My wife and I aren't big on landmarks. We prefer getting into shops and markets and interacting with locals. Naeem was phenomenal at putting together a great day of seeing Dhaka like a local. Markets, watching people board the trains and boats. Buying some local souvenirs and spices. It was a fantastic day. One of the best tours we have ever done. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have traveled this world extensively, always using a private guide and driver for her comfort. This was the best tour we have ever had anywhere in the world. Arafat and our driver, Liton, were wonderful. They accommodated our every need. We went all over Bangladesh for a MONTH with them without ANY problems whatsoever. We had good hotels everywhere with some great ones. Remember Bangladesh is just developing their tourist industry. We got to see native villages by small boat, and the Sunderbans with our private ship was magnificent for 3 days--home cooked fresh food and a crew of 6 for just the 2 of us. You won't go wrong with Nijhoom Tours--honest, reliable, reasonable. We loved it and you will too.

I recently traveled with my husband and Nijhoom Tours for 30 days in January 2018. I was delighted by the services provided by Nijhoom Tours and have nothing but great words of praise for this tour company and its guides and drivers. Our guide was always forthcoming with answers about any political or social or current events questions we had. We are curious travelers who want to know how the rest of the world lives and thinks and prays and eats, etc. We were never disappointed by reticence. We often left the well-traveled tourist path at our request and never felt unsafe. We were treated to the REAL Bangladesh by our guide who knew his country well. My daughter, her friend and I booked the Rocket Steamer Tour in September this year. We all really enjoyed this tour with Nijhoom Tours. The guide, Nayeem, was very professional. We were impressed by his knowledge about all the different places we visited, and his English is also very good. I had been a bit anxious as I think it is not too common in Bangladesh for three ladies to travel on their own, but there was absolutely no situation where we would have felt unsafe or uncomfortable. Mr. Nayeem looked very well after us and made always sure that everything went well. He also took us to two good restaurants for lunch. We enjoyed the nice and fresh Bangladeshi food very much. I had known Liton, the driver who drove us around in Dhaka, from previous tours with Nijhoom. It's always a pleasure to meet him. He drove us safely through Dhaka and picked us up on time at the airport when we came back from Khulna. It's easy to communicate with him (his English is good), his manners are excellent and his big smile is an additional asset. The driver from Hularhat to Khulna and Jessore was a very good driver too. He drove not too fast and safely. As he did not speak any English, we communicated through our guide with him which was no problem at all. Although the roads are quite bad between Khulna and Jessore, the driver managed to drive us to the airport safely and in time. The tour itself was really nice. The rocket steamer is quite basic and might be a bit of a shock at first sight, but once you're on the boat, it is very nice. We even had AC in our cabins and the staff looked really well after us. And it's beautiful to wake up on the river and watch the landscape passing by. The sights we visited in Bagerhat surpassed my expectations and I was impressed by their beauty. The 60 dome mosque and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and well kept and I'm surprised that this area is not more known as a tourist spot. An added value was the drive through the beautiful landscape while visiting the different sightseeing places. I just love the views of green paddy fields, villages, small lakes and rivers. In Khulna, Nayeem took us to the fish market in the evening. This again, was a great experience, as the market is very lively and colourful. I was again very happy with Nijhoom's services. Everything went smoothly and in a friendly, professional way, from the planning and adjusting of the tour to our requests, to the booking, paying and the final tour itself.

We went on the Old Dhaka tour with our two children (ages 6 and 9) and my mother (62) who was visiting us in Dhaka. I was so impressed with the comfort and safety of the tour and the attentiveness of the guide who changed the tour as needed to suit our needs. He was wonderful playing with the kids, very knowledgeable, and dealt so well with all of the entrance to various places we visited and getting around (we live here and would never have been able to visit those places on our own, negotiating how to get around and gain entrance into places such as getting the closed Armenian church opened for us to see inside). We felt safe, well cared for, and had an amazing time. We highly encourage travel to Bangladesh and a tour with Nijhoom Tours!

I used Nijhoom Tours to organise 2 private day-trips in and around Dhaka. I really cannot say enough good things about my guide and driver - they were lovely people who really made my time in Bangladesh memorable and I am very grateful for all the out-of-the-way places they took time and pride in showing me. In 2013 I had two longer stays in Dhaka as a consultant. First time I had to find a company providing me with car and driver to facilitate conducting my duties. I found Nijhoom Tours, and Mr Hasan offering a reasonable price, reliable service, and experienced drivers. For the second stay there was no reason at all to check out competitors. I asked for and got the service from from my arrival to Dhaka until departure including airport drop off. No question that I will take the service again for my next stay. Arrived back in the UK this week after spending 22 days in Bangladesh with everything organised by Nijhoom Tours. Now Bangladesh does have some problems but don't let this put you off as we had no problems getting around and completing our holiday, You should be flexible though and you will find everyone very friendly and helpful. Hasan sorted everything and was flexible himself to our changes on route ! When we arrived at the ferry and it was not working Hasan soon had a speed boat set up and we continued are journey with hardly any delay, and at no extra cost! Hasan can sort out all of your problems for you, and right from the early stages of planning the trip he was there answering emails, but remember if he doesn't come back to straight away he could be on another trip to the Sunderbans without a phone signal!! I grew up in Bangladesh and have been all around the country including taking vistors to old Dhaka. Didn't think I'd get much out of a guided tour that my in-laws invited me to, but boy was I wrong. We had Opu as our guide and he was fantastic. Very easy going and knowledgeable, professional as can be with the arrangements. The old Dhaka tour he took us on is not for the faint-hearted, rather an immersive experience for the adventurous soul. A truly spectacular way to experience the city!

As a single woman I had a fantastic tour with Naeem to Old Dhaka and New Market. Safe, fun and laughter. Safe and secure, perfect tour. Come to visit Bangladesh a country still developing with great sites and few westerners yet to discover this friendly place.

We booked the 6 day Rocket and Sundarbans trip, which was a great success. Dhaka is a bustling city but for us the pleasure increased as we headed south and the 3 days spent on the boat in the mangrove swamps with only a few fisherman, wildlife and birds for company was a true experience. Faisal our tour guide and Ali our wildlife guide were both knowledgeable and good company, providing us with a lot of broader information about their country. We were extremely impressed with the agricultural systems based largely around fish farming and rice production. The quality, volume and variety of food on the boat in the Sundarbans was exceptional, particularly given how far we were from the nearest shop! Overall, a fascinating trip and very well organised. I can strongly recommend Nijhoom Tours.

Nijhoom Tours -The name sounds itself a quiet and calm journey for peace for both body and soul. I have the pleasure to ride with these people to couple of the remote places of Green Bangladesh.
