Authentic high quality yoga school and teacher. Complete the 200 hour teacher training course at Kailash Yoga school after doing extensive research about the available course in Dharamshala. From the moment I first met Yogi Sivadas I knew that I would do the training with him. He teaches his courses with compassion and is dedicated to provide the best service to all of his students. He encourages constructive discussions during all the classes and really takes the time to answer every question from the students. The accommodations are also great with a gorgeous view over the valley. I ended up doing the Reiki master course as well as the sound bowl healing as well. It was truly a transformative experience and I am very grateful for Yogi Sivadas hard work and dedication. Hopefully I will be able to come back for the 300 hour course next year. Namaste

Great balance of physical and spiritual development! My journey to holistic life started years ago and Kailash Tribal school of yoga plays a huge and important role in that. Sivadas is a great teacher with incredible experience and wisdom, who guides and supports you in your journey rather than pushing and imposing a guru-style order. He helps you believe in yourself, take on responsibility for your own actions not only in yoga practice, but in life. I took Yoga Teacher training, Reiki, Sound healing and this experience serves me well in my wellbeing, family life and business development. It's been one of those transformational experiences that brought me closer to who I am and gave me clarity of what kind of life I want to be living. I strongly recommend this school whether you are beginner or advanced in yoga, whether you are curious or resistant to change - Sivadas will help you start from where you are and move to where you want to be!

I did the 200 hour YTT & 30 hour sound healing with Yogi Sivadas in Dharamkot. It exceeded my expectations, the knowledge Yogi Sivadas passed on about the history of yoga from it's beginning in 5500BC and the philosophy on living a yogic lifestyle will benefit me for the rest of my life. This is not a course for someone who just wants to focus on the asanas nor for someone who is closed minded as it may challenge your current belief systems. If you want to learn ways to improve your life and the lives of others in a matter of fact approach then look no further. Yogi has travelled to 49 countries, learned about yoga since that age of 4 and can free recall all knowledge provided. He is a remarkable character with lots of stories to share. I personally would recommend doing the course with others as it's good to talk over the heavy topics and have some emotional support available through like minded yogi friends. I miss my Indian Santa already and I'll be back. PS: side bonus, I started developing abs!

My friend and I took a private course with Yogi Sivadas at his tea farm in Vagamon, Kerala in the Sahyadri Mountains. We stayed nearby at a homestay and met there to practice yoga. It was a beautiful, transformative experience! I learned so much during my yoga certification process and Yogi Sivadas did everything he could to accommodate us, making sure we were comfortable every step of the way. He is a knowledgeable, humble, and kind guru. I had an amazing time learning about Vedic philosophies, Bandha, Pranayama, Dhautis, body systems, and Patanjali’s sutras, as well as the physical fitness practice of yoga and how to teach it. We also had amazing excursions in the mountains to nearby nature reserves. I am so thankful for Yogi Sividas diligent effort to teach us and personalize the experience for us- it was unforgettable. I highly, highly recommend taking a private course with him!

I did a private course of YTT200, Reiki master and a sound healing at Kailash Tribal School of Yoga & Holistic Healing in Kerala, India. Yogi Sivadas was not only an amazing teacher and mentor but also became a good friend and a family for a month and a half. He is a warm-hearted person and did everything so I would feel myself at home. The course was undoubtedly one of a kind. I feel this was a unique experience to have a teacher who gave me 100% of his time and effort to improve me and make sure I will learn as much as I’m able to digest. I will cherish this knowledge for the rest of my life and truly feel I now know deeply the person I've always been. And last but not least, the food he made was DELICIOUS. Thank you Sivadas🙏

After years of dreaming of doing my YTT in India, I not only finally completed it, but I just so happened to luckily find all I ever wanted in a school, teacher, and training. Yogi Sivadas is one of the most humble and sincere teachers I’ve had the pleasure of being in the presence of, and his wisdom and intellect are astounding. This course was much more than a yoga teacher training, it could be argued that you also receive a course in philosophy, anthropology, Indian history, metaphysics, ayurvedic science, world religions, anatomy, biology and so much more. This course is a realistic and practical approach to incorporating yoga into your everyday life, whether it’s through Ayurvedic diet or poses to counteract the stress we put our bodies through. Yoga Sivadas helped to me to transform how I think and act on and off the mat, and I give him my utmost gratitude! Also, if you’re looking for a power yoga oriented school where you will come out doing crazy backbends and handstands, and simply want a fun course where you get a certificate at the end, this program may not be for you (Nothing wrong with that either, but I could see how young sociable people may be disappointed). Yogi Sivada’s course is holistic and challenging based on much more than just Asanas, the methodology and lectures will encourage you to change your overall mental and physical programming with proper dedication (Sivadas doesn’t hold your hand or babysit you, he simply gives you the tools and knowledge to do so). I recommend this course for people who are very serious about yoga and looking to make lasting changes in their lives, yet lots of prior yogic experience isn’t necessary as he teaches from the ground up with much patience. Also, I know the part of food not being included could be a negative, as it was for me while choosing, however I am happy it was this way as it gives you the chance to begin to prepare food that will best serve you and your needs based on Ayurvedic principles, that way you can bring those new habits home when you go instead of being accustomed to having all done for you as many trainings do. Also, the room and center are probably some of the best I’ve stayed in so far, clean, simple and in a perfect location to get acquainted with India. If you’re undecided and overwhelmed with the infinite YTT options (choosing a school is really difficult with the unlimited choices these days!), I can assure you this school won’t let you down. This program is professional, organized, authentic, conducive to self-healing and worth every cent spent. One of the best life decisions I’ve ever made, I deeply thank you Yogi Sivadas for absolutely everything! Hope to come back someday soon for my 300 hour!

Over three days, I took two 1:1 courses with Yogi Sivadas - Sound Healing and Reiki 1. I've taken many yoga and teacher training courses, but this was by far the most organized, comprehensive, and impactful to my life. It can be difficult to find experienced, skilled teachers who truly embody what they teach, and I feel so grateful to have found Yogi Sivadas. I highly recommend studying with him if you can!

I recently completed my ytt 200 with the Kailash Tribal School of Yoga & Holistic Healing in Kerala, India. My experience learning with Yogi Sivadas was what I believe to be incomparable to other options. Sivadas was not only a profoundly knowledgeable and authentic teacher, but also a fabulous tour guide, cook, and friend. We spent all of our time in nature with the freshest air and highest quality of foods, and truly living out a functionally yogic lifestyle. I left knowing that I had gained the best tools possible to maintain a holistic and healthy existence, and with the confidence to help those around me to do the same. Thank you Yogi Sivadas <3

I had an absolutely wonderful experience doing the sound healing course with Yogi Sivadas at the Kailash School. Yogi Sivadas is extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories and accurate content. He delivered the most captivating and authentic course. I truly enjoyed myself, had a lot of fun, laughed, and was initiated to the mesmerising world of sounds and vibrations. I would recommend this to anyone interested in sound healing or healing in general, or just curious about it! Moreover, I am so incredibly grateful to have made the decision to do my 200h Yoga Teacher Training with Yogi Sivadas at Kailash Tribal School of Yoga. It has been an enlightening and confronting experience which, I am sure, will influence and shape the decisions I will take in my life. Not only was it a dense exploration of Indian history and philosophy, and what lies at the roots of yoga, but also a great guide map to how to live my live naturally and healthily in order to experience it in its full glory. Yogi Sivadas is a phenomenal teacher and kept the course light with his great sense of humour and infectious smile. This is one of, if not the best, course out there, and I highly recommend it!

I've never been one to write reviews but the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training with Yogi Sivadas was nothing short of amazing and an investment! I have thoroughly enjoyed the content, practice and Yogi Sivada's wisdom throughout the teaching and it has brought a lot of clarity into my life apart from the official certification. One of the highlight of the course was the Patanjali's Sutras which I have previously reviewed before but the amount of insights and clarity brought from Sivadas's interpretation was simply exceptional. The 200 hours YTT course truely wouldn't be the same if it was any other teacher!

I initially went to Kailash Tribal School to learn more about sound healing. The first day there was absolutely beyond anything I had experienced before. The knowledge and perspective was so new and so fresh I decided to do my Reiki master level course with Yogi Sivadas too. Yogi Sivadas's knowledge and perspective is almost unparalleled. Not only does he have oceans of wisdom to share, he is very easily able to adapt it to each student. Over the next month I completed my sound healing, master level Reiki and a course on Ayurveda as well. The learning I was able to imbibe inspired me to do my Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with Yogi Sivadas, and it was life changing. The discussions and dialogue that are made possible by Yogi Sivadas are beyond words. Smaller groups allow for a lot more face-time to ask questions and engage in a lot more discussions. The experience I had at the school has changed my life for the better, forever. I've been able to apply my learnings to my everyday life, as well as to my practice. Using the techniques I have learnt and constantly honing them has enabled me to go so far beyond I thought I was capable of doing. Yogi Sivadas will take you on a journey so far into yourself and far out into the cosmos, into the infinite, to finally reveal they are one and the same, this understanding will propel you into dimensions beyond anything you've ever experienced. This has made me appreciate myself and life so much more, giving me a joy I had never felt before. My experience at Kailash was absolutely priceless, and words almost do not suffice to explain how I feel after having completed my studies there. I offer my deepest gratitude to Yogi Sivadas for all that he taught me, and I do recommend Kailash Tribal School as a must for anyone who is truly serious about a spiritual and yoga oriented approach to life.
