A very old landmark in Armanitola. The old tree had died due to a chemical spill, and the locals then planted a new banyan tree in its place. Often a traffic packed place due to numerous transport agencies in the area.

At present, it is one of the most crowded and busy places in Old Dhaka. This place is famous for the famous sports and cultural club "Usha Krida Chakra" of Old Dhaka. This place is also very well known for its logistics services. There are some shops and tea stalls. This place is surrounded by Mitford Hospital, Armanitola Playground (Sir Salimullah Medical College Playground), Armanitola Church, Mosque and Buriganga Setu 2 (Babubazar Bazar Pakhi).

Past is bright, Present is nothing. This place has a bright story. Many Business run under this tree. But at present there is no Banyan tree in this place. But the place is markable. Some ancient building are surrounded this tree.

Very much rushed area with heavy traffic. Once upon a time the Armanitola Botgach was very popular. It is a very over populated area of puran Dhaka. I like this place very much.

Nothing special. As usual narrow roads, huge traffic. But this place is well known to the native citizen.
