Built-in the later years of the 20th century by the revered Buddhist religious head Kochen Rinpoche, Buddha Temple in Dehradun is a magnificent Tibetan Monastery and is also known as Mindrolling Monastery. It was built not only to safeguard the religious and cultural sentiments of the Buddhists but also to promote the same. The Temple is essentially a built-in Japanese architecture style on a highland in the Doon Valley. The view from the top is simply mesmerizing. If you wish to enjoy complete greenery, you must visit Dehradun Buddhist Temple. Around the Buddha Temple in Dehradun, you will also find a number of shops, restaurants, and other public places. You may take a walk and explore these places on your own when you are here. There is also a public book shop here where you will find that most of the books are written in the Tibetan language. A large number of books are meant for sale by a Tibetan community in the surrounding area.

Amazing place you should visit it in the evening. It has a very clam feel to it. Parking is 30rs for car. And if you want to go inside the temple you need to pay very little amount for your shoes. There is canteen and shop also from where you can buy Tibetan stuff and eat refreshments. Its a very nice place to just seat quietly and relax.

A wonderful place to spend your evenings, the Buddha Temple is ome the most iconic places in Dehradun, situated near Graphic Era University. The atmosphere is divine, premises is huge & well maintained, the locals are really very sweet and welcoming, it truly justifies the Tibetan culture. A small Tibetan market is also under this premises. Must visit this amazing Monastery to feel it's divine atmosphere & Tibetan hospitality.

A very calm and peaceful place to visit while one is in Dehradun.. Its a few kms from Dehradun city. The place is appealing to the eyes with a giant statue of lord Buddha. One can feel the chilling cold winds here when visited during winters.

    - A must visit place of u r in Dehradun and are a peace lover. - Opening timings are 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM. All 7 days of the week. - The stupa room opens till 5:00 PM only upto second floor. - All above floors opens only on two days of the year i.e. on Guru Purnima and Buddh Purnima. - This place has no entry ticket. - This place has no entry restrictions. - This place has paid parking available at normal prices i.e. โ‚น20 for two wheelers and maybe โ‚น50 for four wheelers. - This place has free restrooms available. - This place is litter free neat and clean. - There is a small complex for having some snacks or food. - There are shops in the complex to buy any Soveniur for home and friends etc. - It can be easily spotted through google maps. - Sometimes the way to the temple can be crowdy due to university area. - overall a best and must visit place in dehradun if u are an explorer and peaceful environment lover.

The Buddha temple in Clement town is one of the best attractions in that place. You must pay your visit to this temple. If you want a calm and peaceful environment then this place is a good option for sure, there is no charges or tickets for visiting here. You can have a great time here, along with that there are various restaurants and public facilities are also available. And it's nearby to the Buddha Stupa as well so you can visit here once you visit there. I hope my reviews help you.

It's a beautiful Tibetan monastery, peaceful and calm and due to this it's one of my favourite places to visit in dehradun. The area is surrounded by some small cafes where you can try some good Tibetan food(my recommendation:laphing/momos). There are also some small shops where you can buy souvenirs. You can enjoy this place with your family and friends โค๏ธ

A great place to visit when you need solace in your life. Gives you inner peace as most temples do. I'll recommend going after 3-4pm(manage according to the sunlight) as you'll get enough time to explore and the weather is also good at that time.

This place is very peaceful and beautiful. Here you can find a lot of sitting spaces where you can sit peacefully and enjoy the sunrise and sunset in the morning and evening. Once you come here you can literally feel the positive energy. Some shops and canteens are also present. If you want to know about Buddhism then it can be one of the best places in Dehradun. It has already become one of my favourite places.

If your are visiting Dehradun, add Budhha temple in your bucket list. Budhha temple monastery in a sprawling area which is very well-maintained with lovely gardens outside. The main temple has statues of Lord Buddha, all gold-plated and on the other side one big statue which is pretty high. They all look majestic and yet full of compassion. A pity that so many people treat this as a mere tourist spot instead of revering it and maintaining silence to allow others to meditate and pray.

Peaceful place, enchanting, beautiful ambiance. Must go there if you want to spend peaceful time & also see dehradun from heights.Lord buddha temple, religious place, greenery all around. You can also buy religious stuff from the shops which is inside the temple area. You can also meet monks to know about temple stories. Amazing place Go there with your family & friends to cherish the holiness. Whenever I feel low & sad I go there for peace of mind, I have seen every time happy happy faces of kids around. Temple area is quite large because of this kids feel good to play inside temple park.
