Went there with my parents yesterday, I'll try to sum up my experience here. Although there food is extremely tasty but the service is getting horrible. Straight of the bat, the thing that i saw was 'flies' which are all over the restaurant and they dont know how to solve that issue. Secondly, while asking for any form of cola or carbonated drinks, they were out of them. We had to settle for water. Later I asked for ketchup or sauce, they keep bringing me mayonnaise. Like I said earlier, while the food tasted good but the services was horrible. Please keep in mind that we pay a hefty amount of money to have a good time with our family & to have good food and if that is too much to ask for, then please stop providing services.

I went this restaurants many times but never get disappointed. Foods were tasty and have good variation. Price is little higher but in terms of freshness and taste, it is acceptable. Location is good and satisfied with staff service. Their three layer cheese cake is outstanding.

Location is good. So many buffet restaurants in the same building. Forest Lounge, Girlic & Ginger situated on the same building. Secret Recipe is at the ground floor. Quite specious place. Sitting arrangement is well arranged. Food and service is as usual as in the other branches. Chicken items are better than fish items. Cakes are so good. Shakes and coffes are ok. People come here gossip and take food.

09/06/23 The service and food are joke. Took more than an hour to serve the foods, and taste? The road side tea and biscuits are far better than these. The Burger looks like it was prepared about at least 30mins ago. The salmon taste like it was in the fridge for a decade. Secret Recipe's American Cheesecake is pure heaven on a plate! Creamy, decadent, and perfectly balanced, it's a must-try dessert that will leave you craving for more.

Love their food, their interior decoration. Their cheese cake is No. 1 in town. Top-most / must-try items: - Ceasar Salad: Creamy sauce, crispy toast, tender chicken and fresh lettuce - Grilled Chicken Mushroom / Pepper Sauce: Perfect combination of meat, rice, sauce and the way of marinating. - Chicken Parmigiana: Crispy chicken with huge load of fresh chunky tomato sauce and covered with cheese!

This is the chain restaurant of malaysia that opened their first flagship branch in Dhanmondi. Their all food ingrediants come from different parts of the world. We tried some item from their premium food menu. Will review serially. Firstly, We order MANDARIAN MOJITO JUICE, SALT & PEPPER SQUID, DUMPING SOUP as starter. MANDARIAN MOJITO JUICE - 200 (5/5) Taste was kinda orange juice type but very refreshing. DUMPING SOUP - 350 (3/5) It is basically a soup dipping with chicken dumping. But the liquid was too sour to eat. may be because of excessive lemon. SALT & PEPPER SQUID- 575 (4/5) It is basically crispy squid fry served with a special sauce and friench fry. The taste was good. But the price was too high compared to quantity. Then we ordered the main dish Named GRILL CHICKEN STEAK. GRILL CHICKEN STEAK 730 (4/5) It is served with 2 sides named fried rice and sauty vegies. Rice's taste was average. Chicken was good in taste. It was juicy and tender also. Price was alright. Finally, we ordered 2 deserts named CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE CAKE & TRIPLE CHEESE CAKE. CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE CAKE - 333 (4.5/5) Secret recipe is the best for their cakes and pastries item. I tried this pastry before. It was too good but on that day, it was a little bit hard. Maybe it was on the fridge. Besides, it was good in taste. As their cake ingidients come from outside of Bangladesh, cakes price is bit high. TRIPLE CHEESE CAKE - 365 (5/5) It was super. Whenever you have a bite, you feel magic onto your mouth. It was so soft that it melted inside my mouth. Finally, i was very satisfied with their food quality. And pay a visit at least one time in a year as the price is a bit high.😁

So expensive place, everyone can not afford this! On the other hand, food quantity is not sufficient nevertheless three layered cheese cake found delicious 👍

I am a regular customer of secret recipe I almost tried every items from their shop,almost every item was good,but they are best for their desserts always, if you love desserts this is a must place you should try as they have varieties of desserts and each dessert is different from another according to taste, I always try their chocolate indulge, it's a must must have item from their shop,extremely chocolaty with balanced amount of sweetness,you will find 3 types of chocolate flavours from this item,recently I tried burnt cheesecake which is a new edition of their items, I tried it India once and was looking for similar kind of item from different stores but couldn't meet my expectations, but finally I got it here,you will love it if you are a cheesecake lover,also I love their lychee lemonade which is another must have item during summer, if you are a soup lover you should try their dumplings soup.These items are my most favourite items that I can guarantee you that you will love it.

As a so called flagship store of the Dhanmondi outlet, they have terrible customer service. I went there on a fine evening around 6.30 PM on a weekday. The place was fairly crowded with a few tables open to be seated. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to come and take our order. As were in a hurry, we then went to the billing area and put down our orders. We ordered a slice of Burnt Cheesecake, Chocolate Cheesecake, and Blueberry Cheesecake. As these are not meals which needs to be prepared after making an order, we were expecting them to be served quickly as we requested the staff who took our order. But, after waiting 10 minutes no one responded, and the serves who were nearby were super busy and never made eye contact to be able to call for help. Afterwards, we went again to the staff to get an update and they casually said they are giving our orders, which made it seem like they forgot. The restaurant itself is nice and the food was great, but the staff was very unprofessional for a high end restaurant which is taking premium pricing for their food and service. A little attention to these details goes a long way or they would perish like other franchise restaurants in Dhaka. I do not recommend Secret Recipe.

I tried their lasagna beef, salt and pepper squid and golden crispy chicken. Golden crispy chicken was okay. But I don't like lasagna beef as something was missing and wasn't flavourful after taking 1 or 2 bites I couldn't eat that. It was my first time feeling uncomfortable with the secret recipe . Also Their ac was not working properly..

Been there multiple times. It was always full over people. I can say crowed. If you want to go to a nice cozy place don’t go there. Now come to the point. Bangladesh’s best dessert place you can visit. Price is high but so is there food quality and taste. Recommended for everyone as you should try their Chocolate indulgence, Chocolate fudge, Chocolate cheesecake at least once. Staffs are well mannered environment is friendly for kids to bring. If you are going there to eat other food other than cakes best of luck then. Their foods are really expensive and not worth it at all. Only go there if you are craving for some cheesecakes and desserts.

Over crowded place. Some Dining table were not organized. But their dishes like fried calamari, fries with beef and cheese, dumpling soup, triple layer cheese cake were super tasty. I have experienced several time. The cost of the dishes were much higher as well.

Don’t recommend for any kind of custom designed cake. I ordered by showing them picture of another cake they assured me that they can make such a cake. It was a huge cake. However, it was a completely disappointment. The color I suggested cream and they made white. They were supposed to give a flower around the cake that they didn’t. Very unprofessional and irresponsible.

The best place for cheesecakes and pastry. It’s actually a haven of cakes. The best cake so far is peanut butter cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake. Also good for fish and chips and frozen blended drinks. Coffee is also good. And the place is very nice.

I ordered their new introduced Hatsukoi platter, one item gyoza was not available in the platter so they serve garlic mushroom, which teast good. Rest of the food was blend, and mashed potatoes wasn't at all good. I actually asked them to make it less spicy,so I guess they didn't use any chilly or pepper. That's okay, however lack of salt made it blend. I like the mandarin mojito glass.had huge expectations for dessert as there were lot of good reviews about their dessert. The chocolate indulgence cake was basic. I am giving 3 as the staff of the restaurant were well behaved and environment was good.

Carrot cheese cake is one of my top three favourites of Secret Recipe since I had them in Malaysia. The Secret Recipe Bangladesh launched this cake recently and I had the scope of tasting it today (29.01.24) at Dhanmondi outlet. It has been extremely disappointing in terms of size, taste & texture compared to the one I had in Malaysia. The size is less than half, way too chewy and totally tasteless comparing to the one of Malaysia. I was served a beautifully warmed-up large square sized block portion in KL always. For the first time I am having a bad experience in cake in this restaurant. If I score Malaysian one 10/10, the one I had in Bangladesh is 3/10.

This place always surprise me. It looks like a cake/desserts place inside and out but does more food than other fast food based restaurants. I've been there a fair couple of times and I have nothing to complain about. Be warned tho, the place is expensive. Thats the only thing to keep in mind before walking in, everything else is fine.

Very bad service, 👎👎👎 the food (seafood pasta) was cold, inside the squid and prown wasn't cooked properly, it's was cold inside. When we talk to the manager he said, it's should be served this way, how rediculas!! And the fry potatoes was spoiled. But manage or the staff doesn't greed us any complementary or discount, even though customers are paying for these untested expensive food bill. Not recommended.

Secret Recipe is great for their cakes and drinks.. Their dessert section is too good. You can try out their fish and chips too. But from my perspective their pricing is quite high! Yeah they're a good restaurant chain and they do maintain a good hygiene but still its not that affordable for everyone. They can lower their price a bit. But other than that food is good their environment is good and overall its a recommended place. Happy fooding❤️

Went for a quick breakfast ... Had to wait almost 30mins for the food. Other than that, the food was good. The ambiance was clean, and calm. I have tried their cheesecake before and it is one of the most decadent cake ever. The full English breakfast we tried was also good.

Exceptional quality and amazing food! I had been to the place a couple of times. They are best for their cakes. Food is okay, not exceptional. But the desserts are just the finest in the city.

The restaurant is located in a very nice location. Very unique and modern decorations. The food quality is also very good. I especially love there thai food. Behavior of the staff is very polite and helpful. Price is bit high if you compare with other restaurants but as taste is good I wouldn't mind that. So overall a 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just okay. Nothing exceptional. Took forever to prepare my chicken meal. The size of the chicken breast was big though.

Most of the items of their menu are not available. We tried two of their set menu. Chicken steak one was a good deal for us. The other is not that worthy. The rice was not that testy. Environment was great, we spend almost 2 hours their without any distractions.
