Once upon a time there was too many peacocks.. nowadays you can't find Mayur.. but Beautiful nature will make a space in your heart.. I went there two years ago 3times and I want to go next year also.. now a watch tower is built for more attractions of this place..

I really don't know why this hill is known for mayur pahar because I am not see any peacock in this hill. But the hill is quite good there is also a ram mandir on the top of the hill. Anyone can easily go on the top of the hill. So yeah a good place for visiting

Mayur pahar. Hill top view point with Hanuman Ji temple at the top. Easy elevation. The temple was closed however one can see the idol from outside. Sitting arrangement are there. One have to climb a few stairs to reach to the top. Great view of the purulia town

A beautiful tourist spot near Ayodhya Hill in Purulia. It is basically a small hill. You can easily climb the hill. For aged people also there won't be that much of a problem to reach the top. The view from the top is eye soothing. Not a must visit place, but yeah, a good option to add a stop and enjoy the natural beauty along with capturing some good photos.

The view from the top of the mountain was awesome. You will not get any crowds here. You must come here once, On the top of the viewpoint you can get some cool photos of Ajodhya.

This is a small hill and there is a lighthouse at the top of it. There are around 50 something stairs that you have to climb to reach the lighthouse. You can get an amazing view of the surrounding hills and forests from the top of the lighthouse. Also, they charge 50 rupees for parking your car at the base of the hill. There are some small food stalls where you can get some quick bites.
