Absolute disapointment. R150 per car to enter on a road with no clear directions. No guide to take you to the castle and to top all of that.... the castle will only be unlocked to guest of the Union guesthouse! We paid R150 ....to get lost over the Lesotho border .... still havn't seen the castle. Not recommended at all!!

Worth the scenic drive. Picturesque

Off the beaten track and onto a 4x4 journey to the top of this hilltop. Bordering Lesotho, the castle is a truly unique experience. We had booked a fantastic 3 course meal for lunch with coffee and a tour. Delicious meal, breathtaking views and awesome place.

Disappointing to say the least. Drove all the way there today only to turn around in front of a locked gate with a notice that you can only visit by appointment. There is a sign that points to where an "office" is supposed to be but it seems like no one is there. Only a quad bike next to a building. Crazy. If you look at the gate and road it looks like grasses and weeds are taking over. Obviously not a lot of traffic. Not recommended.

Had the same experience as Dirk. Got to an open gate which said by appointment and indicated a reception area. Looked for the reception area for around 5 minutes when I bumbed I to a young man. I asked him where reception is, he called out to someone with no answer. So I left again.

Only by appointment or being a guest. Not really an attraction if you can't visit being on vacation in the area and not the place itself. No one to Reach driving past so plan your visit there or forget the place ever existed.

I went to stay at Destiny's Castle to visit an old childhood friend of mine. It was amazing and I found my Soul again....

Visited twice, first on tour with Jonny of Union house and had lunch at the castle, the second time hiked up from Winfred Farm. Planning a third visit …. this time it will have to be an overnight visit!!!!

Absolute luxury. Lovely people. Peaceful

If you want to find class in open nature environment, just do it!

This place is AMAZING. It will take your breath away. The view of GOD's Window will stun you!!! Take a trip on the Destiny road to Adventure and visit Destiny Castle in Fouriesburg
