Have visited the place after 3yrs,noticed some developments on pavements,so that more to explore and chill,which was difficult earlier.Best for weekend picnics (also recommend for families).Have added some aerial photographs of nearby hidden spots.

Very natural place during sunset on the river bank No washroom available Please carry mosquito repellent with you Come in motorbike or cycle. Small four-wheel need parking bit far. The walk. Many food stalls are there Dustbin are available. Please dont litter. Local shopkeeper clean the place by their own innovative way after sunset. Please keep area clean. I also recommend other to keep clean. Best time to visit is summer and winter. Carry torch and oddmos cream. To enjoy.

It's a very good place for hangout in afternoon... Good atmosphere you can have lots of food stall including great lemon tea😍

I recently visited Ghats and was initially disappointed to find that there were no ghats and no proper sitting arrangements. However, I must say that the experience turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable.

Nice place to spend time in afternoon but sometimes it's very crowded and you probably don't like it ...visit there all day but not Wednesday

It was a great time spent in the river side. Note: It is not safe area for female specially in noon and after 6.30pm.

The approach road now is under repair due to concreting the canal sides and hence cabs are not allowed. The riverside is really refreshing particularly during the morning and the evening while one can take a holy bath in the Ganges anytime.The area is also a picnic spot in winter.

Best place to visit at the time of sunset and to take a bath at high tide.

The mighty Ganges river flows through this place. The sight during sunrise and sunset is refreshing and amazing, the steamer boats passing, the cool breeze of Ganga river. Also there are little dense jungles nearby.

You can roam around... The place is very peaceful and gives you authentic vibes of a village.

Akra River side is very beautiful place to visit. It is side of Hooghly River. Its a natural beauty, with jungles, lakes. There are many brick fields, nearby railway station is Santoshpur and Akra. But communications are very poor. If our government take some initiative it will be a very good tourist spot.

A quiet place, not so far from Kolkata. You can easily enjoy a cycle or bike trip.

This is a very beautiful place. A clear view of hoogly river of mahestala-budge budge area one can watch from here very clearly. Surrounded with temples, bathing ghats etc. Very nice environment for cafe ride also.

It's a nice place to get in touch with people who spend their life beside river. People are nice and sweet. The view in the morning and evening with the sun rise and dawn are stunning. River is the centre of the attraction. Please go it will be memorable moment.
