A
nice
peaceful
spot
in
a
crowded
city.
Spent
a
good
portion
of
my
university
life
sitting
by
the
side
of
this
pond.
With
the
interesting
mughal
inspired
colonial
architecture
of
the
residence
halls
surrounding
this
pond
it
makes
for
a
good
place
to
sit
and
get
your
thoughts
in
shape.
The
pond
also
has
some
mystery
and
lore
around
it.
For
some
reason
there
has
been
numerous
drowning
at
the
pond
over
the
years
(and
it
probably
predates
the
1921
buildings
around
it).
There
is
a
marble
plaque
on
the
western
side
that
tells
of
a
drowning
sometime
in
the
30s.
Even
when
I
was
at
the
university
there
were
several
drownings.
The
common
story
everyone
hears
from
survivors
is
that
there
is
something
that
pulls
the
swimmer
down!
Worth
a
visit
:)
