We had a great lunch time over there. It was pretty rush on the lunch time. There a smoking zone also that was also a quiet place to complete lunch. We took Tom Yum Thai soup and clear Thai soup. Both were very good. All dishes can eat 3 person. The whole steamed fish with lime was the best dish we had tried. I recommend to try the whole fish item and soup.

There is so many restaurants serving Thai food in Bangladesh. This one is something very much original in menu taste and everything. There are a group of menus which will assist you to choose your desired one. Location is very favourable and the place is very cosy. Recommended for the people who loves Thai food.

Only Crispy kang kong with special sauce and mango sticky rice tasted good to me.. Fried rice was also good. But both of the chicken dishes and the beef tasted really bad. Neither the soup was tasty. Service was good. Considering the good prices they are taking my overall rating is 5/10

The restaurant was nice. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. The food menu was good. But the starter seemed to be pre cooked. Rather than that, the other food items were nice. They have separate space for smokers. To sum up, it's nice for enjoying a meal for at least 4 people i would say

Nice location!! Foods are delicious! Chef is Thai. Services are good enough. There is also a open space for dine with BBQ facility. Open spaces is nicely arranged in a small place. There is also a Meeting room for 10 to 12 persons. Prices are little bit higher. Interior is good. There is also a baby play corner. Kitchen is open till 10:30 PM. Preorders or reservations are requested.

First of all the place is aesthetically beautiful, specially the entrance. The interior was also good. There is a nice kid's zone. Service was ok. Food was served earlier than said. Food taste is good but again that is subjective and depends on the item one chooses. The price is on the upper side which might be a deterrent specially when you add additional 25% with the menu price. The environment was good, the place was not crowded. So overall a good experience.

I love the Larb gai (Larb gai is Thailand's version of a Western-style grilled chicken salad, except the chicken is not grilled--it'sΒ stir-fried. This dish isΒ classic, traditional Thai.) Also we tried the spicy beef with green chilli, it is worth every cent for this plate. But! Yes, but! Only if you can take the spicy stuff πŸ˜… Pad Thai (or phad thai), is also good! It is a stir-fried rice-noodle dish commonly served as a street food and at most restaurants in Thailand as part of the country's cuisine. It is typically made with rice noodles, chicken, beef or tofu, peanuts, a scrambled egg, and bean sprouts, among other vegetables. Here in Soi71 they have 3 variations: chicken, prawn and vegetables. We ordered the chicken one.

I reminisce about the former Soi71 located in Concord BKash Tower. While their relocation to a stunning new venue boasts impeccable aesthetics, enhanced lighting, and comfortable seating with an array of buffet choices, I have noted a significant decline in the overall food quality. It is possible that a change in the culinary team or other factors has impacted the taste. I earnestly hope they reconsider and revert to the old recipe that once defined their culinary excellence.

Terrace & main dining areas are nicely decorated, clean & enjoyable. But inside private rooms are dingy with old noisy AC, toilet is small-insufficient & with kitchen. Kitchen is super dirty! Did not expect that! Food is excellent but super expensive. All dumplings were good but mushroom-bamboo dumplings were best. Grilled Squid was also nice.

Its a pretty chill and cool place to dine in with your friends/fam/partner. Food is expensive keeping that in mind, you'd enjoy the vibe there if you're into noise free environment! Their service, quality, and taste of the food is good as always! They have a pretty spacious designated rooftop smoking zone. liked the place!

"Soi 71" an excellent Thai restaurant in close to Gulshan -2 on the Kemal Ataturk Avenue. It prepares real Thai food items. I liked its food. Recently I went to this restaurant two times. Last time, I went to there with my foreigners as well as with my local colleagues. We enjoyed Green curry chicken, Red curry with duck, streamed fish with Thai sauce and one crispy appetizer item. However, I really enjoyed food at Soi71.

A decent Thai restaurant. The menu is rich and creative. The service is more or less prompt. The staffs are cordial. There is adequate seating facilities including an option for open sky balcony seating if weather permits. The dishes are yummy. They look impressive too. The interior of the restaurant is well decorated. The restaurant is located at a prime location, though the area is not famous for eateries. I am sure, this restaurant will be able to attract other restaurants as well to occupy the area.

Environment was very nice. We only had cheesecake, so didn't have any other way to judge any other foods than only the cheesecake. As I'm fan of it I have the feeling that it was complete disaster, felt that they made it some years back. Used artificial lemon flavour. They should be checking what they are making. Also the sugar level was very high which should also be checked.

This new location is very picturesque with very beautiful outdoor sitting arrangement along with tea-coffee and ice-cream parlour, and a bakery. The indoor sitting is very precisely designed for privacy and catering to large groups of family or corporate gatherings. Very thought out and efficient design overall in the new premise enhancing the overall dining experience

It's nice but everything is very very very spicy. The dumplings with chicken was delicious. I asked for perrier they didn't have a cold bottle. We paid 5600 bdt and put 6000 bdt, they didn't bring my change and decided to keep it as tip without my consent. Didn't really like that behavior.

  • 1/5 Sajjad H. 7 months ago on Google
The restaurant used to be my favorite but this time I was really disappointed by the quality of the food! Thai food should be spicy, I get that but not to a point that it is almost impossible to eat! The dumplings were hard and chewy. The larb gai was super spicy with no greens in it! Not surprising that the restaurant was empty! The service staff were friendly though. Overall, a terrible place to dine!

This Thai restaurant almost feels like a hidden gem, and is definitely one of the best, if not the best Thai in Dhaka. The flavors of the food stand out well, without being overpowering. Entrees and soups are served family style, but I believe you can order individual sizes as well. Most of the dishes are spot on. The only dish I’d recommend to avoid is the basil chicken (it’s ground chicken, not pieces).

Excellent Food and Service. Well behaved staff with proper Food service training. One of the top Thai dining experiences in Gulshan hands down. Food is excellent. Decorations are modest but the food more than makes up for it. Also has a terrace (outside) sitting area. $$$ expense ***** Service ****** Food

The place serves original thai dishes. It is a awesome place for family dine out. Parking facility available and the environment is cozy. The restaurant has a open room where you can enjoy food in the open also. The foods are expensive in comparison with other restaurant serving similar items in other places of Dhaka.

This was my first time visiting Soi71. Heard a lot about their food but i'm truly disappointed. Food was bland in taste and the most disturbing thing is that their prawn curry had a bitter after taste and smelly.

average food, overpriced. Tom Yum soup was salty. Rest of the food (fried rice, basil beef, basil chicken average) Pad Thai noodles was the only good dish we had. Environment is nice (neat & clean). all staffs wore musk all the time. Balcony is nice addition but being on the main road too much road noise.

I liked their food - specially deep fried kangkong and fish cakes - with special sauces are the best appetisers ,, we also had few items - among them - steam whole fish with lemon n garlic sauce, prawn fried rice , beef basil leaf were the best . The service is very good, we asked for warm water - they provided . They are ready to help you ....I am happy with their service.

SOI 71 is one of the best Thai restaurant in Dhaka city. Their price is high but the food taste is awesome. The decoration & atmosphere is nice. Open space is really eye catching. (Specially at night) That place is suitable for small party or get together programme. If you book earlier then you can add some design or decoration for party. The waiters Service is good. The place is little bit noisy because of road side noise. Food taste : excellent Food Rating : 9/10 Price : 7/10 Environment: 8/10
