Amazing experience staying here, Pat and her husband are special people and amazing hosts. The location is perfect to be able to walk to the square or do park run on a Saturday morning - just stunning, we loved our stay!

Excellent location, short walk & you are in the main square in Clarence but also far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the outstanding views. Very friendly & helpful hospitality, loved all the information Pat gave us about the area from great places to eat to the interesting history about the cottage. Overall was a great stay, I couldn't fault a single thing. Would happily stay here again & will miss the stunning views!

What a wonderful place to stay. Pat and Colin are wonderful warm hosts, so friendly and happy to share recommendations. It was lovely to hear from them about the history of the house and town! Really made our stay special. The historical cottage is full of huge charm and everything you need for a self catering stay in Clarens. We particularly liked the outside covered seating area, lovely balcony views and the beautiful gardens. So comfortable and homely! A real haven to relax in. The location is fantastic, close to everything you need in Clarens (including a service wash laundry place which was helpful on a long roadtrip!). Short walk from the pretty town square looking up to Mt. Horeb. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

A charming cottage, surrounded by a peaceful garden. A place where you can have your morning coffee sitting on the windowsill, while enjoying the magnificent mountain views. So much thought is put into making guests feel at home and ensuring they have everything they need to enjoy a comfortable, warm and relaxing stay.

Great view and a lovely hostes. For self catering you've got space to move and if there should be a problem the owner is just a stone throw away. A beautiful escape from the day to day and a beautiful peace of history.

This original heritage house of the clarens area is quirky, unique, but beautiful and comfortable and really makes you feel away from home in a stunning setting and view of the hillside and mountains. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed the history lesson of clarens and the house itself not to mention the recommendations from restaurants to dirt roads and excursions that were right up our ally making this one of our top 10 weekends away 😎

Nice, cosy Cottage. Upon entering the view of the mountains was too die for. OMG, really the best view. I will definately recommend this cottage to everyone. We really enjoyed our stay, the braai outside and the warm blankets😊 We will definately be back. Thank you so much.
