Well if you have been to the previous Ohana at Dhanmondi 06 with an open to sky court, you'll be disappointed to see the new place. It's completely indoor restaurant now. AMBIANCE: Ship interior. Not a big space. Sufficient seating arrangements though. FOOD: Pretty good. RECOMMENDATION: Worth a try!

We can not decide which items we will choice ,so take a help of the restaurant's some one ,so do I. 1.Kai bowl,seafood ,rice and mixed vegetables,quite good for one person Price 499/- 9 out of 10 . 2.Seafood Cocktail,mixture of different seafood with a little bit of spice and starfry maybe. Good in taste Price 700/- 8 out of 10. 3.Spicy Octopus🐙,totally different in taste with a lot of spice love the combination. We like the dish. Price 350/- 10 out of 10 As drinks,We take 2 options 1.Classic Mojito, average in taste. Price 200/- 7out of 10. 2.Lemon cola ,totally different ,we order 2 grasses. Price 160/- 10 out of 10. Ambience and decorations is so wellcoming,We totally forget but the tiredness.

Food tasted good enough and fresh. Service was also cordial. Quantity should be improved. Continuous talking in the billing staff's desk was an annoyance.

The Octopus is disgusting. I do not know why it has such great reviews. The only boil the Octopus and marinate in a basic tomato sauce that only worsens the taste. This is Bangladesh, you can not expect people to eat raw mollusks that comes out of a fridge. It was like rubber, extremely hard to chew and swallow. It also had a bad smell. On top of that, it was not cleaned properly. Really, a complete waste of money. The staffs were cordial and the place is cozy. I liked their King Prawns. I did not get a chance to notify staffs about the distasteful octopus as my friend got an allergic reaction by eating it and I had to rush to hospital. I hope Ohana Diner will grill their octopus and work on their sauce to be more fragrant and tasty.

Tasty and quality food with great ambience and great service. We tried 'Red Snapper Sumahara' and 'Creamy Seashells Bowl'. Both were very yummy!

It's Located at Dhanmondi 27, Dhaka. Known as a seafood restaurant. We went there on the 27th July. We Had Octopus, Cream Mushroom Soup, Squid and Rice. The octopus tasted great but the squid was not so good. The ingredients were relatively low compared to the price of rice. The dish also came with two small pieces of garlic bread which were flavourful but a bit hard. . CELEBRATION PLATTER - (Recommended) A large platter that came with a well-cooked and tender whole grilled squid, crispy fried dory strips, sauteed mushrooms & vegetables, fried rice and soft drinks. A large meal that can be easily shared by 2 people on a budget. . BLUE MUSSELS WITH SPAGHETTI - This was more of an experimental choice as I wanted to see how mussels would pair with spaghetti. Wonderful place with quality food. Taste was also good. Food is yumm, if you're a seafood lover like crabe, dorry fish etc. you should try.Crabe item was fine.But, Glazed chicken contained too much sweet with dry chilli, felt bad in my appetite.Good manner from stuff and provide well food. The ambience and presentation is good. The space is not so wide, enough place to seat, the decoration is good, decorated with lots of greenery by indoor plants, and good lighting.

Ordered Cream of mashroom soup, Hawaiian seafood salad, whole grilled squid, suicide octopus (500g), Moana punch, soda with lime. Soup and salad were good. Comparing to the amount and taste, Squid and octopus seemed overpriced. Also we ordered large (500g) octopus, but it didn’t look like a 500g one. Soda with lime was just a Schweppes can with a lemon and a syrup given separately. Items were a bit overpriced.

I tried octopus for the very first time. We have ordered through Foodpanda to get 25% vat but when i went there, it was raining a lot so i sat down to eat at their restaurant. They asked me to pay extra 10% VAT. But the fun fact is the smell of the octopus was not good. But the octopus was rubbery. It was delicious. And the sauce was to good. One of the newest but good sea food restaurant in Dhaka. Food quality is good. Price is reasonable. The restaurant based 95% on sea food. If you are a sea food lover, then you can try it. I found it little bit different from other sea food restaurants. Location is good but there is no authorized car parking area. Decoration of the restaurant is fascinating.

Good place for seafoods enthusiastic. #Ohanadiner will surprise one with ample options. All of the fried options are better than curry/gravy options. We did tried two platters which are average and serving quantity is small compared to the price. Prawn fried options are delicious. Chef was kind and come to check about our feedbacks. However, waiters seemed untrained and making too much noises inside the restaurant. Also, toilet knob was broken which unmatched for a fine dine like this restaurant.

I know the place since its used to be Jolly Rogers. However, the decor is same as before but the food is really good. But if you are sitting inside the restaurant then there is no privacy. Staffs always stares at you, talk loudly and too insisting to order as per their choice. We ordered Soup and Onion rings. The taste of the soup is good but the veggies are little undercooked. The onion rings was horrible.

One of the famous seafood hub in dhaka. The decoration and atmosphere were soo good. They served complementary potato wedges. Most of their food is served with BBQ sos. That's why I think some item lost their real taste. But foods are good enough. Price of most items is high. If you want to get costly seafood, then this place is recommended to you.

Will go back there again for the soup and order may be muscles or lobster. Those items look promising in the menu. *PLACE* - the place is good. After entering the restaurant through a narrow passage that gives you an old destroyed ship vibe you suddenly discover an open space and we do appreciate open spaces. The place has a pirate theme for some reason . I would say I kinda liked it. There's no parking space. Recommended? Okay, you can try but keep these things in mind. No parking , no masks from waiters , over priced, extra service charge but good food and a good place to hang out.

Their foods are awesome. If you like sea foods, you should definitely visit there. Ordered their Tiger king with wedges, seafood rice and sautéed mushrooms. All the foods were very tasty, specially the seafood rice. The interior was also well decorated.

Very nice ambiance. The interior is well decorated to reflect the theme of a sea-side shack. Sitting arrangement is also spacious. Food prices might seem a bit overpriced but is worth for the taste. We ordered the assorted seafood soup which was amazing. The rice set was okay. Dory was a bit too spicy for my taste but they told us to mention our spice level preferences in the future. We also got the main dish before the soup. Would love to go again for the special soup, the soft ice-cream and the interior itself.

I have never ate this much bad food in my life. Seafood were not fresh for which they smell pretty bad after taking my 1st spoon. I couldn't dare taking 2nd one . I m talking about their sailor platter. Seafood soup and seafood rice were too much spicy to eat. Prices was high enough against their food quality . Don't waste time and money as I will not do 2nd time by going there. Their food were not 1 star rated .

Tucked away behind state university. Inside it feels like a seafood place, calm and quiet. Owner is a very nice lady. After having the food I felt like I want to sit there and relax. Last but not least the octopus was superb.

It was great to have a quality Sea food restaurant at Dhaka city. They have tried to give a pirate look to the restaurant with decoration. I have ordered an Octoous which they named as "Suicide Octopus" and Onion Rings. Taste of the food was good though it was little bit spicy. Cool place. Washroom facility is available. They are opened from 12: 00 PM to 11:00 PM everyday. They have also some other sea food like squid, shell, prown etc. Behavior is good and they takes order for home delivery. Would like to go again.

Octopus was hyped and ketchup masked the taste. If you ask them they'll give you a raw version. But I think ketchup is for a very good reason. If you smell closely, octopus smells horrible. Lobster was great.
