To my profound astonishment yesterday I discovered how a well known food restaurant in the city can turn into a nightmare. The food quality gone down to the gutter. Literally. I went to Royal Buffet several times before but this experience was totally unexpected. We experienced several rotten smelling food. When confronted they removed those from the spread. The kebab and bakery products were I don’t know how many weeks old. The kebabs, brownies, doughnuts were wood hard. Thai soup got only gingers. They put heavy thyme to suppress the bad odours of the noodles and pasta. I simply can’t believe my experience here. I got my stomach upset from last night dinner here. There were no other customers other than us. We realised it why, after start eating the foods. Please

Had lunch there with a small group of 12. No crowd at all which was a great thing. Got unlimited drinks. Food was good. There were only 2 kabab options, but these were the worst. Otherwise everything was good including the staff behavior.

I wanted a place with good environment and good food. I got what i wanted. Price is slightly higher than the budget ones,but i will pay that because i got a nice environment with good food. And they have parking too ( in rio i had to park on the street) . They provide various Types of deserts. Unlimited drinks were given too. Dinner time was 6:30 to 10:30 ( which is a lot). One thing worth mentioning, they Have a dosa corner. They will make it after you have ordered. I am giving 5stars cause of various collections of food, good environment and parking.

Quite spacious, well equipped, organized and well decorated in fascinating surroundings. Foods are good 👍. But it is very time consuming task to reach the place from most of the areas, especially in week days as it is located at a densely traffic jam prone area.

They offer 50+ item in lunch and 80+ item in dinner. Beside you'll be happy with their reasonable price. Most of foods are really tests good and some are average type. The cool ambiance will let you enjoy the food in good vibe. Here must try item is dessert. They are bust best on it. Most of the cake I tried was absolutely awesome. Considering the food quality and environment, I found it as a budget restaurant. Stuff was also well mannered. Recommend place for bring your friends and family here. I'm not giving 5 ★ as recently they got fined by Mobile Court for lack of maintaining food quality.

Really liked the "dinner buffet" there. Every item served ready made, fresh. I was really worried about some negative reviews I saw but those are just bad luck I assume. My family liked the foods a lot. Decent for 1k per person. Taste is perfect. Remember in a buffet you won't get 100 out of 100 items so yummy, so mouth watering. but 80-90% were perfect for any taste bud. Only the Kebab's are not worthy but the sheek kebab is a go. And most importantly the ambience is really amazing for a buffet. So pleasant. Buttt, only 1 washroom! and that's not shiny as it should be. This is a drawback!

Interior decoration is great along with the service. The salad item is great. The unique fact of desert is the optimum quantity of sweet. The can accommodate around 150 persons. They charge 80% for children between 5-9 years and no charge applicable for below 5 years. Currently per person meal costs 999tk(vat included). The serving time is 7pm to 10.30pm. Highly recommended! Its way better than "The Rio Lounge". Judging by the quality of their food item, its Extraordinary(Specially their Thai soup)! We went for the dinner buffet. The most notable features were unlimited juices, unlimited cold drinks, warm soup, and a live dosa station! Our favourite appetizers were the Thai soup, chicken corn soup, wonton, and fried potato. The Thai soup was so good I had seconds twice! From the main dishes, we liked the mixed vegetables, fried rice, mutton rezala, and crab. The white crab meat was soft, and the sweet and sour sauce was delicious. The pineapple, cabbage, dragonfruit, and bean ones were our favourite salad items. The rice pudding, fruit chaat, fruit custard, and shahi tukra were the desserts that ended our meal on a sweet note. Notably there was a live dosa station with sambar and chutney. And the complementary cold drinks help you down more food easily. There is a washroom but only one stall for each gender. The service was good. The ambiance and decoration are classy. This is without doubt the best mid-range buffet we have tried. Worth every paisa!

Service from staff was very good However the pictures they displayed on Facebook is extremely misleading. The Kabsa consisted of 2 pieces of chicken, while the entire Mutton Polao had 3 small bony pieces of mutton and which was not refilled after getting finished. On their website and on FB the restaurant gives the impression that they have large trays of Mandi and Kabsa with plenty of meat. The reality is they have small pots of buffet with limited pieces of meat which does not get refilled once finished. Food quality is ok particularly the dessert, but salad was disappointing, They claimed it as Arab cuisine buffet yet there was no Homous or Mutabbel... The pricing is also much higher than buffet places serving equivalent quality food in the towers in Satmasjid road. Overall a disappointing experience and I would suggest to remove the "Arab buffet" branding as it looks like a gimmick

I am fairly new to Dhaka city. So after a thorough research in YouTube I opted to try their buffet. The variety in their food items was less. The cooking, I would give a rating of 5 out of 10. I haven't found any food items which I would try for the second time. The only thing that I like in this buffet is the complementary coca cola which you can take as many times as you want. However the horrible thing is the service of the staff. For this day they would get it two out of ten. I would suggest not to go there for a buffet and try your luck in a non buffet setting at this price point. If you really want to have a good authentic buffet experience in Dhaka city then I would suggest you to increase your budget and try a different Restaurant.

The toilet was disgusting, and they withdrew the juice items quite early from the buffet, and the refills were late also, but the food was tasty, specially the chicken fry was awesome. Actually its a hotel in-house buffet restaurant. So they are providing the f&b facility through this. Chef tried his best to cook but maybe the raw material of meat items were old after eid vacation and smells bad after bite. You can see the butcher from restaurant area so it's tough to take food after that. Besides the vegetable items were very good.
