The worst maintained park in such a good area. Many so called street dog lovers feeding these dogs inside the Maddox Square Park. The 20 + street dogs, many time attacks the the morning, evening walkers and kids. These street dog lovers will definitely go to heaven by making others life hell.

Upkeep of the greens badly needed. The grass covering has bald patches all over. Too many concrete installations. Needs more tree cover and sitting areas for senior citizens when they come for walks.

It is a developing park. Though it is well known to people in kolkata for durga puja celebration but as a park It has developed itself throughout the year. It has a ground, a children park and a well maintained beautiful garden with fountain in it. It also have some outdoor exercise facility.

It's one of that place in Kolkata which gets active during Durga Puja. The puja happens here itself is very old and kind of an heritage. But the crowd here during Puja evening is uncontrollable. And people visiting this place has no regards for the cleanliness. Throws garbages everywhere on the park.

Basically it is a park Open for all. It has toiletries,play ground,rest plays,paid parkings. In late afternoon almost every day P.V.D KOLKATA ARTO OFFICERS take tests for driving licence for both two and four wheeler and heavy weighted vehicles also . The tests are very tuff and officers are very strict . There also has sitting place where anybody comes sits and take rests for both mind and body. Today i have seen a young couple studying and cuddles with hugs and kisses . I feel very bad because nobody gives me a glass of water. Savage life. In October every year everyone celebrates durga puja festival. Big pandel is created where every body comes and chants to Maa Durga .

Went Maddox square today, firstly some time gone to find out a parking place for my car, then enter inside after TWO YEARS last came 2019, Very decent ambience despite many visitors not disgusting crowded, Beautiful decoration specially lighting and Durga maa looks gorgeous, next have tea,((we were full of food consumed in our Asram otherwise there several good food stalls)) in a tea stall.Fortunate today for Puja pandal Hopper despite warning of medium to heavy rainfall, negligible rainfall till now 8 -45 PM ,By the way we went to a different place in Baruipur, our asram while coming back wish to see Maddox square puja is getting strong and we went there and come back house.

Actually we were late for Maddox Square as we had reached there on evening of Dashami. Pandal looks good from exterior. Goddess Durga is always graceful here.
