Birsa Munda Park is the center of attraction for people of every class of Dhanbad.Whether it is children or elders or talking about loving couples 😜🤗 Lots of swings and open ground for kids to play . Can be a very good place for elders for morning and evening walk with pleasant and nature . Complete arrangement of privacy has been done for Lover also from the management side 😁😁😁 But the worst thing about this park is that here you will see only couples. I have seen the actions of some people and will force me to think twice the next time I come to this park with my family and small children. It will be requested from the management that a little care should be taken, otherwise separate arrangements should be made for lover point in this park. 😅😀 Ticket price is Rs.25 🎟️per person. Birsa Munda park is a beautiful place in Dhanbad, where one can spend half-day easily in a peaceful and pleasure natural environment. There are fun games, jhoola for kids. Even elders also enjoy. The park beautification is also good. The lawn are beats and clean. There is a small restraurent also inside the campus. Parking facility is also. Overall it is a good place to enjoy.

Birsa Munda Park is the only park in Dhanbad and it is counted among the attractive placesnearby which attracts people from all age groups. It has walkway, leisure area, play area, toy train, various rides for children, canteen and plants of different species spread over 21 acres of land. It was opened in the month of November 2009. Charges Adult- INR 25 per adult. Children- Free (not charged upto the age of 5)

Gradually we can see some developments in park. But DMC is not taking care of this as it should be. Washrooms are in bad and dirty conditions.most of the swings are broken. If administrations would take care of this park, it can become one of the best visiting places of Dhanbad.

Fantastic park in the barwwada road. I visited for fun I see all things are good management but some places I see need to improve like bhul - bhulaiya Walls 🧱 are broken and do not cleaning 🧹. Place is good. Though post COVID, maintenance is bit lagging, but otherwise it's a good place. This even have Kaju Garden named as Sheetanshu Kaju Garden, established and maintained by Rotary Club of Dhanbad Midtown.

We came to the park at 6:30 am from Railway station to spend some time here. Although the entering time shown on the internet is 6am to 8am, the park authority arrogantly forbade us to enter, which was extremely depressing. This is not expected from a public park. I would never visit this park because of it's rubbish management. I would have given negative stars but unfortunately there is no such option.

We reached a little late around 5:45 pm at sundown .. got entry tickets for Rs. 25 per head .. the park is averagely maintaned .. there is a big lawn in the middle with sitting areas and swings on one side .. there is greenery in abundance .. For children, there are different rides for entertainment on another side .. they will enjoy those .. there is a toy train which was not working when we went .. there are food stalls for refreshments also .. Couldn't click good photos due to very low light conditions

I visited in October last week. Perhaps it's off season, which otherwise see flood of visitors during weekends. The park is a nice option for the city people for a short family outing. There are a few amusement provisions for the kids. Nevertheless, sorry to say that existing facilities are neither well maintained nor new added. Some of them are rusty, while others are in disuse. The toilet facility is available but there no maintenance, which leads very unhygienic conditions. It would been great if administration give attention to proper maintenance and upgradation of existing facilities for the benefit of a rapidly growing urban population in this coal city.

An open lawn can also be booked for a group outing or party. Family picnic is a good option here. Especially for kids, it has a toy train, jumping trampoline, air inflated adventure mount, water boats for kids. Fastfoods, water,coffee, chocolates and snacks are available with online payment options too.
