I come here for the MAI TAI - best in town.

First time in Frankfurt and couldn’t have picked a better hotel to stay. Staff is incredibly kind and caring, speak very good English, and ensured my stay was impeccable. Everyone from the receptionist, bartender to the waiter treated me with the utmost respect. This was my first time staying an ALL property, now it is my go-to.

Perfect location in the heart of the city with very nice views over the Opera and the park. The property is of much higher standards than many Sofitel hotels. Among the top 3 luxury hotels in Frankfurt ! Top class elegant contemporary design - exquisite quality furnishings and finishes. Very large rooms and suites - large bathrooms (Diptyque amenities). Heavenly confortable Sofitel Signature Beds. Excellent food, great bar and good service standards. Top Concierge!!!

The room was nice, but even though the thermostat was set to 18.0C, the actual temperature never dropped below 21.5. One of the bathroom doors had difficulty closing as if the track needed adjustment. Finally, the room is large enough for a King size mattress. Pushing two Twin sized mattresses together just isn't the same thing. Things that I liked: -Quality and quantity of bath towels -Shower (temp and flow) -shampoo -Toto Washlet -Bose radio These may seem like little things but for 570 Euros per night my expectations are a little higher.

Very nice hotel having a very good restaurant and and even better Cocktail bar with occasional live music.

I visited the Sofitel in Frankfurt for a drink at the bar and the welcome was absolutely perfect! The waiter behind the bar was warm and kind, made me feel well as soon as I arrived. The wine was good but for 13€ the glass and in a 5* hotel, you expect some nuts or any small thing to accompany the drink. I saw some macaroons for the tea/coffee orders but nothing for alcohol… Shame. The bar was cosy in some places and less in others but globally a nice place. Then, I didn’t feel like the lobby area was very welcoming but that is just my personal feeling. Nevertheless, all the areas were perfectly clean and care was brought to small details, in the toilets notably with tissues in flower forms and others.

We have chosen Sofitel Opera hotel while staying in Frankfurt and this is a perfect choice. The hotel has great location (walking distance from the old twin, the botanic garden, from the shopping streets etc). It is a beautiful well decorated hotel, the rooms are big and cozy and the service is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. Thee is a nice bar, surprisingly large and comfortable seeming pool. Above all the staff is very professional and polite and helpful. Highly recommended hotel.

Very nice hotel. Just that the bathtub is not user friendly at all. It is not easy to climb in via a small opening. There is no handle of any kind to close the glass door from the inside. There is no grab bar inside the bath. The floor on the bathtub is extremely slippery. Wish they have a separate walk-in shower like some hotels do. As much as we love the rest of the hotel, we will certainly avoid staying at this hotel in the future.

My wife and I spent three (3) nights here as a starting point for our baby moon. The staffs were kind even to set up a little baby moon surprise in our room when we arrived, which we absolutely loved! Shania checked us in and Sebastian was very helpful in not only helping with our luggages, but giving good recommendation for places to visit and restaurants to dine in. We are headed back in a week and cannot wait to stay at the hotel again.

Everything was fine room and staff, a bit disappointed of the staff at the bar, not very welcoming they look like they don't want to be there, it's sad for this kind of standing but expect for that everything was perfect I would definitely come back when I'm in frankfurt.

Nice hotel, but they blocked my credit card and NEVER released, even after several calls with the hotel. Super unprofessional, especially considering that I was on a business trip.

Stayed at the Sofitel Opera in Frankfurt for 4 nights whilst attending a conference in the city. The hotel is located in a beautiful area next to a park yet within walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Staff at the hotel are attentive and friendly, food is excellent and the spa and swimming pool are first class.

Delightful experience ! I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, for the Chiefs - Dolphins game. Staff has been amazing (Thanks to Tina for the very friendly and efficient check-in and Olivier for an outstanding room service), the bedding is absolutely a cheat code, I have never ever slept so well in my life. (This is not for nothing that their bed are on sale on internet). Room has been absolutely spotless and clean. I can only recommend this hotel !

Most comfortable hotel bed we have stayed on over our 2-3 week trip. Fantastic, clean, spacious and even has a balcony. Location is 5-10 mins from another Main Street with many shops and restaurants

My wife and I recently stayed at the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera Hotel and found it to be a nice surprise. The service was excellent across evert aspect of the hotel and restaurant. The room was plush and comfortable and every member of their team went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. We would definitely stay there again on s return trip to Frankfurt.

We stayed at the Sofitel the first and last night of our recent trip to Germany and were thoroughly impressed with both stays. We were graciously provided with fabulous upgrades with our Accor status for both stays, the first time to a top floor corner suite with a bathtub and rain shower, the second time to a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the park. Front desk and valet staff were friendly and attentive. Very comfortable king sized beds and well designed rooms and we especially appreciated the Diptyque toiletries and free minibar. Great location, central and walkable to all the nearby shops and restaurants. We look forward to staying again on our next trip to Frankfurt!

AND they charged my credit card twice. You are not making it easier to return. ————— Disappointing. Front desk staff had no clue and super slow, when asking for help had to wait while they slowly dealt with other things; elevator confusing and hard to use, room nothing special at all; COVID regulations were not followed and 3G was not checked at all - just asked me to sign without confirming anything or letting me read the form. Mini fridge locked as if guests steal. When asking for something, they simply say ‘no not possible’ without helping to come up with an alternative solution. Staff training has a long way to go.

Beautiful hotel, classy and comfortable room and world class service! Love the layout of the bathroom and the lux bathtub. Beds are super soft. The service we receive at the concierge, front desk, room service and breakfast had been awesome. Would definitely come back again if we are in Frankfurt.

Excellent location, nice ambiance, service not up to par for the price. Reception staff couldn't see that I checked in online (incl. credit card authorization), wanted me to handwrite everything again. Credit card had to be presented again even though already pre-authorized. No "nice touches" in the room, no turn down service. Room also not as presented on the web page. All in all nice hotel in a cool location, but service more like in the €150 category. ______ Addition__________ I want to add that the manager really took the feedback seriously and process improvements have been implemented. Therefore add one star to my original review

They don’t give the correct information before checking in that because of local events you can’t quit by car the hotel. Needed to wait 15 min at the reception because they don’t check the Order of wating guests. But perfect and fast cancellation

Very nice hotel, especially the rooms. Service is outstanding and it's very well located in the centre. I particularly loved the little park in front of the hotel. However, the swimming pool and spa were very disappointing. It felt more like a mid-range health club rather than a five star hotel.

Weird experience with hotel staff. Stayed for 1 night, had a special offer with breakfast included. At the checkout in the morning we were asked to pay full breakfast fee (more then it was in the original offer). We declined and got assurance that all is ok and received final bill. 2 hours later my card was charged and for the next 3 days had an interesting email discussion with the hotel who claimed that “we left the room and never showed up for check out”… Definitely not coming back.

My review is long overdue. Stayed in November. Brilliant front of house staff, welcoming, friendly and efficient. Concierge could not do enough for us, booking restaurants, recommending what to see and organising transport.They upgraded us, once to the Opera Suite on our way in and on our second stay on our way back home to the Presidential Suite. Wish we could have stayed longer. !!!

Frankfurt was our first stop during our Germany visit The hotel has a top location in the middle of the city center. All top shopping boutiques are near by. We loved the interior of the hotel and the service was 5 star luxury in all areas.

Asked for a room with a bathtub - there are none in this category, apparently. Is this a 5 stars hotel? I don’t think so. This is not Paris and the room is the size of a shoebox. Don’t spend the money - it is not worth it.

A nice stay but not sure if it deserved the five star and the price we paid. Service was in general very slow. Sat night we spent 2 hrs in the restaurant and 1/3 of the time was waiting for the waiters to come by. Sun morning from 10-11 am we called the front desk 3 times and no one answered or called back. The good part is that when you really get to talk to them, you indeed receive five-star standard service.

Great stay here. The beds extremely comfortable, the rooms are clean and modern, the spa was top notch, the hotel lobby was sleek and modern, the staff was very friendly, I was able to check into my room at 9am which was a huge perk after a long flight

What a charming hotel. The location itself is ideal for wherever you need to get to. The room was very comfortable and so were the beds. It was spotless, as was the immaculate bathroom with lovely clean towels. Cannot fault the service during breakfast either; everything was delicious and very exquisite. All the staff we met were very helpful and welcoming. We're definitely returning.

The staffs are super friendly! The design is stunning and our room has wonderful view in the garden! Moreover the location can be better! It’s near the old town, shopping center, museums, restaurants…We are happy with our choices and hope that we enjoy our stay here.

Great City Hotel, a shame about the breakfast. Excellent location in the center of the city in walking distance to everything. Extremely comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, and the staff are super service minded. Only the breakfast was rather dull, nothing special, all nicely done, just very very plain and standard, the eggs included, not much creativity going on in that kitchen. Rather disappointing actually. A shame as it lets the rest of the hotel down.

Stayed here July 2022 for 4 nights. Hotel is gorgeous and high end. Room is beautiful and beds are very comfortable; lots of space. Love the bar in the lobby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion, it would be helpful to get an overview of the room, how the tv, Bose radio, tv in the shower room works.

Sofitel always delivers high quality accomodation, food & services, this place (Sofitel Frankfurt Opera, Frankfurt am Main) further brings an atmosphere of city get-away, especially in such a busy flight hub. A nice place to re-visit sometime. :)

Definitely a 5 star hotel. Service is amazing; everyone from the guy at the door to the ladies/gents at reception and overall staff. Shout to my guy Ghaffar!! He went above and beyond for our needs in his night shift. Management better recognise him!!!!

All comments take into account the high price level of the hotel that should Brindisi consequent level of comfort. Rooms outdated service a bit cold, but mainky commercial policies that consider the customer like a walket with two lega.

Amazing staying. My room was spacious and bright with amazing view on the city. The room was equipped with everything you can rven think of. Definitely this hotel will be my choice for future stayings in Frankfury.
