Hospital is very neat & clean than any other private hospital. Doctors & nurses are well behaved & responsive. But one thing bothers me, what ever sickness you have they suggest you to get admitted first, then gives you big list of test, checkup schedules etc. for these your daily bill will cross approximately 10k-15k. This is too much for patient’s checkup bills than any extra post surgery or operation bills. PLEASE check other doctors before you take big steps.

Ibn-sina medical college and hospital. It's a very big hospital. Now it has all facilities including all kinds of diagnosis and tests. Testing and treatment charge is cheaper than other private hospitals. It has canteen, mosque, pharmacy and a homeo treatment section as well. Doctors are also very helpful here.

Especially my parents have been receiving treatment from Dr. Shamsuzzaman sir since 2007-8. Besides, the doctors in other departments are also good, Alhamdulillah.

Ibn Sina Medical College and Hospital is one of the best Hospital in Dhaka city. Their service within affordable treatment cost is best in our country. Doctor, nurse & others stuff are also friendly with patient. Though I think in BD we've to change & improve the service & behaviour of a Hospital management. If you compare with indian hospital management, till we've limitation. But compare to others hospital Ibn Sina is better. It’s not up to the mark, but relatively good. Moreover no extra diagnosis. Diagnosis cost also 25-35% off for the patient as the never provide any commission to the doctors. This good practice achieve the trust of the patient very much.

It's a nice place when you search for hospital in BD. Can be availed 4 star in terms of quality of treatment and the cost of hospitalization or treatment. But some area resist me to put 4 star here as still the Medical need more improvement like manner to patient, humble towards others, professionalism, time management and overall hospital area. Lets me elaborate in details, when I lastly visit here, I was thirsty and finding their canteen. At last when I find the canteen there is no people to serve me, the time is almost 10:00 pm. I was waiting here for 5 mins but did not find anybody to take his responsibility. Yeah, I know if I am so thirsty why I was not asking anybody for water as this should be available anywhere of a place where people lived. But I would like to buy it from their canteen as I also need to buy sometimes here. However after did not find anybody I go to their hospital building to proceed test after visiting doctor and see there a small food shop where a staff was cleaning the area, asked him for water and the answer is its already closed. So Couldn't find bottle water here. Now if we look the staff who are really busy with huge workload in front section, test billing section, drug selling secton, blood collection section and report delivery section where some of them need to be more professional as some times found them to gossip with other colleagues rather than serving people. Obviously you can discuss with your colleagues to make the work place more comfortable for you but should serve your in front person first rather than showing lesscarelessness to him. I am hoping for 5star from the staffs engaged here as these area are only can be treated by human behaviour only. I did not hospitalized here so don't know what's their inner staffs condition. Waiting to visit doctor make you bored as it taakes huge time to wait due to poor time management system where it can be improved to 15/20 mins by informing patient to visit on different slot rather than waiting for 1.5 to 2 hrs some time. But the most common waiting so far 45 to 60 mins on base of patient availability. Hospitals area are bit narrower due to huge patients are gathered here compare to their capacity. The cost is bit less here compare to other private medical in BD. Wheel chair accessibility and parking area is available here. You can visit this hospital when you really need it as it is bit econominal.

I had a bad experience when I came to see the patient. I saw the dermatologist. I did not see the patient well. He gave me a test of Rs. 7000-8000. I went to the pharmacy with a prescription of Rs. 8000. The bill is coming to the pharmacy. We both have the same problem. Allergy problem. I took the medicine for a week but the small amount of allergy did not reduce. When I call the phone numbers given on the prescription, no one answers the call.
