Beautiful quaint Homestay in Palampur to spend a great family time. Best suited for family vacation when you are searching for a place where you and your family can sit together, enjoy tea and food with beautiful surroundings with Dhauladhar peaks in the view from the garden. Host Mr. Shamsher Singh takes personal care of your requirements of food and well being. Served my family authentic Pahadi food cooked by himself and his wife. It is very well located away from the city in a peaceful place from where you can easily go to Palampur city (6-7 kms away)and also Dharamshala. Shamsher sing treated us like family guests also took out to show us his village and hidden beautiful places in the surroundings which only locals would know. Though there are no Televisions in the rooms but you would not miss it, as you have WiFi. Overall a great experience as a homestay where homestay actually felt like homestay unlike thos which term homestay but run like hotels.

Overall best experience in stone cottage house. We had been there in May end. Mr. Shamsher is very nice & humble person. One can stay in Stone house & roam nearby places like Bir Billing, Dharamshala, Macleodganj, local Palampur areas. Plenty of open space for kids to play & small get together & party. He will help to arrange the cab also with his good contacts.

We enjoy our stay, most importantly our dog enjoyed 😉 the stone house family is warm and welcoming, they treated us with love and affection. We are grateful to Mr. Shamsher, who took care and played with our pet in our absence, thank you so much. We loved their home made food, tasty, healthy and made with locally grown vegetables

This place has my heart and soul.. One of the best places to stay in Palampur if you want to have a peaceful time away from the hustle of a city and experience village life. The cottage has a beautiful view and an open garden. The host Mr. Shamsher and his family and the caretaker, everyone treated us like a family. The food was hygienic and too good, directly from the farm. Thank you for being an amazing host - me and my family had a lovely time. Loads of love to the small baby💕 My kids had a great time!

This place has good ambiance , great food and excellent hospitality. This place itself is beauty and the real gem is Shamsher bhaiya , he took care of everything , and made us feel like home. Food is on point veg & nonveg both are excellent. We had really good experience and peaceful stay over here . Its has mountain view perfect for early riser , the whole stone house family is very kind , warm and sweet.. we surely visit this place again.

i stayed here for 5 days with family, it has very beautiful view , very cozy place and host shamsherji makes you feel like home and listens to your complaints if any and works on that immediately,and food is one of the many great things here ,WORTHY OF YOUR MONEY . Its best experience of my life.

Lovely place! Great location, beautiful large & very comfortable rooms. The shared terrace is also an asset. We met some lovely people on this place! And the host thakur shamsher is very friendly, helpful and caring. Food was really tasty. This place with a heart! ❤
