Very Nice mosque. Once it was a centre for the Jamat e Islami political party. Located at Kataban crossings, in between Shahbug and Bata Signals from East-West direction and between Hatirpool and Nilkhet from North-South direction. Geographically it falls inside the Dhaka University premises.

Separate place for female for praying. Wadukhana is very clean at level 2. Full airconditioned in level 2.

Katabon Mosque one of largest mosque in the city of mosque Dhaka in Bangladesh. Very good internal environment. Huge space. 4 stored building. Having market in ground floor and orphanage in top floor. It houses the Bangladesh Masjid Mission (Bangladesh Mosque Mission) and is officially named as the "Bangladesh Masjid Mission Complex Central Mosque". It is founded at the stables of Dhaka Nawab Family. The mosque houses the Islamic Economics Research Bureau, which works to "synergize the intellectual capabilities of the modern day professionals, academicians, and students of Islamic banking and finance". Many of these organizations advocate for a more orthodox form of Islam in Bangladesh.

An old Mosque in Dhaka city but very organised one.It is situated in front of Katabon Mor. The main compound is air conditioned. The Khotib and the Pes Imam both are renowned and good speaker. There have a good arrangment for Azu in left side of the 1st floor. There have a madrasha also.

Back in days i used to pray here. Everything is so comfortable and they use bangla for khutba. Restrooms and Friday prayer time shiould be better.

Most organized and smartly operated Mosjid. The most beautiful feature of this mosjid is that it has so secured place for women to pray. Every Jumua (Friday prayer) there comes a lot of women here and can learn Islamic knowledge from khutbah delivered by prominent scholar. Bicycle parking friendly and secured by CCTV footage every corner. Huge space for praying, reciting and many other religious activities. Cordially invited to pray here whenever you are able to.
