Shergarh Fort is one of the largest fort in Rajasthan. Built many years ago. Some years ago here found the skeletons of people with 7-8 feet long. One can view whole city from the top of this for but I'd like to mention that the road which reaches here is not so good. It's a sandy/dusty road with gets worse during rain I don't know if it'll improve later. The Chambal river is near this also thirthraj muchkund within 3-5 kms. Here one can sit with solitude it's a very peaceful place here you can also see peacocks.

The fort was built earlier and was enlarged, repaired and used by Shershah Suri in A.D. 1540. The stone fort has four gates and is entered from east through a large gate.  The fort has palace buildings, a temple of shri Hanuman ji and a tomb, besides some ruined structures

It's nice fort of indian history , But the Dholpur fort in Indian history is not particularly special, but if you want to know about the history of this fort, there is a lot of stories that are very much brought from The VEER RAS.

Nothing much to see. Such a shame. There is some nice views to be had though. There are also a few paths to follow... you might find a small temple here and there. It's not a must see.

Only ruins are left now at the Dholpur fort which is situated among the mines of Chambal along the banks of the Chambal River. There is also a dam built for this river.

Does not exist except for a few broken walls. Most of it has been taken over by various temples and the approach is nothing more than a dirt lined road
