Take out facility and advance booking for sit is available. Parking facilities also species. Decent environment with neat and clean. Food quality and test are moderately okey. Food variety also available which includes chicken, beef, tandoori, grill. Price is medium compare to similar types of restaurant.

I love the smoked chicken sandwich. Coffee are good. Captain's world has moved to staff road near army stadium. Hope it will back to it's original location near Jahangir gate soon.

Their best food is nun & kabab/ tandoori chicken. Apart from that other foods are really flat. Okay as a family place But the decoration of the place is visually disturbing.

Captain’s World is a famous restaurant mainly for snacks. It is situated just beside the Jahangir gate of Dhaka Cantonment. Actually, it is a part of the CSD of the Bangladesh Army. They are providing quality food at a reasonable price. The environment is also good here with adequate sitting capacity.

Well, seems like they cut short their investments here. While it was in Jahangir gate, this used to be a place we'd have family night outs. It was so cosy, and gave off a family-like vibe. But now, that's just memories. This new location is congested, low on staffs, while the price is the usual.

Overpriced food, very little quantity and doesn't taste that great. It's just an average quality bakery/cafe with the price of a decent restaurant. We took a few set meals and this so called pizza. This pizza does look good but that's all. The pizza dough is nowhere close to a real pizza. They put cheap red sauce (the one you get at ' morer dokan' ) on this pizza not even tomato sauce. The set menu was served on disposable cups. The amount they give is lesser of an average rice bowl which you usually get at 99 TK but their prices are 360-380 tk. The only good thing was the waiter. He was really professional and helpful.

few days ago me along with my parents went there. We orderd 3 items. But 2 of them( Fried rice with fish) were a little bit less tasty. It seems like the fishes 🐟 were not cooked and fried properly. Although Captains is a popular restaurant for us, but they should maintain the quality.

Taste wise each item is overpriced, except the Butter Naan. The Butter Naan was priced BDT.80, and it was worthy... I was going to give it only one star as rating, but I increased a ⭐ because of the naan, and than the 3rd star came from the Beef Sheekh... They took 280 taka for the Beef Sheekh, and it was great in taste, and even the quantity was good enough, but it was DRY, dry as desert 🏜️... Then comes the Chicken Jhal Fry, the must AVOID item. We actually just went to this restaurant to try this item, because Chicken Jhal Fry was our favourite item from Kabab Ghar (Previous restaurant at this very place). They (Captain's World) made the quantity less (half, to be exact), and quality the worst. Just and ordinary children thick curry item, doesn't even give the homemade taste... Anyway, then ordered a Chocolate Milk Shake (at 180 taka) and 2 hot Coffee. Coffee was great in taste and hot, even the Chocolate Milk Shake was hot as well. Not exactly hot, but not cold as well. It was normal in temperature, should've been cold...

We were served with fresh food and speciality is they served French fries and special sauce with sandwiches which is amazing.

the quality of the food degraded after covid. nothing much to say. The nun was very hard and I could not tear it easily. the saslik had spices at the outer part of meat but was completely untouched in the inner parts. just like a boiled piece of meat wrapped with raw spices. absolutely terrible. i feel bad giving these kind of reviews but it would be a waste of money for some if i dont be honest. Their food was good before the pandemic started.

The cake tested very average. Price was 130 taka per slice. The chocolate they used was not rich enough. Some kind of local chocolate was used. Expected better.

Once considered one of the best place for hangout, now turned to a dirty place. Not quite happy with their ambient and service delivery. It took 30 minutes to deliver an order and the air conditioner was not working. Staff inside the restaurant were not attentive.

It is a nice and cozy restaurant placed beside the mohakhali highway. All types of fast food available. Food quality and price is ok but inside environment should be improved. Limited sitting space with lots of crowd.

This is newly established restaurant. Earlier it was Kebab house. This restaurant can barely kept the name of Captain,s world. Still better than many.... Foods served are good and tasty.. Car Parking available.

The food items (I ordered from the old kabab ghor menu) was good. Tasty. Price is also okay. But environment was not so appreciable. Sitting arrangement was really awkward. Specially the round table within a close door. Was feeling so uncomfortable. Position of the washroom was also awkward and it was not that clean. Hope, they will look into these issues.

The first floor was not comfortable enough because of the AC. The service and quality of food was good. The environment, comfort and timing of service should be further improved.

The Hariyali Chicken kabab looks so green that it is obvious they use food coloring. The beef tikka kabab was extremely dry. The chicken reshmi kabab had nothing reshmi in it. They are usually out of beef sheekh kabab by 7pm. I remember when Kabab Ghar was here, the food quality was top notch. Right now, the quality has been highly compromised. Sorry, but not coming back.

Run by army authority, a well organized food corner on the main road near Shaheen school on the left side of Jahangir gate of Dhaka Cantonment. Long and spacious, two storied, you can sit and eat. You can also take home. Has fresh kitchen section with varieties of dish on chicken, beef, tandoori, grill. Has backery section and sweets. Fresh food, tasty. Smart service, helpful people. Can easily park your car and dine.

The place lacks the level of poshness anyone expects and the outer look of the restaurant shows. The menu does not resemble to any classy restaurant and the food quality/taste is somewhat good. One goods thing is every item they have contains the supplementary items. Like the tanduri chicken that cost 240 bdt includes 1/2 of a Nun. Orange juice was good. Waiter guys were not very responsive and overall the environment was very loud.

For me , 2 year ago it tested better. Now maybe it's not that good like it used to be.
