I am short of words to explain my feelings for this beautiful stay. I will write my experience below in points ๐Ÿ˜ƒ 1. We choose the Lakeview room. The house/room is very beautifully decorated and maintained. It gives very vintage vibes. There are very small pieces placed here and there Which are very rare to find nowadays. One of its window opens to the view of beautiful Lake beside. The terrace is also very beautiful and it also has a lake view. 2. The stay was keep very clean and neat by the care takers. 3. Never in my life i have seen such clean and beautiful restroom/bathroom. They provided shower gel and shampoos. Also hot water was available as the weather was cold. 4. There was heater provided in the room as well. 5. Two Water bottles were provided. 6. Himmat ji and Veeni ram ji were available for us whenever we wanted to know about tourists places or some information. They helped us in many ways. 7. Breakfast was provided. It was very tasty. And it's very appreciative that when they use to notice that we were up he used to ping and ask us about breakfast and make it ready to eat so that we can have hot breakfast and tea or coffee. I loved his effort to make us feel comfortable. 8. As mentioned city palace is just 1 min by walking from the stay. Stay is in the heart of the city which helps us to save our money for auto/ ola or uber. We can do Shopping as well beside city palace. We collected many types of souvenirs. 9. The stay is situated in the area which is unable to locate easily because the road is not good. We have to use Google maps to reach the stay. 10. A booklet was provided which gave all the information about the stay , basic information about it, tourist places, gift shops, bike rentals, cab booking, doctor's name and number and breakfast menu. I was very impressed by the details. 11. They even cleaned our room once with our permission. 12. Veeni Ram ji even helped us with our luggage at 5AM to reach out to our cab driver. To conclude, I loved the stay. It gave me a very comfortable and homely vibe. It's very difficult to find a place like this in a heart of the city with a vintage feel in it. I will surely visit again and recommend it to my family and friends.

The place was not accessible even with an auto rickshaw. We stayed in non lake view room, The room is okish but problems like low internet connectivity and mosquitoes will bother you and bed is small.its better to look for another places and at this price you can get a decent hotel.

Me and my husband went there last weekend. House was super classy and we enjoyed the stay but the neighborโ€™s family keep peep in the house and balcony so couldnโ€™t enjoy the privacy . Apart the neighbour is auto driver so he always suggest the place where he gets commision from shopkeepers or restaurant so choose wisely your place to dine in or shops .other than that the house is best place to stay with beautiful view .

Rosieโ€™s retreat is a home far from home. Itโ€™s a cozy comfortable stay built with thoughtful care and love decorated with locally sourced antiques. Short or long stay, business or leisure, fun or romantic, it serves all areas.

It's very nice and must stress extremely well kept apartment with all the amenities. It's ideal getaway where one wants to simply have peace of mind. I ve not seen better Airbnb apartment , nicely decorated at such reasonble rate. The apartment offers nice private terrace and kitchen. At the heart of touristy area of Udaipur, overlooking the lake , Rosie Retreat Homestay is hidden in the narrow alleyways and feels cut away from all the bustling action that surrounds the area. Add to this , generous hosts Rosie and prakshit who went out of their way make our stay comfortable is why this place deserves 5/5 .

First thing is to not get confused between the "Courtyard" and "Lakeside" options. The rooms are cute. The caretaker is helpful. Decent experience. Would recommend the lakeside but there are better options available in the same budget.

Rosie. This is the first opportunity that I've had to let you know about my stay in Udaipur. What a joy. An experience that I will treasure for ever. Every time I walked into the room, I felt like Rudyard Kippling returning home after a day working at the Pioneer. Aditya & Jogi' were marvelous resources and Veni Ram (who took me to meet with his family in his home village) is still sending me videos on whatsApp. It is now one of my "bucket list" items, to return one day to revisit "Rosie's". I will sing your praises to all who will listen. Until, perhaps, we sometime meet, my gratitude is all I have to offer. So...."Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Rosie's retreat is a cute room near Lal ghat(Lake Pichola) of the old city. Room is designed nicely and attention was given to little things and their placement. pillows are the nicest you'll find anywhere. There is a terrace above and a small courtyard right outside the room. A well equipped kitchen. The neighbours are quite noisy though . Note: Even though the description says Lakefront; the place is at best Lakeview.

Loved our stay in Rosie's studio apartment, where the attention to detail made our time exceptionally comfortable and memorable. Beautifully decorated with Rosie's vintage Indian finds and a fabulous collection of books. Recommended for anyone wanting a quieter spot to retreat to, and textiles and homewares fans.

Omg is the word for this amazing place. This place sets new standards of decor and hospitality. It is bound to mesmerize you with its comfort. You feel like not going out once in. It's a small apartment in the tiny lanes of udaipur so you can hear the neighbourhood noise but that can be simply ignored by the stunning beauty and decor of the place. Do visit atleast for two days and you will find this place totally worth.

Some places are etched in heart in such a way that after you come back from that place it calls you back from time to time. I wouldn't be wrong if I include Rosie retreat in one of them. It's been almost a year & half i have been but still the memories are etched like a fresh memory. The property has two apartments namely : Courtyard & Lakeview. Choose Lakeview and you will find yourself in one of the most beautiful places in Udaipur. The best part of the apartment is the mini kitchen where you can cook most of the basic things & the USP is the private terrace from where you can see Lake pichola , dine under the sky with your love one. Although the host wasn't available the time I went but the co host Bhadra ( i guess) was there & helpful from time to time. The easy way to reach retreat is Rainbow restaurant (quiet famous restaurant with an amazing view) from there you can walk. My words wouldn't suffice the beauty & hospitality of the retreat. So do check out yourself & do let me know if i am wrong :)

Beautiful place to stay in udaipur. Best idea for a road trip stay with friends. Make sure you keep asking people for a route. It is difficult to reach there by google map as some pipeline work is going on since years.

Services were great, place was great. Only thing was that the road is very dirty but thats the situation for the entire place.

Rosie's Retreat is a live example of finest ingredients of hospitality in terms of accommodation, cleanliness, empathy, care, class, creativity, service, food and management..the credit goes to the owner Rosie for enabling and empowering her team of Parikshit, the man on the spot, a soft spoken gentleman and thoroughbred professional with a magical eye for details, positive attitude and a balance of intelligence and emotional quotient..then we have Ajju who has magic in her smile and hands with MasterChef culinary skills and maalish..the last but not the least is Bhagwati Lal with a dynamic and vibrant energy and a man of all seasons..we are blessed to have had the privilege of staying here for a week.. with best regards.. Located in the heart of the city in the small alleyways bordering lake pichola, this homestay is a must visit for people who want to be in the heart of the action. The location is hard to find for first timers, but the host guided us well and was in constant touch since we landed at the airport. The room is a stones throw aways from city palace and jagdish temple. The roads are congested and cars can't acess this place. The room has basic amenities, toaster, tea kettle some basic utensils. Hot water is always available. We found a blow dryer, bathrobes etc. The room is cleaned by the maid Ajju who comes in around 9-10 am. We had the courtyard room which was so tastefully decorated with bohemian touches, the carpets on the granite floors, there is a small library worth of books on various topics, the antique furniture and picture frames scattered around, pay special attention to the manner in which the lighting is done. The host has poured her heart into getting things just right. Take a chance and enjoy the stay.
