Great place to practice meditation and explore Tibetan Buddhism. Course contents are good. You can hike up to this place from McLeodganj, however being hilly area roads are very steep. Taxi might charge you around Rs. 500 for this trip.. Daily Meals for residential courses include bread which becomes heavy and indigestible for everyone. Dorms become overfull of capacity and it feels suffocated inside(expect very basic facilities at the premises) If you can adjust with these things, you can spend good time meditating in silence. (Eat light...feel light.. reflect.. meditate) Loved the library, Gompa, stupas, local staff and silent walk in woods. The light ceremony on the last day of the Residential course is a beautiful experience!!!

An amazing meditation and reflection center. You can learn about Tibetan Buddhism in a quiet, relaxed and beautiful environment. They offer daily drop-in meditation and also retreat of 10 days. One of the most impressive and important places I've visited in my trip.

Silence is the mantra there. Speak to yourself! Place is perfect for someone seeking inner peace. There is meditation session from 9-10AM. But unfortunately on the day we went the session was cancelled. So do confirm before going. One can individually meditate any where in that place. We booked taxi from McLeod Ganj to reach there who charged ₹300. Return we came by walk. There is walkway on backside for those who want to walk down. It’s safe. I knew they have 10 day sessions also. Do explore

Walked through here as we were keen to check it out and we are so glad we did! Incredibly peaceful and serene. Most people were either reading, reading or meditating out in the garden with a beautiful view of the forest. We would have loved to stay longer. They also offer drop in classes in the mornings which we didn’t get a chance to try but are meant to be great.

I took the Intro to Buddhism course here and Becoming your own therapist. The teachers, food, and space were lovely. I wish I could have stayed longer. It has been the best part of my trip in the Dharamshala area. Thank you Tushita!

Tushita Meditation Centre was wonderful. They have daily free walk-in meditation sessions from 9AM to 10AM for everyone. A must try if you’re around in Mcleodganj, Dharamshala. They also have other courses going on, which you can check out on their website!

Zen vibes ! Highly recommended for those interested in Buddhist philosophy. It's located right next to the Vipassana meditation centre. They've drop-in meditation sessions every morning 9-10 am, except Saturday. They also have film screenings on Mondays and Fridays at 2pm in the library. I saw the documentaries on exploring Buddhism. You can also register and stay here for the longer courses.

It's a meditation center hidden from the bustling McLeodganj town. It's got a steep 700 m climb to reach from city centre. Place is natural and peaceful. Visit during morning 9-10 for their morning meditation. They've residential courses as well - details on their website. Most attendees were from outside India last time I visited.

The 9am free guided meditation is an excellent introduction to Buddhist meditation practices, and it is a suitable class for both new and more experienced meditation. The main hall is stunning, peaceful atmosphere and lovely walk in the woods to reach there. Aum🙏
