Best place in Clarens to stay. Amazing furnishings and above all pet friendly. My dogs had a ball in Clarens. Literally 🤣. If you mountainbike, run, or just want to have a lazy time away from home this is the place to stay 🥰

Such a beautiful place - has all the bells and whistles of a modern day home of the city, but you walk outside and surrounded by mountains. Only 600m (or less) walk / drive to the town square and there you will find yourself browsing through the various stores - of clothes, furniture, antiques, candles, sauces and jams. PLUS an array of restaurants - give Clarens Brewery a try (beer tasting and delicious food). Definitely returning on many stays with the family and fur-child.

Fantastic experience. Ample space for everyone to chill either in the lounge or outside by the fire place. Everything was super clean. Everything you expect a self catering to have was provided. Not far form the square so you can walk to there if you wanted to. Would recommend

Perfect spot for a week or weekend getaway. The house is beautiful with a big lounge and fireplace, ample room in the open kitchen and nice comfy beds to rest after a day out hiking. The village of Clarens is a little gem in the middle of the free state with lots a amazing shops and restaurants to browse. The scenery on the many hikes you can take around the village is simply breathtaking. We highly recommend this beautiful home, and make sure that you pop into the Clarens Brewery while you are there.. Outstanding beer and delicious food.

A lovely dog friendly place that is well situated and just what is needed in Clarens. Close enough to walk to everything but just far enough to be nice and quiet. Would visit again.

Stoke House was the perfect stay for us in Clarens. Close to the town centre, it is perfectly located to explore all the little gems in the area. Chantal was extremely efficient in communicating with us and replied quickly to any questions we had. The unit itself, Tippie, was spotlessly clean and is well equipped to ensure a very comfortable stay. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Upon entering it was a wow moment, the architecture and location is great. The room was well designed, the interior is beautiful. It has everything you need. Will definitely stay again and it allows to rent out the whole house if you have a big family.

The Stoke House was a beautiful place, well equipped and perfect to accommodate our doggies. The owners were incredibly helpful and the overall experience was truly amazing. We loved this little spot and would highly recommend it for a nice weekend away in Clarens. It is just a short walk away from the main town and many trails.
