This palace was built by Raja Rajnarayan Bahadur in the year 1834. The rajbari is now a heritage site of Andul. It is very famous for it's durga puja. Great place for photoshoot.

Place is awesome no doubt .. you can click amazing pictures and spend good time .. But one thing is that this building is not maintained .. this should be maintained bcz this building is carrying our tradition from so many years .. If you are going by bike maybe they will not allow to park your bike on the grass for long and may be you'll not get a permission to enter inside the building .. I also made a short vlog in Abdul Rajbari , if you want you can check that too in my channel "Riding Vibes" ..

185-year-old Andul Rajbari of Bengal's Howrah district still speaks of its rich past and heritage. These tall pillars stand as a witness to many things. This is the palace where the movies "Sahib Bibi Ghulam" and "Chakdah Express" were shot. Nowadays there are rumors that Andul Rajbari is haunted, but some do not believe it to be true. A bit disappointed as there is no maintenance.

Excellent Structural engineering. Huge amazing structure but totally ruined. s. Could be a excellent place of archaeological importance. But it is too late to renovate it to exhibit publicly.

Very special place and it's time before evening it's just horror. And in front there was a sport ground. Andul is a census town in Sankrail CD Block of Howrah Sadar subdivision in Howrah district ... Andul Royal Palace (or, Andul Rajbari).

Heritage structure of Andul. Built by Raja Rajnarayan Bahadur this palace still amazes the localites and people who are visiting from nearby areas. Though maintenance is a matter of concern for such a iconic archeological structure of this importance. It has a very big play ground jn front of it. Though the structure is very old still some people reside in this palace even today.

This Rajbari is around 300years old and holds a strong historical significance. Very few know that Robert Clive convinced then Raja to start Durgapuja here, and he played an important participation here. The architecture of this palace is quite analogous to British one, but for somewhat reason Government pays almost no importance to preserve this asset. This palace is in a way of destruction if not paid immediate attention and proper maintenance... This is an emotion to the people of Howrah district...

It’s been there in my bucket list for a long time.. Glad I could finally visit the 251 year old Durga Puja at the RAJBARI.. Though I wasn’t glad enough to see how badly maintained the whole property was. What’s worse is the mela outside the place which has littered the whole place. Chaudhury Bari, Andul, Howrah Don’t know if you guys have a say in this but I really felt bad at the condition. The whole area is smelling of rotten food and filled with ice cream and chips wrapper. Felt like sharing it with you 🙏🏻

Theis is Most famous place in Andul. Andul Rajbari was established in 1834 by Raja Rajnarayan Raybahadur. He was the descendant of Ramlochan Roy, who was the Dewan of Lord Clive and Warren Hastings. Andul’s royal family was contemporary of Shovabazar Rajbari. Both royal families created their historic legacy during the same period. These days there are rumours that Andul Rajbari is haunted. However locals say such stories are untrue.people come here all around the world. Best way to come here e-rickshaw. Durga Puja is very famous in Andul Rajbari.

Good place if you are interested in regional history. Naat Mandir, near the rajbari is the most visited. Getting into the rajbari is quite tough as permission is hard to come by.

It's very popular destination of Andul, a long adjacent field best for meeting friends, u all must come atleast once, it can give good experience especially at the time of Durga puja.

Height of round piller standing side by side by the stretched rajbari field can really get you awestuck, that dates back to century but due to lack of maintenance, it's in very much poor. Corporation or govt should take responsibility for conserving these types age old property that enrichs history of howrah or west bengal

This is an old Raj bari. Some of the portions are used for a school and people live in rest of the house. There's a big sport ground in front of it. But it is public and cleanliness is not maintained. Only visit during Durgapuja or some other festivals
