Few guests were talking very loudly in the common area at 1.30, this was very disturbing and ruined our sleep. Even after warning them, they continued.

The size of deluxe rooms or in-general all rooms is damn small. 2. The washroom did not have proper ventilation and were stinky. 3. The price for per night is pretty high as compared to the amenities and the room size. 4. The Wi-Fi never works or connects in room. 5. The restro on the terrace is way costlier. 6. Lift is not present.

The stay was peaceful and comfortable. It was a clean dorm room with all the routine stuff. The staff and the receptionist was really helpful and understanding. Though the renovation of restaurant was going on but still they allowed me to enjoy the view from terrace and chill for some time. You have to take an auto or bike taxi to reach there as the place is in old Udaipur main city, it’s difficult for cabs to go there. Overall it was a good stay.

The staff was not friendly. Private room (don'tnt remember exactly, maybe 307) is tiny, not soundproof, without wardrobe; in the washroom there was no any ventilation. Toilets in the common area were terrible dirty and without any facilities. No shared kitchen in this property. But they provide a kettle to our room after request (the same about toilet paper). Reception is on the ground floor but usually nobody there and for check-in or other questions you need to go upstairs to the 4th, where's management is spending time. Also I had few issues with keys and extension of stay. And they never changed our bed sheets even after we asked several times. Please keep in mind that there's no good Wi-Fi. Pluses: nice common area, beautiful painting on the walls, amazing view from the rooftop.

If there is a negative rating that should be applied to the two managers of this property. I had planned a beautiful stay with my mother here after we lost my father this year we needed a break. I booked this place via Booking. Com. I still have the confirmation and they will levy a cancellation charge the managers of this property gave away my rooms to some other guest without even updating me or the app. Now I am left with no option to stay anywhere in Jaipur as all hotels are sold out as this is the wedding season. Till now they have not officially released my booking and I am constantly being harrassed by this team.

Moustache Hostel Best place for stay at Udaipur. It's lake side view is so attractive and it is at the center of Udaipur, so most of the tourists place is walkable distance. Travel_with_lala is so awesome. He guides us and suggests us in a very good way. Price is so reasonable. Interior is just awesome and rooftop is the best place to chill and too many photo points. We group of 6 people liked this hostel so very much.

Pathetic rooms, smell like toilets all the time. An Management will take complaints personal if you have any. Unprofessional staff. The rooms are not worth paying at all instead look for another property. You will be adjusted in a matchbox with four beds inside, to which the bed sheets are foul. DO NOT GO THERE. Cringe.

I really liked this place. In room lockers with security code give you a place to securely store your bags. The beds are comfortable and also each bed has curtains. The ambience, the vibe, the service- all outstanding. It is a cute little aesthetic hotel which provides luxury at an affordable rate at the edge of Lake Pichola. We booked the Presidential Suite and they gave us complimentary decoration for honeymooners.

Would recommend every backpacker to at least give this hostel a try if you need to stay in Udaipur. The staff is lovely to interact with, and very helpful. The location is top-level. Panaromic view of the lake, it is just ecstatic.

I must say, this is the best property in Udaipur where you can stay in. All the staff members are so friendly in nature. The vibe of the terrace is what you will love the most cause from there you can see whole Udaipur which includes lakes and mountains plus you can sit there with ur friends whole time. The whole property was so good that whenever I’ll come to Udaipur again I’m gonna stay there only.

Absolutely terrible and the worst hospitality one can ever experience. The hostel does not provide even the bare minimum facility. Washrooms were so unclean and unmaintained. There was power cut that lasted a night long and nothing was done about it. Even the common areas do not have a power back up. There was zero follow up on our change of rooms and extension of stay. One cannot even enjoy the rooftop because it's always occupied by a bunch who are friends with the management and the other people should bear the brunt of their behaviour. The reception is just an eyewash. They were either condescending or unresponsive to all of my concerns/queries. 10/10 not recommended if you want to have a pleasant stay. Please save yourself your peace of mind by not choosing such a irresponsible set up!

It was great! The rooms were quite spacious and we loved the rooftop. It's beautiful.

The biggest plus is the location. Only 1 min walking distance from lake pichola. The rooftop is decent to hang around. Apart from that the people were not friendly apart from a couple of people. Biggest negative is the restaurant. Very rude behaviour and very expensive. Somethings are expensive than the price given in the menu itself. You can not Bring Outside liquor and the liquor they provide is way expensive. The liquor which is not expensive will be out of stock. Bathroom is very small.

Moustache hostel, What a beautiful place to stay and a perfectly located one- center of Old Udaipur- walkable distance from a lot of touristy places. When I entered this place I was awestruck with the quirky paintings on every single wall. This place has a fun vibe, loved it immediately. Moustache hostel has cute rooms, very very helpful staff, a beautiful rooftop with a perfect view for the sunset. The sitting area on the 1st floor made of ropes is just the most perfect place to chill with friends. 6 of us friends were here for 3 nights and every single one of us has loved our stay. The one who manages this place - Hiba, is warm, welcoming, friendly and has also patiently helped us with all our queries, she’s a sweetheart. One of my most memorable stay. I am waiting to go back here again, this time it would definitely be a longer stay. :)

The staff is friendly but incompetent (maybe inexperienced with strangers?). They ignored our request, and we never had WiFi for 3 days. The last day they woke up us at 9:30, they opened the door without knocking and turned up the light because the checkout was at 10. The bathroom was dirty and smelly, and so the room was too. They barely speak English, we understand that, but sometimes they clearly ignore our request and even laugh at us (seems like the staff is always high). The first day the receptionist told me a price of 1500 for 3 days, we had a long (too long) discussion on 1500 per person or per night, he assured me that it will be 1500 for ALL and finnally made us pay 1500 per person. The problem was nos the price but the communication and the calcul process. The rooftop is nice but dirty too, and the waiter never understands our order, we had to tell him multiple times, and sometimes, to wait 30 min to get our food. Nevertheless, the bar owner is nicer and more professional. To conclude we are mitiged about this place. If you are patient and not regardless on property, you can come here it's a funny place. But if you need something professional, pass your way.

I had the best experience staying at moustache udaipur. First of all, the service was top notch! The staff is really very friendly and supporting, they help you with everything. Now, the rooms were clean, the bathroom was clean, there was privacy in the room as there were lockers with digital locks. There was a common room with different games, and a rooftop restaurant/cafe to spend time. This is a highly recommended hostel from my side. Cost efficient, and facilities provided were really good. We even had access to wifi.

Moustache Udaipur is a wonderful place. The hostel is located in the center of Udaipur and all major sights are within walking distance. The beds are comfortable and clean. The receptionist "Narayan" helped me a lot in planning my next travel destinations. So I found the cheapest and best connection to my destination.

I had a wonderful time at Moustache hostel, and I would recommend it above any other hostel in the city for several reasons. Firstly the building is great, the surfaces are clean and the walls and floors are made of quality materials that are just enjoyable sensually and aesthetically. The rooms are super value for money and there is a great roof top area where you can meet many different kinds of people. Then there is the staff who are so kind and friendly, and who took care of my every need very dutifully and efficiently. Most of all I must mention Narayan Ji, who was a simply incredible host, and who went so far out his way to help me in every way I needed. He often sleeps by reception to help guests who arrive or must leave during the early hours, and regardless of being disturbed at any time, he is always so kind and gracious to anyone who comes, and will always make as much effort as is needed to help them in any way he can. He is so sweet natured and friendly, and manages any task or request quickly and effectively. He made my stay very memorable, and I thank him for all his effort.

Great location. Great people & staff. Especially the receptionist and Rooftop kitchen head-Ravi ji. Stayed in the 6 bed dorm. Ventilation was bit of an issue but otherwise the building itself is a great place to hang out at. I wish I could've taken out one full day to hang out in the common room and the Rooftop. Exceptionally humble people managing the place. They also helped with our queries for where to go out, where to eat and our transportation. They also have laundry services which are quite reasonable and very useful. All in all. Would take out a day of my schedule to enjoy the place. 9.5/10

Highly recommend this hostel! It's close to attractions and there are many good restaurants nearby. Actually I booked non ac room by mistake, but the next day they moved me to an ac room at a very reasonable price. All the hosteler were very nice. A Hostel with a Heart I recently stayed at this hostel and was touched by the kindness and generosity of the host. The host went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable during my stay. The ambiance of the hostel was also incredible - it was a peaceful and relaxing oasis in the heart of the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Location is great. Common space and rooftop space is good too, however really bad dorms with zero ventilation. There is no fan or AC or anything. There is no exhaust or windows in bathroom. Leaving it to be all damp and smelly. V bad condition of dorms and washroom. Space is v small for the amount that it charges.

Enjoyed a lot with the every bit of a facility. From the reception area to the rooftop, it’s a very aesthetic place. Great place for photoshoot. The food is very tasty. Every bit of a corner is designed and painted by different artists and the paintings are very soothing. All of this combines with a very friendly staff on top of it makes it an awesome place to stay.

Through much of 3 days, my friend and I stayed at Moustache, and every day was wonderful. The staff will make you feel incredibly welcomed, and the view is beautiful from the roof. I had a two day stay at this place and it was a mind-blowing experience. The ambience was quite cheerful and vibrant, the city view from the top was ecstatic, the staff was polite and helpful and off course the dog 'shadow' makes it 'cherry on top'. The place is literally for youngsters. You get peace, you get drinks, you get people to interact, socializing is the best element so far. There is a common room for relaxation and playing games, table tennis table to play.Everyday they light bonfire on the terrace and the view is great. Points that are to be improved are, the cleanliness of washrooms and Hot water need to be provided. Also to take care for the nuisance that is created by people after consuming alcohol. The way of socializing is great but also protection is the concern that needs to be taken care of.

Nice,neat and clean hotel around 2 kms from udaipole

I just loved this hostel , its very cool and you will find yourself very comfortable here! Its gives the vibes of home! And whenever you check-in here just run and reach to it's roof top and have a look of city (mainly while sunsent and sunrise) Dorms are very cool , clean and comfy. Washrooms are clean as well! And also the common place is pretty cool and innovative. Well , as my group planned a cheap travel so its very much recommend for fair prices and -always book it from its own website so that you can enjoy the daily different rates.

Got bed for 535rs. Place is super awesome and so many activities you can do within hostel. Rooftop cafe available. Wifi free with high speed. Nearby shops are awesome and you can have nice meal anytime. Happy travelling 👩‍🎤

1. Difficult to get cabs to the hostel. During early and late hours, it's impossible to get one. 2. We had to walk 1km with our bags to get an auto during odd hours. 3. No elevator. If your room is on the 4th floor, you are fcuked up. And if your key card didn't work for any reason, you have to come down and hike up several times as i did 3 times this morning. 4. Staff was very friendly, gave us common area to wait from 5.30 am until we got our room at 12.20 pm. Many others were lucky who didn't have to wait and got the rooms immediately. 5. Don't expect hot shower all the time. Only one of my friends could get a hot shower. Two of us had to take a cold shower even after waiting for 15 min each to heat up the water. 6. Internet was horrible. Couldn't even use my phone pay. Even my friends couldn't. Had to come to the common area to use wifi or to make calls.

This place is located near to gangaur ghat and all of the attractions are walking distance from the hostel. Has Ac and non Ac rooms with clean bed and washrooms. Has a rooftop restaurant and a place to chill. Has a common room with games and books . The staff is very friendly and gives good advice to explore the city. Would definably recommend you to stay here if traveling alone.
