    Temple of maa Durga and Shiva, very old idole made of bel kath.

    This place is mainly famous for its Kali Puja which is organised by Joynagar Milan Sangha. Apart from Kali Puja, Durga Puja, Shiva Ratri, Saraswati Puja,Charak Utsav etc are also celebrated here.

    One of most beautiful place in jaynagar is joy chandi temple. The temple is not so large but not so small. The temple is devoted to goddess Durga and shiva. The full body of goddess Durga is made of Nim wood.
