Worst Management Really unexpected!! We Booked Hotel’s Banquet 5 months ago with the Advance Amount they asked & At the last moment they said we can’t give you the banquet because it’s booked for someone else and many more things were not done as we decided with The Manager & Owner. It’s A Request Please don’t repeat these things with anyone else. It gets tough to handle while the time of Marraige🙏

The overall experience of the hotel was appalling. Starting from the size of the room "supposedly" for 3 guests being too small and with no options but to upgrade to a larger room by paying extra charges to the condition of every single facility - it was a horrifying experience. The tap was broken, the commode was leaking, the flush didn't work and the fridge was leaking too. We should mention specially that there was almost nothing in the buffet breakfast - the toaster was damaged and the container of every kind of food was empty(even though we arrived within the breakfast timings). We got a smelly piece of pineapple as the knife that was used had obviously been used for cutting onions before. Overall, i repeat, a nightmarish experience. I would not recommend the hotel to my worst enemy!!!!!

The hotel staff was well aware about the same but pretended they did not know. One of the room was changed because of cockroaches and exactly by midnight the AC stopped working. The AC issue was also faced in other rooms also and again the staff pretended that it was an isolated issue but the disruption happened 3 times in the night and as this is a closed room people would get suffocated in these rooms. The staff came and rectified the AC but we had a bad night sleeping in this hotel. Verdict. The hotel is in the heart of the city and looks good from outside but rooms are small and infected with cockroaches. I would definetly give this hotel a miss

It was very bad experience with this hotel... Rooms are pathetic AC was not working properly... I made a complaint about it but no-one came... At the last I was left from there.... Food was also pathetic and I made a order for cold coffee and it was so much bitter.... Please guys don't waste your money ...☹️☹️

Excellent location terrible experience 1. Made advance payment and repeatedly asked for confirmation but received it after multiple reminders with excuse “your mails went to spam! “How come reply to hotel mail can go in spam? 2. Once we went to hotel for check in hotel Front desk refused any advance payment made by us, fortunately, we had the printout of payment confirmation, after we showed it they agreed to check us in. 3. When entered room found very dirty (really dirty) bed linen with black spots all over called Housekeeping, they came said sorry,” we will change it” but it was not changed till we checked out. 4. We took room for few hours only for triple occupancy, only one blanket was there in the room, we asked for extra blanked till late night they argued on room phone that “extra blanket already in room “only late in night they check and said “sorry” again and provided extra blanket. 5. Got two bottles of water asked for extra bottle, were willing to pay but got it only after 3 hours and 3 reminders, that too when went and requested at front desk 6. Broken Toilet accessories. Worst I sent what’s up message to senior executive who chose, even not to acknowledge

Very bad, dirty ,dark and shabby rooms. We have to sleep with many cockroaches. Don't ever visit this hotel else you will repent. Very very filthy rooms

I had my elder brother's weeding organised at German palace. Food was excellent. Rooms for our guests were nice. I was finding it hectic to manage the guests at the arrival (for breakfast arrangements at arrival, room allocation, departures etc) but the hotel manager Mr Govind was very cooperative and did a excellent job in helping us out. At last all our guest praised us for the arrangements - all thanks to the hotel management and the manager himself !!

Had a really good experience in the hotel. The staff members were nice. They took good care of us. Food was amazing. All the safety measures were taken. Ambience is pretty good. The room was clean and sanitized. The staff took all the safety measures very well.

Dont book it . - Charges us more then what was mentioned . - Rooms are very very small pictures are totally illustrative . - In middle of night A/C stopped working amd we all had to wake up and dressup so their staff can come inside room and check 4.30 in the morning. We were informed then that there was a power cut. Our kids didnt slept again. it took almost 1 and a half hour for Ac to work again. - Rude staff (we were travelling with 2 infants 1 2 minths and another 1 year and a half he kept us waiting with both kids in our our arms and kept doing his peocess as slow as possible. - We ordered water bottles which didnt show up. Worst hotel i stayed in a while. i hope this message will reach management and they will take necessary action.

One of the worst and all staff are very very bad pls don't visit this hotel because of this all gujrat people will be blamed I visited first time gujrat I booked the room I landed 12.30 at night I informed them. Before when I reach hotel at night they said booking confirm I felt like abusing them but I left at midnight I was harresed because of them. Pls guys don't visit this hotel theh are are worst 👎

The food was good, service needs more hygiene. Service without wearing hand gloves. Plate was dirty. Toilet and hand wash area require improvement in terms of maintenance and ensure fitted appliances are working properly. Parking issue needs to be addressed.

Plz stop fooling customer after paying 5K you have give single bed option room. MMT don't believe on this site they will loot you .... U hard earned money will go in waste. Towels are also shady. MMT u wasted my money. German hotel u leave me bad taste of trust.

It was a nice stay ...The property was well maintained.... Before arrival a was little bit worried but after reach the property everything was clear...that what I expected it was their....the staff are very polite and courteous... I really enjoyed my stay..

I was in Ahmedabad for 3 weeks for training at Apollo CBCC. The proximity to the hospital was an advantage to me, it’s just 600metres away. The room I got was clean, quiet and everything was working well. The staff was very receptive and warm, special recognition to Madam Jyott, Mr Abhishek at reception and Mr Rohit at the restaurant. They went over and above to make me have a comfortable stay. I really loved their restaurant, spice affair. The food was very tasty and the variety was to my liking. I give a 5 star rating. Kudos.

I stay 04 nights for business purpose. Entire stay was comfortable. Staafs are very cooperative specialy front desk staff. Will visit very soon again

Very Bad Experience!! 1. Unhygienic room 2. They have declared themselves to be a 4 star hotel but it is not even 1 star hotel 3. The doors of the bathroom cannot be closed and it is right in-front of the bed, behind TV. 4. Showers dont work - Use a bucket ! 5. Towels are dirty as a cleaning napkins-stinky 6. Restaurant for breakfast is in dark and stinky place. Food was stale and not fresh. 7. Receptionist very uncooperative

Froud hotel i ever seen ! I booked my room from Agoda and also paid them! But after reaching hotel they asked more money to confirm room. 1 star hotel room were very small and poor quality all things! They also don't provide any complimentry things which are mentioned in agoda and other travel sites! Don't stay here

I have never stayed in such a pathetic, unhygienic, and guest unfriendly hotel. Rodent, mosquitoes, and flies were all around. Staff is not courteous and misbehave with the guest. I strongly not recommend this hotel.

Hosted my daughter's wedding reception at Hotel German Palace in December. Excellent, rooms, great food , courteous and cooperative staff/management. Guests appreciated all qualities of the hotel. Overall, enjoyable and pleasurable experience. Highly recommended.

Very bad experience. Stay away from this hotel. Was on Gujarat tour for holidays and sightseeing. Worst hotel during the whole trip. Stayed at this hotel on 17th Dec 2023, regretted because of the following: Completely rundown rooms - worn out broken flooring Dirty - bedcovering. Looks like sheets were not replaced for days. With clear big tea spilled marks. Clearly visible food dropping on the bed coverings. When asked to replace, had to explain many times. Finally, hours later guy came to replace. But the replaced covering was wet. He wasn't interested. Was just looking around the room as if checking on us. Looks like general room cleaning was done for days. Dirty windows. Staff wasn't much interested in any service. Stay away from this hotel if you can.

One of my cousin had an event here.All were pleased with the way of handling guest .Room stay was cozy and food was assum.All together it left quite a good memories to left with.

The location of the hotel is quite close to the airport and is easily accessible. Staff is extremely efficient and helpful. Rooms provided were quite spacious and clean. I enjoyed the delicious food from their restaurant "Spice Affair". Overall had a lovely experience staying at German Palace.Would definitely visit again and recommend this hotel to everyone!!

It's a nice cosy place. Nice location, specially for people visiting Apollo hospital International. It's bang opposite hospital. Facebook log ties are standard, but we'll maintained, for three star hospitality. Delux rooms are smallish, about 11x11 feet and barely accommodate beds. Chair or any other sitting provision is not available. Bathroom and utility is sufficient and functional. Hot water is through manual control Electric Geyser. Car parking is in open and at owners risk. AC and Tv, cupboard all are well maintained and functional. Service is the high point, specially the restaurant. Food is exceptional and worth travelling miles to enjoy sumptuous meal. Serving staff are very helpful and cordial. Overall a good experience and worth repeating.

It was the worst ever experience in the restaurant.... Waiting time was more than 01 hr whereas it wasn't that crowded also still had to wait for more than an hour... Food taste was more worst. I never had this type of food ever...... Starter and main course was served together...... And nothing was served hot.... I will never ever visit again.....

Don't stay here. If you have time read further. I have been here in 2019 with my family. And now again on 1st oct 2021. This time all alone for a business trip. I think i had left a postive reviews back in 2019. But this time it was completely different. Seeing alone they gave me a room which was very small, which had leaked wash basin and a broken kettle in room. It was room no 110. In morning during breakfast buffet i literally saw cockroches roaming near to the food. Attaching the pics and videos see for urself. Location is great. Staff was courteous but hygiene zero. I dont know why i can't add the main video. Option is not there. I had shot videos of basin kettle nd cockroches

This hotel is located in an amazing location. Anything you can think of is just around you. Restaurants, shopping, massage. The rooms are very clean and the air conditioners work very efficiently in this very hot city of Ahmedabad. They have a very good breakfast Including south and North Indian cuisine besides and other western breakfast. Very friendly staff ever ready to help. We booked a room for 2 nights but had to leave after 1 night. The room was not clean, bed-sheet had some dirty marks. The AC remote was not working properly. One of electric socket was not working. Then came morning buffet breakfast, very few options, there were mosquitoes roaming on the fruits and plates. I ended up with a a filter coffee (only coffee option available) and a single bread toast.

I booked the hotel for my in laws because they wanted to visit Apollo hospital and this hotel is near to the hospital. I felt that receptionist was rude. the furniture is broken in the room. The room is spacious though. So giving 3 stars.

Had lunch at Spice Affair resturent, they do some good veg & non veg dishes. Mushrooms tikka, Chicken Fusion tikka were great. Main course : Paneer cheese roll and Chicken patiyala are something to try for sure

I am Kaml Raghani from Jaipur, stayed 2 days in the German Palace Hotel in Ahmedabad. I will never recommend staying in this property to anyone. The owner & staff misbehaved with my family while going to airport, asking us to pay Rs 117000/ being dues of other rooms also which were not hired by me. Our stay was arranged by local event organiser for marriage purpose. We tried to convince hotel management that even we were not liable to pay room rent, but we are ready to pay room rent for our stay in hotel but they didn't allow us to move to airport & kept us waiting till organisator came & sorted out the issue but by the time we reached airport, the check in counter was closed & we missed our flight.The hotel staff & owner is very rude, hotel industry is known as service industry & hospitality but they don't know the meaning & value of customer. Moreover food qulaity is very poor. I will as such never recommand anyone to stay in property. Please stay away.

It is a review about their restaurant which name is Spice Affair-The Multi-Cuisine Restaurant. It is easy to find because it’s on a main road and they have very good parking space. Nice exterior looks. They got nicely arranged seatings like for couple,family and large group of 10-12 people. It was very clean and hygienic. They provide small water bottle to each people. Good hand washing area. But I have problem with their washroom which is only one and joint for male and female. I think there should be at least 3 washrooms. Now the Menu. Many varieties in every categories like Soups,Salads,Breads,Appetisers,Main-course and Desserts. And they offer Veg. and Non-veg. Both. Prices are moderate according to this kind of Restaurant. Interior and ambience were very nice. All Dishes was really great and delicious. They served hot and fresh. Staffs’ behaviour was very polite and responsive. We ordered soups and salad and 2-3 Appetisers and 3 Main-course dishes 2 of them were non-veg. and other one was veg. With chapatis and Jeera rice. They also offers beverages so we ordered it too. And at last the Desserts in which we had ice-creams and Gulab jamun. I was with my family and we were 6 people and we ate mouth full of food. And our bill was around 3500-4000. So it is a good price for this kind of restaurant, I believe. That was great experience. We enjoyed our time there. And they accepts all cards and Upi also. we just checkout 25 aug 2023 i dont recommend this hotel the flush was not working they were so rude when we tell them that also they did not compensate for that tm AC was noisy and the water there was paid... small room size and not that clean
