The doctor is one of the best in our country, no doubt. My mother underwent a successful surgery here and is now recovering. But the administrative processes are not so smooth here. Appointment, surgery and dressing schedules are not properly followed. One day a patient arrived at 930 pm as instructed by the doctor for appointment but the doctor had already left by then. This is so disappointing for anyone. My suggestions to new patients would be - 1. Ask as many questions to the stuffs and doctors/nurses so that you have enough info. at your hand. 2. Try to arrive at least 30 mins. earlier for your appointment as they do not follow the schedules strictly. 3. Most surgeries are not executed on the time given earlier. So be prepared for that. 4. After surgery, most nurses/cleaning stuffs would demand tips from you. If you want excellent service from them during your stay, tip them well. Otherwise they would delay their regular duty. 5. Try to get all necessary things you need for your stay immediately after admitting the patient. Otherwise they will delay in providing those.

I was in that hospital for my hemorrhoid. I showed my problem to Dr.AKM fazlul haque, a renowned collorectal specialist. He is so busy to check and do DRE carefully. Overall the hospital structure is not so good but their ward and cabin rent is higher than any other hospital like United, Square. Their infrastructure and cleanliness needs more attention.

Although Dr. AK Fazlul Haque is a renowned doctor, the fees for various operations is high. Besides the indoor space in the hospital is a bit small considering lot of patients come for treatment. Besides the washrooms should be made better and comfortable for patients. Overall the hospital's service is not up to the mark. I think it is mainly running due to having chamber of this famous doctor. I would say if you feel the fees for surgery is high, talk to the doctor DIRECTLY. Dr. Fazlul Haque appreciates that patients talk to him directly regarding monetary issues. There are some staffs of hospital who will suggest you various things to cut down your cost, but do what the doctor says and you will recover inshallah. I have been admitted for my operation on last Sunday (4th feb'18) and my experience about Dr AKM Fazlul Haque was good but the environment and Service was too much bad. - When my operations was completed then I entered in the room and found nothing to fell good like - No sleepers,, No glass to get water, even no water as well. I have to ask for every single issue to different person their. - My AC ,not worked properly - - Finally charge was high but I am bound for treatment. The worst experience I had was there. My dad had operation here. No post operative support was given. My dad could not urinate after surgery. Telling this multiple times they did not care.
