Had a horrible experience at Riverwalk. Experienced small town racism at its best. They should just say "Whites Only". I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. The service is horrible and they have zero regard for people. The host tried to kick me out of the room before 10 simply because they had to clean for other guests. I refused to leave before the stipulated time and at some point the guest even entered the room without knocking to ask me to go work in their restaurant. Told her to her face that that was not only unprofessional but speaks to how they see and treat black people. Also,I had paid for dinner but they never gave me a chance to go to the restaurant, they would place a plate in my room without even telling me or asking me what I wanted to eat...they gave me a plate of cold meat for my whole stay when I am in fact vegetarian- they never cared to ask. Beyond this, the road to the establishment is a disaster for non 4x4 and there is no safe parking. You literally leave your car out next to a thick bush with no fencing or gate. The rooms are good but I will never return or encourage anyone to use that place again.

Beautiful rooms and bathroom. Wonderful staff. Horrible road leading to bnb. The host, Johanna has a horrible attitude and she shouted at me over the phone as if I am a child for arriving at 21h00. She said she didn’t even have the booking made and she said all the guests she is expecting have checked in. Only after contacting Airbnb for assistance did she contact the staff on site to let me in.

Beautiful room, with beautiful views of the mountains. Very relaxing and peaceful. The rooms were kept very warm during a very cold weekend, which was lovely. Breakfast was great, hosts were superb. Close to the town, easy to walk to anywhere in clarens. The road to the accommodation was not great, our car got stuck on the rocks as it's not paved. Highly recommend riverealk

An absolutely fantastic weekend. The room is quite large and the bed very comfortable. An extra room leading from the bedroom to sit and watch TV. The bathroom has all that one would need. The breakfasts are tasty, freshly made and enough to go through for a late lunch. Hanelie and staff are most welcoming, pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be back. Thank you very much for a most enjoyable weekend.
