Very famous for their breakfast & Evening meal (nasta). Since 1958 they have been selling sweets & "nasta". They have a variety of sweets that are famous among the locals. But i just loved their Halva/Halwa. The taste was really good, which is mixed in the mouth & balance sweet level. This was the best halwa I have ever eaten. Must try their halwa with paratha/luchi.

Had a good experience here...This sweet shop is almost 60+years old and has a traditional style...you can have a great breakfast here in a cheap rate but the food taste is really good...The famous items of here ia halwa,sabji,chanar amitti,sondesh etc...

A old and traditional sweet shop in town. The shop is full packed in the morning for breakfast meal. They sell Luchi, Parata, mix vegetables, dal, haluya and different type of sweets all day long. They also sell lunch items like Vat, meat and Khichuri. I was recommended to test their Haluya and test is so delicious. Recommended to test mix vegetables and Chanar Amitti.

This is very renown and the oldest restaurant in motijheel area. They serve very taste food item: Porata>8tk per pcs, Mixed Vegetables>20tk, Haluya>20tk. Others items are also reasonable prices. But restaurant environment is not neat and clean. Recommended.

Food was good. Food quality is also good. They are well known sweet Maker of Bangladesh. Their price range a bit high but I guess it's worthy. You can eat porota, vhaji, Halua all day long here and it's delicious too.

Once upon a time, it was famous for it's breakfast item like Parota with delicious vegetables curry and various items of sweet, for lunch & dinner one could enjoy various kinds of fishes and tasty vegetable recipes. Moreover, it was aso good for it's fruitful service. But now-a-days, The taste of food with service is going down gradually. Most of the efficient staffs are absent being aged.

It is one of the oldest sweet shops in Dhaka city. Located at Motijheel Office Area (Ittefaq Junction). Previously, breakfast in this shop was very popular. Especially parota-bhaji and rasgolla had a lot of taste. However, the taste and quality of food is deteriorating day by day.

Tried this branch to give a try to their famous parata vaji. But this time also i didn’t find it to be that much tasty as much as I heard about them. However, their sweet Yogurt was good. I liked it.

A historical place. Very old restaurant in dhaka city! Since 1958 they serve "ParaTha vhaji" and halua. Very Memorial person eat here. Old days they sell famous paratha vhaji in dhaka city, but nowadays quality is poor.

Very high price, but quality was very low. A chicken pieces price was 110 taka, but not good by test, quality and quantity. The place was very dirty.

It's one of the oldest restaurant in Dhaka which is quite underrated but those who knows this place always long for their hawla & mixed vegetables which unparalleled to any. They are open from the very early hours of the day till night. The price very very reasonable at this age of price hike.

Paratha and sabji were worth mentioning cinsidering their taste. Its an old hotel in the city. Dont forget to try yoghurt here.

It is Located near Hathkhola, opposite of old Ittefaq Bhaban, Deshbandhu is an all day breakfast shop that opened in 1958. The place is renowned for its breakfast items and afternoon snacks. Paratha-bhaji (local bread & vegetables)is sold here all day long. The vegetable is actually very good but it’s normally a bit dark. The sweet items are worth trying.

One of the oldest hotel in Dhaka. Still unbeaten hotet for taking breakfast. Haluwa is the best item in this hotel and best haluwa in Dhaka. Vegetable is good enough. Many servant holders of Motijheel commercial area come here to take their breakfast regular. One bad thing : this holet's atmosphere is not good. So decrepit... Hope this hotel authority will improve this lack.
