It took me 25 minutes to buy socks and I was only 3rd in the que. Service is terrible

I always buy from Ackermans for my kids. They have great range for kids. However, this particular store loses stars based on the fact that when I visited there the last time, they were too busy cleaning the floors. Refused to make way for the customers to shop and extremely rude as well.

Hello, I lost my phone in Ackerman Clear Water mall yesterday. I asked the manager if I can see the footage. There was no way that I could see the footage where as I knew exactly where I had lost my phone. I am sure some customer took it. But I did not get much help from Ackerman store. That was really disappointing

Like the other Ackerman store they also got the wide variety of clothing for kids .the quality of the clothes satisfies me always for my young ones and very much affordable with the trending designs. Staff was very friendly and helped me find the size for my young ones .

Whatever you do don’t use the click and collect option to buy clothes from Ackermans. You will never get your clothes , you will not get your money and no one will have answers for you.

Thursday 15 June 2023 Since we travel quite a bit, I buy keyrings from places - and turn them into earrings. When hubby travels overseas, he will buy me keyrings that I can turn into earrings. So for this denim jacket I had a travel them in mind ... On the back, I traced the outline of a car with luggage on the roof. First I stitched it with light blue wool, then I used this 'fluffy' wool to soften the lines. For the back top, I added 3 keyrings (used to be earrings) from left to right: Hazyview, Agulhas and Laaiplek. On the front I have memories from Pretville (Hartbeespoort dam), Basotho Village (Golden Gate Park, near Clarens), Cape Town, Orania, Lanseria airport, Holland, Switzerland, Denmark, England, Buffelspoort ATKV, Heidelberg Museum (Gauteng) and Aldam Resort (between Kroonstad and Bloemfontein). A jacket of memories! Monday 12 June 2023 I have been 'altering' my clothes - added some bling and what-nots. So I've 'blinged' up my denim jacket, but needed more ... I've walked through the whole of Clearwater Mall - walked into every clothes shop and Ackermans had exactly the denim jacket I wanted - at the best price (R320). Now I can start 'creating' a new jacket.

Slow service, store qualifies as sauna

Long queue to pay, lots of staff hanging around and 2 active pay points and cashiers having a lovely conversation with each other. Store is hit, kids are crabby, not impressed

The heater is always on full ball in the store, the store is like an oven, please can someone stop the staff having access to the aircon controls.

Lovely clean shop with plenty to choose from

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Would rate it a 0 if I could. The staff are unhelpful and show no interest. The prices are always incorrect so be sure to check at the till point. Everytime I purchased items I was always charged the incorrect price and there is no effort in making any apologies. The store is rather dirty with clothing lying all over the floors and buckets of water and dirt marks also. You will notice that the staff are always complaining that they will be going home late at 10 or 12pm which is such a put off. Head office needs to seriously look into how this store is being managed because it is a disgrace to other ackermans stores.

Worst Ackermans in customer service. All the workers stand around in the shop having a chat . One cashier. They keep calling cashiers , no response. I guess they don’t care they get a salary whether they help customers or not. Might as well close.

I would like to thank Dipuo and Portia the ladies where very helpful... I went to 5 different Ackermans stores looking for a white baby Turban and when I got to the Clearwater branch I was assisted with a smile... they did not have the Turbans in stock however they promised to try and find it for me, they took my number and the called me as promised. Thank you so so much ladies keep up the good work... you guys are the best. Keep smiling and stay as humble as you are. We need people like you in many retail stores. Good clothing for the price but the service is always so slow at the tills which is frustrating.
