2 nights is must what I feel ...stay in the fort rooms within 5km fort people arrange boat tour.. best time to visit in Oct to feb avoid raining season. Explore the place well and enjoy the heritage .

Natural habitat for many a flora and fauna. Excellent views from the deck. Lots of greenery. Roads from Kolkata being very narrow and crowded takes unusually long time. Food is good. Rooms including upholstery need upgrades.

It's overpriced with pathetic temperature control( if AC is more than 22degree then entire room becomes wet due to humidity). Not fully clean rooms. Swimming pool full of algi! If riding from Kolkata then it won't be a good long drive feeling as you have to go through the city traffic and then throw narrow roads and behind the buses. Good things: Surrounded by nature. Fort like exterior. Very close to ganga river.

Nice place for a day outing with family. Riverside view of ganga is add on bonus of the property. The property is a luxury one. Food is very good. Only the con is distance from Kolkata down if you are going by own car..you may face heavy road traffic ..must try once . Price may seems on higher side for some traveller group.

Each staff is very well-mannered. The overall experience was great. Buffet breakfast items were all tasty. Nothing to complain about. Would love to visit again

This is hands down one of the best weekend getaway locations around Kolkata. The location is remote, which exactly serves the purpose of relaxing amidst nature. Full of lush green, birds, very private and peaceful, and above all adjacent to the beautiful Ganges. Once you sit with your loved ones on the banks of the gorgeous sounds of the Ganges waves crashing, you won't be able to pull yourself out of the immersion of the ambience. If you are looking for a place with loads of outdoor activities, then this is not the right place for you. The food and pool is also good, with the nighttime atmosphere being equally distinctive and mesmerizing. I am pretty sure the somewhat higher rates of this place are totally justified, as you will not get this kind of atmosphere in the costliest of resorts around Kolkata.

we had a very poor experience during our stay at the Ffort, went with high expectations, but two things changed it: 1) they gave the key cards to the rooms, and one of the rooms were to cleaned, it was used and dirty and they did not do housekeeping but gave us the keys to use it. Very disappointed, never seen something like that and they were barely apologetic. 2) We asked for extra chocolate sauce during the buffet and they mixed WATER in the chocolate sauce to make it more and as the water did not dissolve in the sauce it splashed out when we tried to add it to our ice cream, it was horrendous, never seen service like this! then they said that the chocolate sauce went bad so essentially they were serving us expired food. Keep in mind that all of these experiences there is very expensive and unfortunately I will not be recommending them to anyone!

Upmarket place. Elaborate resort with restaurants. Well decorated and beautiful place for weddings. The food in Reflections restaurant is very good but a bit pricey. The resort is inside Raichak on Ganges compound. The river ganges is visible from the resort. Moving around and going in and going out of the resort requires a private vehicle else you ll need to walk miles. Very serene place.

Location is excellent, very big and well maintained property. Check-in process is a bit slow. Car parking is available inside. Ambience of the bar is good. Buffet breakfast is available with moderate options .

Rooms are in shabby state, unclean curtains, if you decrease or increase AC temp over and below 22 degree you will find entire rooms are wet, floors walls ceilings Food quality and variety needs overhaul Staff behaviour is v good polite they did all।they could do

Mind blowing, it’s a huge & a picture worthy area , a paradise during winters specially , I was literally stunned on entering…. The entire area is very beautiful, peaceful & well maintained…. The staff members including the security guards all are very helpful & decent …. They serve really delicious food items …. It’s a 4 star hotel & well deserved, must visit , highly recommended!!
