite restaurants after over three years and took some items that I hadn’t tried before. Grilled squid & octopus- Both squid and octopus were soft and grilled perfectly. Had smoky flavours from grilling, not rubbery or chewy at all. Recommended! Price bdt 425 Larb Gai salad- Salad tasted great but beware it’s strong, spicy kick might give you runny nose and teary eyes. Price bdt 285 Lemon & garlic whole fish (steamed)- It was not the best whole steamed fish I ever had but it was great for the price. The fish tasted good but the lemon and garlic sauce could be better. Price bdt 720 Chicken basil leaf (bdt 320), Beef with chilli paste (bdt 395), Prawn with green chilli (bdt 355) Out of the three the Chicken basil leaf curry was the best. It tastes like classic Thai basil chicken curry. Beef was not hot like the name suggests, it had mild spicy and sweet flavours with chilli paste aroma. Prawn was alright, nothing special. Tropic Thunder- Mocktail with dominant flavours of lemon, mint and sprite. It was alright. Price bdt 195

Love the restaurant decor. It was beautiful and calm and simple. Love the dim color. The service was fantastic. Unfortunately, the foods we wanted most of them were not available at that time. And we only got there around 7:00 p.m. so it was kind of surprising to see so many of the dumplings were already out. The grilled calamari with our baby octopus. Whatever it was it's fantastic. The shrimp cake was okay. I also had apple iced tea. I think that was okay as well.

Loved the environment and also the food. If you like Japanese fusion food then this restaurant will offer you many items. We tried fish, soup and also a seafood platter and everything tasted good. Recommended for small groups. The price is reasonable compared to the service and food portion.

Antique interior design will makes you feel that you are in a ancient ambience. Price is bit high as they charge 15 % of vat and 10 % of service charge, so you have to pay a total of 25 % extra on your meal. Kudos for their food quality and service.

I recently had the displeasure of dining at this restaurant that claimed to offer Thai cuisine, but failed miserably in their execution. Upon entering the establishment, the ambiance was inviting and the menu looked promising. I decided to order the Seafood Fried Rice, fried Calamari, and Steam Fish, all of which are staple Thai dishes. Unfortunately, my high hopes were quickly shattered as I received my dishes. The Seafood Fried Rice had a minuscule amount of seafood, and in fried Calamari, It seemed like the chef had used more flour than actual Calamari. The Steam Fish was another disappointment. The dish was not only unappetizing to look at, but the fish itself was dry and flavorless.

In short, I would absolutely recommend Fool's Diner to everyone. Pros: 1. The environment and ambiance are really cozy. The decor and lighting just have a way of making you feel relaxed. And I can't stress enough how good their music playlist is. It helps tie in everything into an amazing experience. 2. The service is top-notch. Everyone there is so friendly and kind. They always put customer satisfaction first and always ask for feedback. Once, when I had a pretty minor critique, they provided a very sincere apology and complementary choco roll. It wasn't that special of a dessert or anything, but their sincere verbal response to the feedback was well appreciated. 3. I absolutely love their food. I loved their fried calamari and seafood fried rice. Their beef basil leaf was nice as well. Among their sushis, the mixed sushi was decent enough too. Cons: 1. Some of their items are on the expensive side (although most of the menu does taste great). The viatnamese rolls were a bit disappointing, though. The choco rolls weren't that great, but they're alright for the price. From the multiple times I've come here, every time has been a satisfying experience. I would recommend coming here at least once.

The business lives up to its business title. Only a fool will go for dining here. The chef has zero knowledge of ingredient proportion. Only giving it 3 star because the service from the staffs are quite decent. They are well behaved. One the other hand, the bathroom is as smelly as local bus stand bathroom in Gulistan. Utter disappointment. The overall restaurant decoration is good though.

We came here for lunch and ordered the following: California Maki Roll 8/10 Nothing amazing. I've had better ones from Kobe/Ginza, Sumo Sushi. But size wise, it's bigger than a bite size. Vietnamese Rolls 4/10 Don't get fooled by quantity written on the menu. 6 pieces doesn't mean 6 whole rolls. It's basically 2 rolls cut into 6 pieces. Kind of disappointed. They serve it with a sweet sauce which I also didn't like. I was expecting they will give the fish sauce concoction or the peanut sauce which was supposed to be the dipping sauce for it. Seafood Soup 5/10 Extremely spicy compared to when we ordered it previously. Not good. Grilled Chicken Meal 7/10 Very bland and very under-marinated chicken. Seafood Pad Thai 0/10 It's basically some rice flat noodles with sugar. I ordered one and couldn't eat it. The waiter noticed and offered to give another improved version. And when new one came it just tasted less sweet, but no improvement with the tasted whatsoever. I think that maybe the chef never had experience of eating the original pad thai.Extremely disappointed! Iced Lemon Tea 8/10 Quantity is good, but the not the best out there. I couldn't take pictures of the other items ordered because I was already very disappointed and lost my appetite.

The food was absolutely delicious. The pricing may be slightly overpriced. The prawn tempura was a disappointment. Don't order prawn tempura. The fried ice cream is a must try. The sushis were to die for as well. My favourite was the avocado shrimp sushi.

The place is very small and was crowded the last time I visited. Interior is nice and the soft lighting is also quite good. I tried Teriyaki Chicken Platter, French Fry and coffee. Rice was good, but Teriyaki chicken was soft but too salty. French fry and coffee was okay. Price: Expensive. To give an idea, French Fry is 185 tk (plus vat) and those are just regular fries, not even with spicy masala. For regular fries, the taste is okay though.

This place is here in Banani for a while. When it started it gave me feeling of it being humorous place. Later when I first visited the place the feeling was kinda from inside. I was waiting for a place like this, that’s what I felt. Fools Diner is cozy, comfortable, good vibe environment. The menu and food serving and the waiters are just perfect. It is a place with the whole feeling of inner peace kinda feeling in a busy working area of Banani. Foods are amazing. Delicious, cooked nicely and getting the same taste for a long period of time. I love to eat here whenever I get time. It is my fav place of the whole Gulshan Banani area. I If you’re living in the area and new you should try the place.

Very nice and cozy place. I find their food very tasty and healthy. I like the fact that they use very little amount of flavoring and still it taste very good. I tried their squid and Mongolian chicken. Squid was amazing. Chicken was good too. I find one thing little irritating that we were six people and there was no place for us to sit together. So we had to sit separately. Otherwise it is a nice place for couple.

Everytime I go there, I've found their food freshly cooked. The taste of each particular dish is so delicious and mouth watering that it makes me wanna visit Fool's Diner again and again. Highly recommend. ☺️
