What a TREASURE in a middle of nowhere!!! Even more blessed is that the parish priest gives great homilies and actually teaches true Catechism and protocols! The Holy Mass exudes the presence of God, and the church itself is so beautiful!!! A true place of worship where the church is respected as a HOLY ground -- people actually talk outside the church and silence is maintain to respect the presence of God.

Such a beautiful church first off. The people who go there, literally make you feel like your family. Everyone is very kind, generous and such sweet people to be around. The teachers and priests are wonderful people to talk and be around. Getting married in this church was the best decision I could have made. My husband ,myself and our 6 beautiful children have made this the church we come to and will continue to come to .

An unexpected, yet beautiful, example of a mission style church in an uninspiring and industrial area of Ontario. Truly, this church looks like it was plucked from a small village in Italy and dropped unceremoniously on this plot of land. Continuing on my travels south and east, I am glad I stopped here for no other reason than to take a few pictures , have a conversation with an overzealous worshipper (mass was just about to start), enjoy a short respite, and then I was on my way.

Most Traditional Catholic Church in the Diocese of San Bernardino 🙏✝️❤️ I went to the Adult Catechism here to receive my First Communion and Confirmation and they helped me get through it quick!! The reverence here is exemplary and it has helped me come back to the Catholic Faith nice and strong!! They have done their best to preserve the liturgical traditions of the church, Latin Mass, Novis Ordo, and have confession available before every Holy Mass. Youth ministry and Children's Catechism is strong as well 💪✝️💯🕊️ They do ask that you come to Mass in a modest dress code which most people happily comply with, I mean we all should after all we are coming to be with our Lord 😇🙏❤️ Priests are super loving, helpful, and attentive but also firm and traditional which is what we need. Been coming here for almost 2 years really awesome Catholic community lots of really nice people here you will feel welcome 🕊️💯❤️✝️

I love the reverence practiced here at this church there is the Latin and the Norvus Ordo mass here but all kneel and take communion on the tongue. Proper modest dress code is observed and practiced by the majority.

Latin mass is my favorite to attend. Very beautiful church. We drive an hour to attend latin mass here because its not offered closer to us and its worth making the commute.

A humble and reverent parish for a community of God-loving people. A beautiful place to experience the Latin Mass with great priests and a loving family of parishioners.

A beautiful, old church. It was dedicated in 1926. This is one of the only churches in the Inland Empire that offers Latin Masses

Adorable church. Disappointed that office wasn't open like the sign said. Would have loved to learn more about it's history and to verify Latin mass schedule . Will definitely plan to visit again. 😊

I grew up going to this parish while Fr Louis Marx was pastor. He was a saintly man. Since then, I think the parish has lost a lot of the old crowd. Nevertheless, they still have some of the most reverent liturgy in southern California. They celebrate ad orientem. They celebrate both the old rite and the new. They have regular confessions. The beauty of the church itself, I'm not fit to judge, since I'm so biased by my sentiments from childhood. I think it is a very lovely early Romanesque style, obviously early twentieth century and very successfully aging. It has a timeless appeal. The community here is still young and healthy and it doesn't consist solely of the retired, which is nice.

My son came from a hike, he doesn’t live in the area. He went on Divine Mercy Sunday, but was turned away by a lady, because he had shorts on.

TLDR: This is a conservative Catholic parish practicing Mass in Latin. A beautiful, small church nestled among modern office buildings just north of the Ontario Airport and along the East-West railroad tracks. San Secondo's history is tied to the vineyard activity in the Inland Empire during the turn of the 20th Century. Named after Saint Secundus, the church was built by Mr. and Mrs. Secondo Guasti "to resemble the 17th century structure from his village in Asti, Italy," says their website. "In 1924, the Guasti family brought woodworkers and stonemasons from Mexico and Italy to build the church. It was completed in 1926 and dedicated on October 3, 1926, by Bishop John J. Cantwell of Los Angeles," it further says. Attending a Mass in Latin is an experience for those who are used to post-Vatican II parishes. Here, the priest stands facing the altar with his back to parishioners. Altar boys ring the bells to signal when to kneel and what is happening during the Mass. The pews are very "historic" with straight backs, an aisle down the center, and narrow space between the next pew. Masses are very well attended so if you want a seat, without climbing over people, then arrive early. Spillover fills the front patio/entrance area where there are folding chairs and a speaker. Parishioners' attire is dressy and conservative with women in long dresses wearing veils over their heads and men in suits. However, I've not seen anyone insist nor exclude women who don't wear veils. Do not attend in inappropriate clothing (see their website for guidance). For an old-world, Catholic experience, San Secondo d'Asti Catholic Church is the place.

Old lady who volunteers in the office was so rude and does not really care at all. They should get rid of her. Not really healthy for the image of this devout church. I asked around and knew her name, and it is something like Mary jane. Talk to somebody else if you ever visit the office.
