Taralangso is a very natural ecological, cultural place to visit in Diphu. Its located 7 kms away from the town. The Festival site provides a glimpse of the beautiful hills view with sunrise & sunset. Nothengbi is a traditional view point build on the top of the hill which provides a panoramic view of the festival site. The area is covered by flora & fauna. It is a peaceful heaven for the nature lovers. Every year a rich cultural festival is held for 5 days in the month of February. The Karbi Peoples Hall at Taralangso which is very beautiful place surrounded on all sides by lush green hills . It is the ethnic tribe of Karbis Cultures and Traditions centre. In every year the Karbi Youth Festival are held here in the month of February, during these Festival the participants from across India and the visitors from across the Globe.

Karbi Youth Festival is celebrated every year at Taralangso. Where we promote and preserve our age old culture and tradition.

Constructed with the representation of Karbi ornament called Nothengpi. Nothengpi is worn by aged women who have attain the age of maturity. It is seen among the elders whose age have crossed 50 or so used to wear Nothengpi. Nothengpi is an earring made of Silver.With the construction of Nothengpi, the Taralangso peak is slowly gaining significance and it will turn into a historic place one day.
