They serves variety of cuisines with hundreds plus items. Most of the items are very tasty. Restaurant ambiance is nice. The staffs are very helpful and polite. We like their hospitality and visit often.

Mouth-watering dishes, breathtaking ambience!! Costing: Lunch 5000 Tk/person, dinner 5900 Tk/person. Different credit and debit card have buy 1 get 1 offer. Check their website for your cards opportunity. What else could you wish for? 200+ items, most of them are outstanding in taste and presentation. Chefs preparing live grills of prawns, beef steak and chicken steak. On the side, margherita pizza slices was waiting to have a bite. First, you can start with sushi, shashimi (Don't forget to take soya sauce and wasabi!!). After that move on to salad items and other different items that is just beside the salad items. Then move on to the steak section. Take a couple of beef steak, a 3-4 pieces of king prawns and a slice of pizza will be your next dish. I disn't checked the bread items!! Next a must try item and the one and only mutton item (mutton biriyani). My wife recommended this dish and she said its a must try. Move on to the next part and try Lamb ouzi. Don't forget to take the full leg, its soft, delicious and full of unknown spices. Next is the dessert section. We tried almost everything. There is ice cream too. Do not forget to take some fresh fruits. It will help you to digest properly. Shortcomings!! Only two soup items? Thai soup should be there. Pomfret grill. I missed that. I could not find juice and coffee options either. At least a single menu drink menu should be added. Staffs were helpful and cordial. Refills were made without any delay.

Fine dining inside Intercontinental. Foods, staffs, interior are great. Like other top hotels the per person buffet price (6,500-8,000 BDT) is as usual at the higher end. It seems fair if you can avail B1G2 or B1G3 offer. Perfect place for corporate dining or special occasions.

This is the oldest 5 star hotels of Bangladesh. It serves good food. I often attend business lunches or dinners organized by my organization or other organizations. Well decorated hotel provide good services. Price of food is obviously high but the hotel sometimes offer discounts like B1G1. It has plenty of parking areas.

We went here for the dinner buffet. When we went they had an Italian cuisine night going on. The buffet had a good spread, spread across a nice decorative area. The dessert section was especially great, hosting a great variety of delicious treats. The service was good. One downside though, although they were charging a hefty amount, there were no beverages included in the pricing, like not even something simple as juice, which seemed a bit cheap in my opinion. The ambiance was good. This is probably one of the better buffets in town, in the considerate price range.

There are other hotels far better food than this one. The only item that I liked was sushi. Other items were below average, including the desert dishes. Fishes were not fresh at all. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed.

The food was great! A lot of varieties. Everyday they emphasize on a specific cuisine. Today it was Mediterranean cuisine. There were falafels, date (a fruit) based deserts and many other dishes. There were also pizzas and pastas for Italian lovers. Overall the food was amazing. The chefs were well trained and it was amusing to see them cook. The safety protocol was amazing, if you didn't have a mask, they would provide one and would remind you to put it on while choosing your dish. The WiFi was complementary and super high speed. They support 5G. Overall I would give it a 10/10. The price was reasonable too. A disappointing thing was that they don't have any historical monuments or anything like that. I think that, as they're the first 5 star hotel in Bangladesh, they should have Bangladesh's cultural heritage for the foreigners to see. Another bad thing was that, alcohol was in hindsight and not hidden from public areas. ( I'm saying this because children go there too). The last con is that, they allow smoking outdoors and don't have any special area for it. So, when I was chilling by the pool, I immediately had to leave because of the disgusting smell of smoke.

Overall, food tasted great. Really loved their live grill station corner and dessert offerings. Servings in the pan asian corner were bit bland though. But it was the ambience and service that quadrupled the satisfaction. Special thanks to Mr. Moniruzzaman for his amazing hospitality. Recommended to anyone craving for a quality buffet. BOGO available on multiple cards including but not limited to AMEX (Platinum, Gold), SCB(Signature, Platinum).

The buffet is good. Enough dishes from salad till desert - all are good. The live Steak are obvious to take. Nice sitting arrangements. The price is high but ok. Availing any BOGO or any other offer will be better.

Just awful. Apart from the desert section, the food was pathetic. Cold, dry, and some of the items were outright stale. I have no idea how on earth they are still operational. Does the hotel management never perform or assess qc? When you're charging this much money there is not a single reason for the food to be this bad. I hope they improve their food. One of the worst food experience of my life.
