The only government hospital in Bangladesh where I didn't feel like that, I was in a government hospital. For the first time in my life, I did not feel that I had come to a government hospital for treatment. At the right time, I received my services in a systematic way. In a single word, the atmosphere of the hospital is amazing. Any patient should actually be treated in such a wonderful environment. The hospital is a short distance from the main road of Kuril Biswaroad. You have to walk this way to get to the hospital, that way is really amazing. This is the first time I have not been harassed to get services and cabins at a government hospital. Here you will find highly qualified doctors for all types of medical services. Excellent treatment for outdoor and admitted patients. And it is not a matter of paying extra for good treatment here, you will get all kinds of medical services here at a much lower cost like other government hospitals. Needless to say, usually no one ever goes to the hospital to take pictures. But the thing here is different, you will see everyone taking pictures seeing such a beautiful environment. The quality of service of every hospital in Bangladesh should be the same as this hospital, where people can get good medical services in a beautiful environment, systematically, without broker and harassment. There is a written on the hospital gate that says "open to the public", its actually true.

Kurmitola General Hospital is a very large and reputed government hospital. A little further inland from the main road but the road and environment to the hospital is very nice and clean. This hospital basically has 500 beds so many people call it Kurmitola 500 bed hospital. The hospital lobby is very large and tidy, wheelchair accessibility is a must. All types of treatment are done and the cost is very low. Corona unit is here and corona vaccine is also given!!!

Kurmitola General Hospital’s construction work had started in the year 2004 and completed 2011. It was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Hasina, The Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh on 13 May 2012. This hospital started out door service in 12 November, 2012 and indoor service in 16 June 2013. The objectives of this hospital, to provide medical treatment for all citizens of the country, to provide emergency and life saving treatment to the road traffic accident victims of the nearby area, provide “on job training’’ to the internees and practical training to the cadets of AFMC and AFMI. It acts as the teaching hospital for Armed forces medical college.

Hospital Review: Hospital Name: Kurmitola General Hospital Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh As a recent patient at Kurmitola General Hospital, I would like to share my short review. 1. Facilities: The facilities at Kurmitola General Hospital were basic and could use improvement. The hospital was crowded with limited space in patient rooms and waiting areas. The beds were not very comfortable, and the amenities were minimal. The parking facilities were also limited, which caused inconvenience for visitors. 2. Staff: The staff at Kurmitola General Hospital were friendly and tried their best to provide care, but the hospital appeared to be understaffed. There were long wait times for appointments, and the nurses and doctors seemed overwhelmed with their workload. The communication with the staff was somewhat challenging due to language barriers, which made it difficult to fully understand my diagnosis and treatment plan. 3. Medical Care: The medical care I received at Kurmitola General Hospital was average. The hospital had basic medical equipment, but some advanced facilities and technologies were lacking. The doctors seemed knowledgeable, but the waiting times for tests and results were often lengthy. The infection control protocols could also be improved. 4. Communication: The communication at Kurmitola General Hospital was a bit challenging. There were language barriers, and the information about my diagnosis, treatment plan, and progress was not always clearly explained. There were also delays in receiving updates and test results, which caused confusion and frustration. 5. Cleanliness and Safety: The cleanliness and safety standards at Kurmitola General Hospital were satisfactory but could be better. The hospital appeared crowded and could benefit from improved cleanliness in patient rooms and common areas. The safety protocols, such as identification checks and medication administration, were followed, but there were some lapses in maintaining a fully safe environment. 6. Billing and Administration: The billing and administration processes at Kurmitola General Hospital were average. The billing staff were helpful in providing information about charges, but there were some discrepancies in the final bill. The insurance processing took time, and the overall billing experience could be more transparent. In conclusion, my experience at Kurmitola General Hospital was average. The facilities were basic, the staff were friendly but appeared overwhelmed, the medical care was average, communication was challenging due to language barriers, cleanliness and safety could be improved, and the billing and administration processes were average. There is room for improvement in various aspects of the hospital's services.

Kurmitola General Hospital is located in the heart of Dhaka. It is situated in a very beautiful and picturesque environment on Airport Road in the North East side of Dhaka Cantonment. People can come here by public transport. It is possible to reach any important place in Dhaka by public transport from the front of this hospital. This hospital is always very clean. There is wheelchair access. This hospital has good parking facilities for cars and motorcycles. The medical service of this hospital is very good. It is one of the best government hospitals in Bangladesh. There is no corruption and brokers so common patients are not cheated when they come to seek medical care. Here treatment is completely free and even all types of surgeries and medicines are free. If general patients are admitted, their food is also free. Finally in one word it can be said that it is the best government hospital in Bangladesh because it is completely managed by Bangladesh Army.

Ambulance service by calling 999. My wife was admitted to the emergency department Then via elevator 7 from the emergency department I went to the final service room and saw that the doctor and nurse were not there.. But Ansar members were doing regular duty I am sitting with unconscious patient for about an hour then a nurse came first said there is no doctor here.. it was 3:05 in the night... I said then why are we admitted from the emergency department and admitted here for two to three hours why are we wasting our time. done In response, he said that the service here is like this, take him to a good hospital My question is that the government is giving everything to the employees, officers, doctors, nurses.. but the people are not getting the services at night when they are sleeping at home on duty So I would request everyone if your relatives are sick then never take Kurmitola General Mitil. 500 rupees fine if placed in wheel chair by mistake In the last stage you will see that there is no doctor

Today, I went to Kurmitola General Hospital with my mother. After getting the ticket from the ground floor, both of us went to the 2nd floor and waited for the doctor to call us. After receiving a call from the doctor, both my mom and I entered the chamber. Upon entering the room, we had to wait for an additional 10 minutes because the honorable doctor was busy talking about his life and salary with two other assistants who were in the room. After this lengthy wait, he (the doctor) finally asked about my issue, but he didn't even examine my mouth or inquire about my condition (I have a canker sore). Following this, he instructed us to take some free medicines from the hospital. When we went to collect the medications, we noticed that the doctor was engrossed in conversation with other people in the chamber. After repeatedly calling out to him, he responded by waving his hand, indicating that he wanted the prescription paper. Upon seeing the names of the medicines, he handed us two of them and literally threw them on the ground. My mom asked him why he did that, and he told her to leave. This behavior was unprofessional and rude, and unfortunately, I believe it's quite common. I hope the hospital administration addresses these issues and the behavior of their staff. Hope those staff will learn manners and treat everyone right. it would be great if you guys take proper action . note : The guy in the picture is the same person who was at the medicine serving chamber and the one who exhibited rude behavior by throwing the medicines.

The best government hospital I have seen in Bangladesh. Beautiful clean clean environment. Beautiful rules discipline them. Treat the patient nicely. They are very caring towards the patient, they give the medicine to the patient on time, they see the patient for only 10 taka and they give corona treatment for only 25 taka. In a word, they are the best
