Overall the response of the staffs are good they give their helping hand in any queries but I feel the people in registration desk should be more polite in giving the information about doctors because as a new patient we don’t know which doctors are best for certain check-up and which doctors’ are available. I have felt little biased here people who speak Assamese the staff tend to give them more attention then people who come from other state.

Bakwas Hospital Have waited 1 hour and still waiting to have consultation with Dr. Amlan Jyoti Sarma. Not gonna visit again tired of waiting. The doctor need to be on time. Kya Bakwas hai, I think time schedule in the appointment are not for show off. If you want to wait more than hours beyond the time schedule mention in the appointment then you may visit. Never visit this hospital, very worst experience.

Behavior of the woman in the registration counter today I.e. 7/7/2022 at 8.30 am was appealing. There were few people but she was rude and spoke in a threatening way. She said our doctor is not available and asked me to go to the costumer care...what is the job of the receptionist then?? I hope the administration looks into this matter.

Very good hospital, well equipped and clean. It was my first visit and the only thing I didn't like is that there was a lady in the registration counter no. 4 and she was very rude and impatient with the people standing in the queue. I was lucky as I was standing in counter no. 3 and at that counter the lady was very good, she behaved very nicely with politeness. Other than all this my experience was very good, the doctors are very nice and behave very politely with patients.

This hospital knows only how to make money by fooling patients. The doctors here are totally inexperienced. I admitted my wife here for Typhoid fever, they made a bill of rs35000 for 1day which included 25000 tests only, being an MBBS doctor I could catch their fraud. And the treating doctor couldn't answer my questions, so friend's beware and don't visit this fraud hospital.

Worst pharmacist employees and central receptionist I have ever seen , harassing credit patient at night time by sending them here and there just for one seal and at last when we manage anyway to get seal, they did not give the medicine, they are poor managing , no one helped to get the medicine. Pharmacist did not even try to connect with marketing team who actually, manage all credit patient. Poor service. one male Receptionist , when we asked about the seal he told this is not the work of him and send us to pharmacy they will help u , uneducated pharmacist. No one had knowledge of how to manage and help the patient so that patient get service hassle free. Please , trained the employees properly in Apollo Guwahati , this is not the reputation of the Apollo Hospital which I had seen. This pharmacy and reception employee do not know the level of service which need to give in Apollo hospital.

I really appreciate the way the staff nurse Miss Nebita Khangembam welcomed us when we entered the cabin no 327 on 29.09.2021 evening at about 18:30 hrs. Not only that just before taking me to the operation theatre the next day, a group of nurses came and we all had prayers. Though few nurses were newly inducted and somewhat confused I found Miss Nebita Khangembam worth mentioning for her dedication, smiling nature, sincerety, knowledge and devotion to her duty. She made me felt comfortable and at home in the hospital. Prayer with nurses before going to operation theatre boost moral of the patient. A very positive culture. Pls continue for all patients to undergo surgery

Don't expect the timing 😔 I have booked the doctor appointment at 12pm and waited for 2 hours still doctor didn't turn up ...... One has to book 3 to 4 hours ahead...... The worst problem is waiting for a doctor no rush no doctor but it shows the doctor available in online as well as offline for booking books Now don't trust.....

International hospital which is a part of Apollo group of hospitals are making money in the name of treatment.Doctors out here are not confident .They are lacking in confidence. They cannot detect what happened actually with the patient. They keep on experimenting and atlast finding no way they surrender and discharge the serious patient from the hospital.Few good doctors are there for whom this hospital is still earning name and fame. But in the absence of those doctors Apollo will remain Apollo for the sake of Apollo only. There is a Bengalilady doctor who is very rude n rough .she doesn't know how to behave with patient's attendant. The way she behaves and talk is miserable.she disheartened both patient and attendant. But nurses in this hospital are very kind and patient friendly. They are really praiseworthy. This hospital doesn't deserve to be a part of Apollo group of hospitals.Apollo chairman should think over it.

Hopeless treatment, sluggish nature of medical staffs, slow treatment, lack of resources, poor standards of basic amenities and full businessman attitudes of doctor.. Yet it is flattering to see a huge number of patients rather I say customers.... Only due to very less numbers of doctors in our country no one cares about the standards of medical facilities .

From my previous visits there (when it was still the 'International Hospital), I found it to be Service oriented and very professional. My father had once undergone a Hernia operation there and luckily enough he was operated by a wonderful doctor. Even the support staffs at that time were wonderful. I hope the hospital still retains the same service-oriented outlook. I also hope that most of the doctors are not money minded or business oriented.

Worst hospital in terms of management with careless attitude of the stuff. They will keep you waiting to the end of the day only to tell you that your report will come tomorrow. Pathetic behavior of the all the stuff except the nurses and doctors. Everyone thinks themselves as like some officers ordering around and putting the patients on line. More than 2 times they are not able provide the report on time. If they want they could tell before hand that the report will come tomorrow. But no, they will make you stand on line for hours and hours before telling that your reports are not done. Worst behavior towards the patients.

Your male staff at nursing station OPD serving at 11.15 dated 16/10/21 is extremely arrogant. I came with my mother who is 65 year old. We were told to go to nursing point for pressure/wight/ height check up. But the male staff who is quite young has been very rude and extremely arrogant. He does not know the basics of patient handling. Does not even look at the patient he has to attend. My mother could not understand what he was dictating so she called me in. I tried to help her understand his commands. Then he started abusing me aa to why I stepped inside. My mother and I felt humiliated . Points to ponder does the hospital want to engage such rude staffs to take care of their patients who needs empathy and care.

It is a hospital and therefore it goes without saying that the visitors and hosts are both considerate towards each other to a very large extent. But I strongly think that this is a very poorly managed institute and mediocre at best with its hospitality. Besides the obvious congestion as it is a hospital in the middle of the city, it is very poorly managed especially since appointment facility is often disregarded or condoned here. Thankfully, the pandemic is not at its peak but there is literally no space to move about in this facility. Secondly, most doctors have definitely adopted the business like etiquette over civil order and patients' convenience catering to their capital gain by honouring an unruly great number of patients in the shortest span of time per day. Some, in the same spirit, were accepting patients even if they were busy in the OT (cardiologist) and there for made un-well patients wait an entire day and took appointments with-in the sick bay next to the OT disturbing even the nurses who were attenting to the patients. Elaborating on a point I found offensive, my mother was suggested to get admitted immediately by the MD doctor we had visitied for check-up. Having done the innitial diagnostics, the Dr without having the courtesy or consideration to advise the best steps for us in terms of finance & convenience begain to rather intimade us and corner us to think less about our arrangements and invest in being admitted, when many more steps lay ahead of being admitted. We were fortunate that we had to meet with the surgeon before being admitted, that the Dr-Surgeon gave us a clear and wholesome picture of idea of what we had to do before being admitted - like for instance taking an appointment with the surgeon. And as it happens the surgeon was only available after a week and he reassured us of the lack of urgency. In my experience of this place, I have seen some being very harshly treated by the staffs, especially people of rural background who most often do not speak Assamese or Hindi therefore creating a language barrier and their lack of know-how in a new environment. They are literally the people who need the most assistance. I myself found some staff members lacking to provide me with information in many regards when I had approached them and found them being agitated with basic question any customer should be made aware of - like admission cost. I was given 3 different quotes, I mean how do they not know this ??? Lastly, the coordination with the management staff and the Drs seem to be off. I was told that the Drs & Nurses were unaware of the report delivery timings by one of the staffs sitting at the counter when I had gone for collection. What a blatant disregard. Then why dont they make them aware ? What are the patients supposed to do with such mis-informations going around. So basically, its not a great hospital with some desperate Drs and underqualified management staff. But if at all anyone intends to be admitted here, the hospitality in the Delux Ac ward, from my experience was very good. Especially because of the Nurses who were very nurturing and caring for patients. The Surgeon for my mother's operation was Dr Elbert Khiangte who is an excellent Dr and a reassuring person. And the Domestic workers and security guards were also very helpful. I would suggest to stay away from the MD Dr Rosaline and the Cardiologist Dr P. Baruah here. I'm sure they're good at their profession but the former lacks people skills and the other is seriously very busy and you'd be wasting you time.

Worst experience with doctor's appointment. The hospital authority put plenty of numbers on their website but most of them are invalid. Though few of them rings but no-one picks up the phone. I would like to ask the hospital authority, - What is this ??? Some kind of jocks. If you are not going to respond to patients call for doctor's appointment then what's the point of putting so many phone numbers on the website.

Apollo hospital, a big name in India. But unfortunately, in Guwahati city, the administrative department is the worst. For a patient who has not even gone through a surgery, discharge procedure took 6.30 hours. We had asked them to start the procedure at 3 in the afternoon and they made it ready by 9.20 at night and forwarded the claim to insurance company. As we had shown them the pre approval received from insurance company, even though they did not allow us to go home. It was such a horrific harassment. Even government hospital doesn't take 6 hours for discharge. They call themselves as India's biggest hospital.

It was such a pathetic experience I have got in this hospital in the main gate. The behaviour of the security guard totally unprofessional. They assume themselves what it's out of my mind. If high pressure people visit there the patient blood pressure will increase seeing hospitals security guard behaviour. Anyways keep doing your job as usual. I will never ever again will recommend my friend and family to this hospital. In such big chain hospital run with low level behaviour staff it's really strange. God bless Apolo Hospital Guwahati. Keep doing your pathetic service.

Dacoit... Don't ever step in here for any treatment. They are using patient as ATM card to steal money. Specially after Apollo take over. Apollo Group should be ashamed of themselves for looting the poor people of the nation. Never come here... Today, patient has lot more options. If your money grows in Tree then that's a different story, else don't pour your money here...!! There are some doctors who write the most expensive medicine in the market as prescription drugs and collect a commission from Pharma companies... So imagine health care in this country..!! Best is to go to GMC or govt hospitals. These govt hospitals are run by tax payer's money and use these facilities.

I won't recommend you hundred percent, only 30% recommendations from me. For that i will give only two star rating.

Overcrowded hospital, zero availability of cabins. Dirty wards. Conditions worst than a Government hospital. I wonder how they claim to be from the Apollo Group. Please don't go with the google ratings. They will take your mobile and will give five star by themselves on google. Almost every staff I have seen are forcefully taking 5star from the patients. I am waiting for the doctor since 2hrs, had to wait in a long queue for blood tests and at last they tell me to give google review.

We had a good experience with Apollo Hospital Guwahati. Everyone was very understanding and extremely helpful. Especially when they found out that we are not from Assam and we couldn’t speak the language. Our son, who is 4 years old, was admitted there on June 29 and we got him discharged on July 11 so we were in the hospital for almost two weeks. And the team of doctors who were taking care of his case, Dr Barnali Das, Dr A L Saha, Dr Rekha, Dr Geetanjali and Dr Puja and all those who were assisting them did a wonderful job with everything. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and took immediate action which greatly benefited the recovery process of our son. We really appreciate their timely intervention in helping him heal. I would also like to bring to light the nurses who were there with him when things got tough. They were amazing. Everyone was so passionate about their job and the way they were with children. Apollo Hospital Guwahati has a very hard working committed team of nurses and ward boys to mention particularly Mr. Soumin and Mr. Munin, were always up and about, constantly checking on things, making sure their patients were doing ok. Apollo also has a very dedicated team of security staff. The staff stationed at the ICU entrance are always vigilant and yet polite. Mr. Harpal Singh, Ms. Moonmoon and Ms. Tutumoni Takudia were extremely committed to their responsibilities and did a great job with supervising the area. It was a very sweet gesture by the hospital to also arrange for a cake cutting for son how turned 4 this year. All in all, we would highly recommend Apollo Hospital Guwahati. A child friendly hospital

Before it was good. Now everything is worst here....😡 Pharmacy staff and registration desk staff is too lazy and they are busy within themselves, busy in phone (i think they are on personal calls, because they are speaking what they ate and other stuff like that). Some nurses have rude behaviour. We are spending too much money here, please be kind and be quick. 😃Doctors are very good, even senior doctors are very kind and good at their work(except 1 or 2). Love them. ♥️

Went for my mother's heart issue. Not at all organised. Doctor's chamber was in first floor and he was sitting in 5th floor. Nobody informed us of it, I think according to them patients should be aware of the hospital's activities and management. When we went to the 5th floor, there was no arrangement of sitting. Senior citizens along with my mother were standing for long hours. And the nurse said according to Dr.Rituporna Barua, people above 70 years only are considered as senior citizens. Was not aware of it. Finally we waited for almost 3 hours standing and then left the hospital without seeing the doctor. Along with us another family left. Hey doctor and apollo, today you got the registration fee of 300 and 300 as we don't get to see you. Please buy some chairs.

Apollo hospital Guwahati does not have the professional standard of patient care! I am admitted in ICU and have told 4 to 5 people to arrange hand wash in the one common toilet . The hand wash provided is too liquidy. There is no toilet paper. The bathing facility does not work. No one paid any heed to my complaints. We were not allowed to bring our own glass and flask for warm water, which is a requirement for covid patients. After the whole day is over, we come to know hot water is available but one needs to hv their glass . Last 2 hours the indented plastic glass has not arrived and i m waiting to drink water!! Thw quality of food very poor. No fruits, curds. Soups etc provided! Management please look into it

For any follow-up and appointment they ask use to call hospital phone number only but I have been trying the phone number for last one hour but still no one is responding to the phone. Guwahati Apollo hospital is the worst place of service unlike other Apollo branches in India, where we always get positive results timely. Shame on this type of service. Better close this Apollo branch if u cannot give positive service to your patients.

I do not recommend this place at all. Total disregard for patients. Serious patients have to wait in long queues for hours to get admitted to "Emergency" ward. While waiting I saw many Covid patients being taken through non-Covid patient waiting areas (highly dangerous, no separation practices maintained). Very high cost & highly commercialised without any proper care - no improvement seen in patient even after 15 days, had to be re admitted to another hospital. Doctors do not behave accountably - very casual attitude towards patients incl. serious ones.

Arrogance type nature. Dr. Arvind Kelkar is the most rude & idiot & arrogant doctor. He doesn't hear to patient's problem. He only knows money. Erstwhile International Hospital has been made Apollo hospital. This is also another fault of Hospital. But no doctor is from Apollo hospital group of Chennai. Security personnel are of so rude nature. This hospital should be banned in Assam. Moreover, treatment cost & canteen food cost are highly expensive. That means they are looting from poor patients in the name of Apollo brand. Hopeless treatment. Doctor visit fees is ₹700/- or ₹800/- i.e fully looting from patients in the name of treatment. However, some doctors are so good like Dhrubajyoti Chowdhury, Rupam Chowdhury, Rituparna Baruah & Meenakshi Baruah etc. GNRC Hospital Ltd in GUWAHATI is the best hospital & behavior is also very good.

Clean and well maintained hospital. Doctors are good but a few support staffs (not all) are a bit slow especially the sample collection room in the first floor. It took a total of almost two hours from taking the token number to finally entering the room. Can you imagine how uncomfortable it can be for a patient to wait for that long? Although it's a part of the reputed Apollo hospitals group now, some people are still working in the 'International Hospital' mode. Come on! We have high hopes on you. Please don't disappoint us. 🙏

My father's treatment was subpar, and I'm highly dissatisfied with both the hospital and the medical team. The doctors, who came from various backgrounds, seemed to lack effective communication among themselves, leading to conflicting statements. The staff exhibited unprofessional behavior, with arrogant nurses who didn't listen, and uncooperative wardboys, resulting in a disappointing overall service experience.

Took appointment of Dr Mukesh Kr Agarwal at 10.00 am on 8/11/23. Reported 25 minutes before as advised. Doc didn’t turn up till 11.00 am. When we enquired repeatedly, the sister called up some No and then informed that the doc is in OT and will be available after one hour!! Why the hospital didn’t inform us about his non availability? It seems Doc and hospital is not bothered at all for the patients. Very unprofessional behaviour from such a reputed firm. They take all patients granted and try to show their monopoly or this is what a doc requires to show his business !!!

I took my mother to this hospital to consult with an orthopaedic doctor, J M SAIKIA. Later we found out that one of the product that we got from the pharmacy was not the right product as prescribed by the doctor. when i called the doctor , the doctor was so mannerless and rude, instead of explaining which product to be taken , he replied with "what should i do then". This is how they treat patients at their place. first of all they send wrong products without having proper knowledge

Yesterday I went to the hospital to consult Dr. R.R das (Neurologist) for my check up. He took 800 fees on first day as a consultancy part and advised me to get a numerous no. of tests which was part of the routine check up. After getting tested I brought the test reports back to him and everything was normal. After some improper consultation he asked me to pay another 800 rupees on day two more as a part of consultancy fees and advised me to come back after 2 days. I have just a query that no matter how much money it takes but we hope that at least treat us generously. On enquiring over the reception I got to know that there is no feedback form available at the moment. This is the only platform that I got the opportunity to speak to the authority and convey my message to fellow citizens. The part of the message is not about the money issue but was about the dissatisfactory service provided by one of the doctors. Professionals are meant to render their services efficiently but not to earn money only. I do hope the concern authority take necessary action or atleast take the full feedback of my experience.

The hospital staff behaviour is unacceptable specially (Dr.Tonmoy Das - retarded man from Team nephro I). It's just a shame that a brand like Apollo. 1) No proper response from doctor. 2) Faulty test reports from Apollo labs 3) Negligence of nursing staff, in multiple occasions they forgot to give medicine and insulin to patients.

Overall expreience was satisfactory. I express my special thanks to Dr. Anshuman (Emergency ward) who was really helpful and guided us in difficult time. He was very kind enough to help us and arranged everything possible to get her admitted there on time. I would also like to thanks Mr. Sourabh (Admission Desk executive) who helped and supported thorugh out for all my doubts and given proper direction. Though, Treatement was good, but TPA Desk(credit/insurance) in Apollo is really needs to improve their service. They took almost 18hr to get the approval which made the discharge process awful. The discharge process was complete harassment to me.

I must admit Apollo hospitals, Guwahati is great option for your medical needs. I was admitted in Apollo, Guwahati after my accident ,, I went though major surgeries, the doctors were good in behaviour as well as the supporting stuffs. I was in 203 room where the nursing staff was really helpful, I remember Miridusmita Pathak, one of the nursing staff who helped me through a lot , I’m very much happy with her medical support . I didn’t get a chance to thank her and the medical staff, that’s why I’m writing this review.. I’m very much happy with the assistance i got from them 😇

Every member of the staff took the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I had, ensuring that I was fully informed about my treatment options and what to expect. The facilities were also top-notch, with modern equipment and clean, comfortable rooms. Overall, I would recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care. This Hospital I visited 2,3 times but I have feeled that as compare to number of patients the hospital has lack of space in the hospital, So many Doctors available here and most of the doctors are very good, and one more thing patient have to wait for doctor consultation because doctor comes lately to the chamber how many time I visited. Other things like behaviour of staff, clean, are good, And Want to suggest visitors to make sure your your doctor appointment. Most of the good doctors appointment slot is booked before.

All the staffs members are well mannered except few. And also the security staffs are great. I had spent much time with them as a attendant. Specially one of the security member named Rabin kalita is so good and well mannered who has guided us from day 1 and till now. It is a corporate business office, not a real hospital. Earning profit is the only criteria for running this hospital. They will advise many unnecessary tests and perform unnecessary operations to achieve targets. Most of the employees are exploited with minimum wage. A classic Indian private hospital.

Worst service in the name of healthcare. This hospital was previously good when it was named International Hospital. Now, after becoming apollo they are only money minded. They will give your patient test after test without any proper diagnosis. They won't give discharge to your patient even when their condition is stable. Some points to be noted before you go to this hospital: (i) Cleanliness - Zero (ii) Treatment to their own staff members - Not good (iii) Food - Not good (Even for patients) (iv) Rooms - They are like some Paying Guest rooms for students in Guwahati. They charge so much money for a room but compared to that the rooms are very tiny. Not ideal for patients. (v) Doctors - Can't diagnose the problem properly and will just give you test after test. (Some doctors may be good.) Note: They won't give discharge to your patient and will only suggest one test after another. They will suggest your patient to eat vegetables or other stuffs which are not suitable for them. Overall, in simple words it is a pure money minded hospital without proper treatment. If you care about your patient, then go to Nemcare or Healthcity. Still, if you insist to go to Apollo, then go to Apollo Excelcare instead of this hospital.
